Good inexpensive processor

Intel Celeron G1610 - Celeron Ivy Bridge Dual-Core 2.6 GHz LGA 1155 55W Desktop Processor - BX80637G1610
Intel Celeron G1610 - Celeron Ivy Bridge Dual-Core 2.6 GHz LGA 1155 55W Desktop Processor - BX80637G1610

Pros: Runs 26°c idle and tops out at 35°c running small fft Prime95 55watts at 2.6ghz but at 1.8ghz at .893V that's like 40Watts. Exellent for downloading/home server/media player I don't feel too much of a performance hit from a i7 3770k under windows

Cons: 3dmark 2001 score was half of my i7 3770K. Not for gaming Intel Stock fan/cooler has been under sized for decades in my opinion

Overall Review: I am currently running a Coolermaster Nepton 140 XL AIO cooler. my i7 3770k had a severe overheating issue and I am using this processor while my RMA takes place :-) after I get my i7 processor back I will make a media center PC out of this processor :-)

destroys games if cooled well

PowerColor TurboDuo Radeon R9 290 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card AXR9 290 4GBD5-TDHE/OC
PowerColor TurboDuo Radeon R9 290 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card AXR9 290 4GBD5-TDHE/OC

Pros: 1100mhz core / stock voltage / +50 power limit 1450mhz ram Nice backplate All ddr5 chips have heat spreaders Bought the card at 299 openbox!! No black screens No flashing Destroys games Single card is 30-40% faster than 2 560ti' in sli I still have a 560ti for physx

Cons: VRM heat sinks are nice, but mounted very light on the chips themselves (they were both angled) and would flop around if i bounced the card in my hand. Max temp out of the box climbed to 95°C furmark and fans at 100% while throttling hard. Main heatsink had solder? On the copper raised gpu contact part, in turn causing an improper seat. After sanding, lapping it is flat now. The main heatsink has a mechanical limitation on how close it can get to the gpu die. Wiggle wiggle everywhere. Some nylon washers fixed that. Fans that are supplied with the unit are underpowered and temps would still climb into the 93+°C range at the OC speed mentioned in the pros. One silverstone php-141 140mm x 38mm 170+CFM fan and it never goes above 75°C

Overall Review: Sould the card have of worked as soon as I put it in my computer? Yes, of course I would like my video card to work without the above steps mentioned in the cons. Im getting a nepton 140xl aio tomorrow to put on this heat machine For 299.99 okay............. for 378.99 no way man. PowerColor's other card has had great reviews :-)

I will never buy asrock again.

ASRock Z77 Extreme3 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Works. Looks good. excellent spacing for big card Sli set ups Good vrm cooling Ram overclockers well

Cons: My i7 3770k on an vanilla z77 gigabyte motherboard i could boot into windows at 5.3ghz at 1.45v With this i can only achieve 4.8 at 1.4v don't advertise and overclocking board if it does not overclock. it took me 2 days to figure out how to disable the onboard GPU so I could get 4.8 gigahertz, with onboard graphics I was only able to manage 4.6 gigahertz at the same hi crazy voltage.

Overall Review: super duper unimpressed. I will now only buy gigabyte boards as they have almost never failed me this bad.

super great product

Corsair Certified CW-9060007-WW Hydro Series H60 Water Cooler
Corsair Certified CW-9060007-WW Hydro Series H60 Water Cooler

Pros: Not only was this 35 bucks, but the surface finish on the cooling side is fantastic :-) it must be 1500 grit. dropped my load temps On my gtx970 by 32 degrees Celsius. 72 to 40

Cons: the tubes are a little stiff, but less than you probably think. much easier to bend then Coolermaster Nepton 140 XL cooler.

Overall Review: The supplied hardware did not fit the GTX 970 GPU heatsink mounting holes. So I used Zip ties. I had to shave a 64th of an inch all the corners on the cold side for clearance for my ram sinks on my zoTac amp Omega edition. this allowed me 20 more megahertz.1450 to 1466 mhz I have locked voltage control on an overclockers card :-(

Fustrating and Awesome.

ZOTAC ZT-90102-10P GeForce GTX 970 AMP! Omega 4GB 256-Bit DDR5 HDCP G-SYNC Ready Video Card
ZOTAC ZT-90102-10P GeForce GTX 970 AMP! Omega 4GB 256-Bit DDR5 HDCP G-SYNC Ready Video Card

Pros: idles about 30c and with an aggressive fan profile i have NEVER seen it go over 62c during benchmarking with an OC of 1450/4078 Reasonably quiet even at 100%fan speed, it gets audible at 60% , my pc is behind my 42" Dynex tv. overclocked +185 on the core, reading 1450mhz boost solid stable with no voltage tap 1.200v 106% power target (Afterburner is the BEST) dancing at 60% TDP memory goes to 8.15Ghz all day long at 8.3Ghz i saw the "stars" coming from a gtx 560 Ti, then a 290 (died of heat stroke), this card steps up to the plate, well worth the extra cash for a cold running card. Tripple slot cooler (they all work) LN2 switch, I am going to play with this :)

Cons: OC+ via USB header (unless you get the Extreme edition, all this does is live readout) I will try flashing the Extreme bios when it becomes available. Unless i'm doing something wrong i can't even see the live "stuff" from the OC+ USB header with the latest downloaded FireStorm. FireStorm zotac software.... I am unable to unlock my voltage with this or any other program found. it might be the LN2 switch, but come on!!! I Have yet been able to unlock the voltage to see the potential of the scalability of this card. (there seems not to be anything helpful on the internet about this) My card overclocked is at 60% TDP!!! I know i have the headroom, I just want to unlock the voltage and "reap" the power that lays dormant :)

Overall Review: i7 3770k @ 5.2 Ghz 39°c idle / 92°c prime 95 max heat / 65°c in most games Cooler Master Nepton 140XLAIO ASRock Z77 Extreme3 Motherboard 1600mhz 8-8-8-20 CL1 ripjaws OCZ Revodrive V1 110gb 6Tb in other drives 6 140mm fans, 2 120mm fans Rosewill CAPSTONE 750W 80+ Gold first overclock run with the card in fire strike and i saw an immediate improvement in FPS over my "old" r9 290, end result.... you scored better than 97% of everybody in the world!!! 11,496

I am impressed

Intel Core i7-3770K - Core i7 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Intel HD Graphics 4000 Desktop Processor - BX80637I73770K
Intel Core i7-3770K - Core i7 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Intel HD Graphics 4000 Desktop Processor - BX80637I73770K

Pros: 1. My cpu must have been cherry picked. 5.0ghz @1.53v on 140xl nepton aio @100c in prime 95 small fft, but never goes past 90°c in 3d mark tests.... LOL 2. I run this cpu at 4.5ghz @ 1.22v for a nice 65°c prime small fft max temp 3. Igfx hd4000 is at 1400mhz +200mv @4.5ghz 65c 4. Igfx is at 1600 +200mv (max voltage on motherboard) @ 3.5ghz 40c 5. After applying better thermal compound my temps dropped 15c at 5ghz (not a huge change)

Cons: My first cpu received was faulty. 78°c at stock clocks, i needed 1.35v for it to be stable. Did not test the Igfx. The cooler supplied for a i7 unlocked overclocking chip is....I've deleted so many versions of this sentence

Overall Review: My rma with newegg went quickly and smoothly less than 1 week to have a new cherry picked chip I'm my hands. I bought a 50buck celeron to get me by before shipping it out. Score! I broke 3 $300 video cards trying to put a water cooler on them. 2 x 560ti and one r9 290.......That's how i learned about the Igfx...... Im running this chip on a z77-hd3 with aftermarket heatsink s on the VRM section, I am also using Ripjaws 1600 At 1800mhz, and a Roswell 750 watt power supply :-)
