This review is from: Acronis True Image 2014 - 1 PC
Pros: It can backup files and restore them well enough. Windows backup can do that however.
Cons: As an image creation/recovery program, it falls horribly short for me. The key to any successful imaging software is that you should be able to create and image, then restore to that image. Acronis has failed me multiple times over the years in this regard. I no longer use this product line for that reason. Acronis will let you create an image, saying everything is going well and it is completed, however the rating for that image will never be more than 3 stars, and has always failed when attempting to do a restore. Most recently a friend wanted me to use the free WD version, and to his surprise it failed in restoring the backup. I no longer use Acronis for any of my imaging needs and have moved to Miray software since their backups have worked 100% of the time. At the end of the day, a product has to work, despite any features, bells, and whistles it has.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Hardware is strong and has been reliable so far. Replaced a Linksys WRT54GL that was dropping 30% of its packets causing intermitttent connection issues. The WRT54GL was 3 years old though so I guess I can't complain.
Running tomato firmware on it and it's been a reliable champ with no issues at all except for a very small issue with the antennas
I'm not into the latest and greatest and 99 times out of 100 prefer reliable technology over leading edge, so I don't mind that this router is not the leading edge.
Cons: When changing the antenna positioning, you can start to unscrew the antennas rather easily. They are tight when you screw them on, however if you turn the antennas towards your left, they start to unscrew with little pressure. This just means you have to use two hands to steady the antenna while you adjust it. If you don't change antenna position often, it won't be a problem and is a minor inconvenience.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Cooler Master HAF 912 - High Air Flow Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: Overall good design, I personally like a more channeled airflow direction, but this is pretty good so far after 16 months. Case was purchased as part of a build for a friend/client. Cable management was very good and there is enough room to hide the majority of cabling.
Airflow is good and system has been cool and stable.
Cons: Installing hard drives becomes a very fast and easy process, however...
You must never lose or misplace your extra hard drive rails, as even though the cages have multiple holes drilled in them, they do not fit standard 3.5 drives with screws. Therefore there is no alternative way to mount your hard drives if you lose the included hard drive rails. I'm about to purchase an entire case just for the rails because of this. Cooler master has them for sale but unavailable at this time.
