This review is from: Samsung SL-M2020W/XAA Duplex 1200 dpi x 1200 dpi Wireless / USB Mono Laser Printer
Pros: Fast, using wireless as opposed to USB via router makes this machine fast. Combine that with the low power sleep mode and you never have to power on this printer. Includes a toner cartridge with an estimated 1000 pages. Has software to let you know the toner left and other stats of the printer.
Cons: I wish the paper tray had a cover like the ML-2010 so i could print when i want to. Right now I only put paper in when i want to print so it does not collect dust.
Other Thoughts: When i first installed it i was confused why the machine would shut off after 60 seconds since that is not long enough when you want to print multiple items. But it does not turn off, instead it was going into sleep mode. Printing from a PC or tablet will automatically wake it up which is awesome!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: WD 2TB My Cloud Personal Network Attached Storage - NAS - WDBCTL0020HWT-NESN
Pros: Fast, I am sustaining at least 44 MB/s when transefering large files and saturating between 25-50% of my GigE network card capacity.
The interface has a much better layout and is much more responsive than the old my book world edition.
The DLNA works and more responsive than the my book world edition.
The desktop app and status app for this drive is nice. I have yet to play with the andriod app but i am sure they will work out any bugs over time.
I was able to copy my 700GB of data on this drive in less than 24 hours. The my book world edition would take 4 times longer plus despite being replaced always crashed when copied large files (WD could not fix this issue) But that is not an issue for this new drive.
Cons: Despite the great interface some stuff is still confusing like trying to access a non public share over the internet which can only be done but selecting a sub folder and emailing it to someone. I think the solution is everything needs to be in a folder with "public share" access.
Other Thoughts: For a NAS that you cannot replace the drive in i think this one is tops and hard to beat.
I am using synctoy to backup to this drive but i think the drive is mature enough I should test out the smartware auto backup app WD provides for this device.
