Pros: Gave it three stars because of the value
Cons: Con's are, my drive has a 2008 MFG date. So this drive is ALREADY pretty old. Will see how long it holds up.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very easy to get online. No hiccups. The menu system is very clear cut and does not make you log into a third party website to use its features like NETGEAR does with its dumb genie interface.
Fast wifi, great range. Integrates with dropbox and allows local storage synched with dropbox.
Cons: So far there are no negatives. it's worked great
Other Thoughts: I have also NOT experience all the WIFI DROPPING connections that many people on here have went on and on and on about complaining like 4 year olds.
NO idea what you people are doing wrong, but it works fine here.
I came from a 5 year old NETGEAR 3700 which finally started giving connection reset errors on e b ay and am azon with SSL. I tried 6 ways from sunday to fix that. Not sure why it was doing this.
I changed to ASUS in part due to the integration with DROPBOX for remote access. Hopefully theres no more BUGS with that part.
This review is from: ARRIS SurfBoard SB6141 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem
Pros: Great speeds up to 109 meg down and 7.5 meg UP. Solid, never needed a reboot or restart in the last two years that it's been in use, powered on 24 hours a day!
Cons: Will NOT handle 300 meg down speeds. I asked time warner cable why I Was not getting the new 300meg download speeds they said everyone was getting, since I seemed to be hitting a brick wall at 109meg down.
They said this one wont work at up to 300meg down and I had to upgrade to the better model.
I have it 5 eggs even though it does NOT really do 300 meg down, even though it says it will. It may be TWC Texas does not support this modem at 300meg.
Other Thoughts: Overall, if you wont need 300 meg download speeds, this modem is typical solid motorola quality, no problems.READ FULL REVIEW
