This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm
Pros: This is my second stab into the single-loop water cooling solutions area (the first being Corsair's H80) and this is even better. Having learned from the H80, I paired this with 2xPWM SP120 Corsair fans for better static pressure as well as more silent operation.
The i7-4770k runs around 25-30 C idle and under full load on prime 95 never breaks 60 C at 4.2 GHz OC.
Cons: It's somewhat more awkward to mount given the plethora of cables you'll be routing for the Corsair Link controls, I find this a minor inconvieniance for all that this gives you.
Other Thoughts: Paired with the right fans, you'll get incredibly silent operation and great cooling, good buy!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: great price for what you get, asus build quality and driver quality.
Cons: q-fan throws a CPU fan exception using the H100i, if you connect 2 PWM fans to the FAN_OPT and CPU_FAN headers, they will operate at 500 RPM (reported in the BIOS correctly) however the Q-Fan monitor will throw CPU_FAN error A-2 on every boot until it's disabled.
I disabled the Q-Fan Control and installed the ASUS AI Suite to monitor/manage the fans and this did the job.
Other Thoughts: System Specs:
ASUS Maximus VI Hero
Samsung 256 GB 840 Pro
GTX 770 Lightning 2GB
16 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum
Pros: I ordered this case based on CoolerMaster's history of providing quality cases at a great price. I built a new rig in this case in less than 45minutes from start to finish. The build consisted of an ASrock mATX 1155 + Intel i3 2020 3.3 GHz with 3x WD 250 GB blue hard drives. I have 0 complaints about this case outside of wiring.
Cons: The wiring in this case was a bit tough, but that's not enough reason to take off an egg. I didn't expect much in terms of wiring from a mid-tower case at this range, however there was more than enough space for 3 HDDs and a Corsair 650 TX. Just something to keep in mind if you're building a serious rig, you may want to go bigger.READ FULL REVIEW
