This review is from: Logitech MK320 Black USB RF Wireless Standard Desktop
Pros: The biggest pro in my view is that I have not worn the letters off the keyboard. I mean this in all seriousness. I had a couple of cheap Logitech USB keyboards where in a couple of year's time I actually wore the little nubs off the J and F keys. I wore them smooth and shiny. The plastic used on these keys must be a stronger type.
I have the transmitter plugged into an USB port on the back of my machine. I have no issue with it being there.
I use another Logitech mouse with this keyboard, and its transmitter does not interfere with the keyboard one.
I am so used to this keyboard that when it dies, I will get the same one because touch type and hate having to get used to a different keyboard. I do a lot of typing every day on this one.
Another thing, I have spilled a soda on this keyboard and was able to wash it out gently because there are drain holes that allow liquids to drain out.
Cons: No cons to speak of. Your mileage will vary, since hands vary in size.
Other Thoughts: A friend of mine had this same keyboard and mouse. She was a smoker and had spilled coffee with sugar and milk on the keyboard more than once, and had cat hairs in it until the keys started sticking. I took the keyboard apart, washed all the parts out, dried it out, wiped the contact mylar with alcohol, put it back together, and it worked like new. The key action is just rubber bumps that are under the keys.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS P6T LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: well laid out. All memory slots good. Onboard sound works well. With my I7-930 I got it up over 4.0 Ghz on air. At stock, I could see no difference while using applications, so I left it at stock. Good clearance around the processor for a big heatsink. My Zalman cnps10X fits perfectly.
Cons: no cons as I see it.
Other Thoughts: those who have memory problems, if you goose up memory voltage you likely will get all memory recognized. It's a known problem on all brands of X58 boards using memory in all six slots.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS P6X58D Premium LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: I've used a dozen different brands of boards and booted many hundreds of computers over the years. I have had no issues with this board at all. It works great. For those who dislike the horizontal mounting of the SATA connectors, I like them because I have a much cleaner wiring of my computer when they lay flat against the back panel.
Other Thoughts: Every board will have issues with memory; its the nature of the beast. Asus is no worse or better than any other brand. Memory runs so fast now that it is very touchy in any board.READ FULL REVIEW
