Pros: Very fast bootup. Very light. Very good looking. Performs my grad school demands flawlessly. Comes with 6gm ram and a 32Gb ssd.
Cons: None so far. It does what it says it will do based upon the specs. Do not expect to play demanding games on high quality with this video card, it's not made for that. This video card will do any other duties well. It will, however, allow you to play 2-d games such as Torchlight and Diablo 3. It can even play borderlands 2
Other Thoughts: I will have to agree with Ken C. To the customer with a 1 egg review because this ultrabook does not have a touchscreen: No where does Newegg say it has a touchscreen. It was your mistake and your assumption that it did. I believe you are referring to the i3 that has the touchscreen (I could be wrong). Do not down rate a good machine because of your error. What makes it worse is that you will no longer support Newegg because of your own foolishness. What a shame. To be honest, I don't believe the touchscreen is a necessity with Windows 8. You can do all those functions with the pad or a mouse. I wouldn't want to put fingerprints on my screen anyways.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Stylish (I have received many compliments), Light weight (carrying this thing around is nothing), and fast (it performs any duties with ease)
Cons: This is not really a con, but Windows 8 will take time to get used to. After that it's quite an interactive and enjoyable operating system to use.
Other Thoughts: I've been doing light gaming on this laptop over the past week for 2-4 hours at a time and it performs without flaw. One of the best things about this laptop, however, is the insane bootup speed. I still can't believe it, but it can boot up in a matter of seconds--less than 5 to be exact. That's credited to the 32 GB "hybrid drive." Overall a good purchase and highly recommended.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This machine can and will perform all of your typical college duties well.
Can be used for light gaming such as League of Legends or Torchlight II
Comes with 6GB RAM, not 4GB in description.
Cons: There is nothing wrong with the machine, but Win 8 can produce some minor issues. When installing an app, it can be stuck in "pending" or "downloading" mode. To fix this, simply press "Win + W" and type "Troubleshooting." After clicking on the troubleshooting option provided, click "Fix Problems with Windows Update." Then it will say it fixed some stuff or didn't fix anything--that's ok. Now have it troubleshoot in administrator mode. After doing this, go back to your apps download and cancel them (right click on it). Now go back to the store and download/install them again. This worked for me and was an easy fix to a problem that can be really annoying for some users.
Other Thoughts: As mentioned earlier, it's powerful enough to play League of Legends, the most popular online MOBA although you will most likely have to put the settings on low w/ no shadows. I have also played Torchlight II on this machine and it performs flawlessly.READ FULL REVIEW
