Pros: Update: Lags to death on Mad Max, as well as other games now, plan on playing Witcher 3 on medium or high, not the best/ultra. My video card is the lowest windows performance score since I've upgraded to a 500gb SSD. I debated upgrading to the RX 480, but it has been sold out all month. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to purchase a new GTX 1060 in 2 days. N V I D I A GTX 1060 that is, granted I find 1 in stock.
Runs almost every game I throw at it without pause on highest settings.
Cons: UPDATE: They don't have RX 480 in stock, would have cost me $260 this week if it was in stock, going MSI this time sorry ASUS, the R7 265 I'm using I believe I paid $220 for 2 years ago. The RX 480 would be a superb upgrade for this AMD machine. Now I'm ready to wait another week because the RX 480 isn't in stock I'm about to spend $700 to build an intel i7 with Nvidia's GTX 1060.
Sleeping Dogs crashes after about an hour of game play on this R7 265 brand new out of the box.
Other Thoughts: R9 is only $20 more, same 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 ram but a better processor speed.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: UPDATE: 1 computer came with a cheap video card overall computer rating is a 4.0 on it, this computer also came with a CD burner drive so I was able to make backup disks. Easy to open and work on, really no tools needed (changed CD drive).
Cheap. came with a 17'' monitor. All 3 monitors were Dell. Easy setup & factory restore.
Update, rating boosted to a 5 star even with a computer that arrived dead because of customer service.
Cons: UPDATE: 1 USB port doesn't work, no DVD burners
I had issues with windows update because this is Windows home 32bit, this system does NOT come with mouse or keyboard, DVD Rom no burner (which is needed for backup disc, external USB burners are under $20)
I couldn't get windows update to work after a couple hours of trouble shooting I'm writing this review to expedite my return on my first computer of the three that arrived dead, power supply doesn't give me any power.
Other Thoughts: UPDATE: I added a video card to the 3 I have, also upgrading to DVD burners.
Quality customer service, 1 computer DOA (dead on arrival) a replacement PC was mailed with a prepaid return label.
Pros: Nice mid-full sized tower, 3.3ghz i3, 4gb ddr in 1 stick of the 4 spaces on the mother board, 500gb HDD setup just as C drive. Under $200 shipped.
Enough room for my GTX 460: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121391
Top mount power supply.
Cons: Video graphics are the worst possible, microsoft overall rating is 1.0 due to graphics. Weak power supply you only have 1x 4pin molex connection & 1x SATA power cable extra. And the 3.25 floppy power cable... Old i3 not a nice new i7...
Other Thoughts: I had an old power supply sitting on the shelf, plugged right in and turned right on, so I was able to toss in the old geforce 460 graphics card in... 1.0 graphics rating turned into 7.4! Overall rating on the computer is 5.9, standard 5400rpm HDD. Get a SSD and this is an amazing computer all for under $500.READ FULL REVIEW
