Amazing value

Acer H7531D 1080p 1920x1080 2000 Lumens Home Theater DLP Projector
Acer H7531D 1080p 1920x1080 2000 Lumens Home Theater DLP Projector

Pros: *Specs(not gonna list them all) *This thing is smart enough to know when you mount it upside down. *They include a carrying bag. I won't be using it but i am sure its helpful to some who travel with it. *It was really easy to set the zoom and focus. *PIP - this feature works great. I watch movies and play my PS3 in the PIP. The only downside is that you can only use analog inputs(S-Vid,Component,Composite). Bought the component cables for my ps3(HDMI seems picky on my ps3) and I can run the PS3 @ 1080P or switch it to 480 when i want to run it in PIP *The built in speaker isn't as bad as i figured...Its not amazing compared to a nice setup but if you were on the go, it would get the job done.

Cons: *I can't seem to get my PS3 to run over HDMI. I wouldn't blame it on the projector though... It is a japanese ps3 but i don't think that should be a problem. My laptops all work great and the component cable looks great so I am setup. Hopefully someone else will confirm that their ps3 works with it. *The only real problem I have is that there is no Audio out. It would be nice to set it up so whatever input is displaying, that audio would come out of my logitech Z-680's. Not a huge complaint though.

Overall Review: All in all, this thing was worth every penny. Lets address some cons: *Loud annoying beeps-These can be turned down in the menu. *Short cords- Almost valid...but use the money you saved to buy some cords. For this price, I am surprised they even include cables. *Intense heat- Its a projector...this is normal. *Slow start up shut down- Again, its a projector...this is normal. *The lamp broke after 12 inch fall-Those are made of glass you know? *long time to switch inputs- This is a little annoying but you don't do it often so its not that bad.

Worked great but not Silent

CORSAIR Hydro Series H60 (CWCH60) High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
CORSAIR Hydro Series H60 (CWCH60) High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Pros: -Great cooling -Build quality -Water cooling in a kit -Easy to set up(for AMD FM1)

Cons: Mine would make a weird high pitch noise. It wasn't loud but based on my specs, the noise was louder than i was hoping for. I talked to a friend who works for an OEM builder and he says he has heard of this issue and some people add a resister.

Overall Review: All in all, i'll bet this thing is great for overclocking. It cools well and in a system with reasonable noise levels, you won't notice the high pitch noise i got (if you get one that makes it) I would absolutly buy this for any gaming or overclocking machine but not for HTPC. It did fit in my case though so that might be helpful to some: LIAN LI PC-Q08B Black Aluminum Mini-ITX Tower Corsair Air Series SP120 Quiet Edition CO-9050005-WW (Fan used with the unit) SeaSonic X series SS-400FL2 (Fanless) CPU: AMD A6 2.1 tri and A8 3.0 Quad I switched back to the 2.1 tri as i don't need a power house but as you can see i wanted low power, low noise. For my needs, it was a little loud but in a normal system, i doubt you'd notice the noise.

This will fit in a Corsair 250D

ASUS ROG GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card STRIX-GTX1080-A8G-GAMING

Pros: -Quiet -Powerful -LED's that can be turned off.

Cons: -Insanely huge ( I imagine all 1080's are just as big) -$$$( I highly recomend the 1070 if you have less money than sense

Overall Review: I bought this baby to power my Acer Predator Z35. I wanted to take advantage of the 144-200herts. This card does that and does it well. If you're running a 1920x1080 display, I can't see any reason you'd buy this over the 1070 besides just having lots of money and wanting to be set for the future. All in all, this card is great over all. The card runs cool, quiet and really puts down the power. It's a great product and I hope it last a long long time. If you can afford it, you will love it. If you're on a budget, I'd get a 1070 and an SSD. Corsair 250D: This case is oddly hard to find video card info on. I feel like they measured the space the card sits in without actually test fitting the card. This card has recessed power connections and it's not to tall to fit. To get this card to fit, I did have to remove the front fan. Once it is in, just set the fan up and hope you never have to remove it!

Do not buy this with Intel Xeon 1265

GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3H LGA 1155 Intel B75 HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3H LGA 1155 Intel B75 HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: it's cheap... maybe it works with other cpu's

Cons: This thing has given me nothing but problems. I bought it with some ram that is 1.35 volts and i thought that was the issue. I tried changing settings and even pulling working 1.5v ram from a system that was running. no dice. Then i dug around for their phone number and called it. the lady tried to be helpful and she thought my card reader was the problem. It's still broken and I now am going to just buy a new board. The system just hangs and now i can't get into windows.

Overall Review: As it is, I used to be a fan but now, the board is pointing me elsewhere. I highly doubt they will work with me and honestly, the issues aren't worth my time. I'll just buy a board from another company and see where it goes.

I love it!

Intel Xeon E3-1265L V2 Ivy Bridge 2.5GHz (3.5GHz Turbo) 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1155 45W BX80637E31265L2 Server Processor

Pros: Amazing power consumption Plenty fast

Cons: Price It came with a girly man cooler

Overall Review: So i got a new IT job and needed tri monitor...I tried building a desktop with parts laying around and it was just nothing but problems. I had been putting off building a new gaming rig but decided to pull the trigger. I wanted a computer that would game with the best of them but maintain a 200 Watt power consumption(building pc's isn't as fun without limits). I bought this lil guy, a gigabyte board, 16 gigs of ram and a radeon 270X.. This PC completely overshot my goal and at idle is around 80 watts...medium gaming is 120 measured at the outlet. By comparison, my gaming laptop 2.6GHz I7 nvidia 675 seems to idle at 120 watts... The downside is the insane price. Oddly enough, i bought the last one newegg had...they seemed to have deactivated it after processing my order and i was worried they canceled it.

Razer Nostromo PC Gaming Keypad
Razer Nostromo PC Gaming Keypad

Pros: I wanted to post an update: +Still going strong after over 2 years!

Cons: -No way to tell if a macro is looping/active

Overall Review: You can find my other review with the same tittle for more about cons. I'm proud to report that over at least 2 years of service, its still going strong. This is with lan party use and daily desk use. If i had to, i'd buy it again even with the price tag. If you can find it on sale, you're wrong if you don't snag it. When the first device came out, if you had a looping macro active, all three LED's would flash so you knew it was active. Mine doesn't do this...
