Pros: Loads of features Fast Wifi. USB 3.0 support and very fast transfer speeds. Very Good GUI which is easily managed. Netgear maintains plenty of tutorials online for this specific device. Email Support is decent but not quick. Netgear also has a User forum available. VPN FTP and USB 3.0 Storage Capabilities. Free DNS domain name for static IP address.
Cons: The Forum is not moderated by Netgear and email support is slow. User community is weak and so too is modded firmware (dd wrt). My major complaint and why I returned it after 30 days use is no android or IOS apps that support the built in VPN or FTP to access via smartphone. It's also lacking for guest account and password support for same.
WIFi range is poor. literally unusable at 40 ft from device with nothing but dry walled wood framed 2x4s walls for obstruction. In comparison my DIR 655 was better but not by much in terms of range. It was mounted in my office on a wall facing the rest of my home. Somehow at this price point I expected better.
Other Thoughts: I bought this locally at Staples to make return easier if needed and I'm glad I did. VPN and FTP was easy to set up and Netgear gives you free domain DNS for a static IP albeit limited in terms of software and feature set to control it. They make it easy to setup and plenty of documentation for a novice but considering what you would use it for to lack Android and IOS support is a huge oversight. However reaching the VPN, FTP and USB attached storage from a windows laptop was easy enough to do and if that's all you need it for then you will not be disappointed.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Polk Audio Blackstone TL150 5-pack Home Audio Speaker System
Pros: amazing good looks solid build quality overall, 5 way binding, easily wall mountable, superb dimensional sound quality a really open airy feel.
Cons: It would be nice to see a sub paired/matched with it and should be considered with the purchase if you don't have one already for best results.
Other Thoughts: Better than you'd expect from such a small package at this price point I added this to an existing in ceiling 6.1 system for a 7.2 setup and paired it with Polk's PSW110 for an additional sub. What was my front R&L is now front high and was rear now rear surr making the TL150 my Main Front R&L, Main Center and Side Surrounds it is nothing short of awesome and plays way louder undistorted than I care to go. If you want something that is near audiophile quality for not to much money this is definitely a very good option you could pay a lot more and get way less.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Build Quality is solid heavy well built w/comfortable detacable wrist rest. The fit finish and feel is amazing. Like the smooth rubber feel of keys housing & wrist rest yet doesn't collect dust and is easy to clean. Nothing glossy and slippery here. The MX brown switches are awesome and a must have for gaming immediately I noticed an improvement to my game over all. The feel is fast tactile and ultra responsive. Multi key press never felt this good before. Windows key is off by default but can be easily activated and the inclusion of multi media keys is a plus when browsing etc. On the fly macro recording and convenient placement of macro keys with great software that works well w/ W7 Intuitive and easy to learn an use. Even typing is fast and pro friendly. As a matter of fact this is what makes the brown vs red switch the best all around option for mechanical keyboards. It's great at both gaming and typing w/ slightly less actuation force vs the red clicky switches. Cooler Master has out done themselves by making this fantastic product.
Cons: None except I missed the shell shocker deal of the day to save a bit of money.
Other Thoughts: I love the lighted keys which has multiple modes and brightness settings easily accessible on the fly through key strokes. If you are a gamer this will most definitely improve your game.READ FULL REVIEW
