This review is from: Thermaltake CL-P008-AL09WT-A 92mm Gravity i1 65W Intel Low Profile CPU Cooler
Pros: Fits LGA 1150 perfect, mounted on an Intel G3220, so the cooling of this HSF should be very sufficient for this CPU.
Biggest pro is the backplate and screw retention system - it's the main reason I bought it - I assembled a computer for a family member and shipped it.
Cons: no cons - fit perfectly on an ITX mobo, plenty of clearance for GPU and RAM.
Other Thoughts: There's no way the Intel stock HSF with the dinky retaining clips/pins would hold up to any kind of shipping. I'd even be afraid to even hand transport (car ride/hand carry) a computer with the stock HSF. Not sure what intel was thinking with that design...but I digressREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill RK-9000 - Mechanical Keyboard - Cherry MX Blue Switches
Pros: Great keyboard with satisfying response with awesome clickiness and feel.
Cons: USB connection at keyboard (mini) died rendering keyboard useless. I tried to use other mini USB cables with no success. I'm using my backup sidewinder X4 for this review
Other Thoughts: It is a great keyboard. I've submitted RMA directly through Rosewill. I hope they approve RMA and repair/replace. If not, I'm fairly handy with a soldering iron.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: My first IPS display and is noticeably more crisp and better contrast than my TN panel (Also a 23" Acer), which is also in use for dual monitor setup.
Cheap! got it for 129.99 shipped free.
The whites are whiter then the TN and since it's a glossy screen i'm guessing there's less diffusion like my matte finish TN, contributing to the image crispness.
No visible dead pixels, looked at an all black picture as well as white.
Great on power consumption, I don't worry as much for having this monitor connected to UPS, my secondary TN panel is not plugged in to batt back up.
Cons: The stand only adjusts with tilt up/down. No height adjustment. Won't dock an egg since i knew this from other reviews prior to buying it.
Most times when I run a program, windows 7 UAC activates (when the screen goes dim and flashes the permission box) to ask permission to run the program;this monitor goes black and takes about 3-5 seconds to respond... and then I can see the UAC dialog box to click yes or no on program permission. (still works, just inconvenient, no eggs taken away)
Other Thoughts: I'm playing Call of Duty: Ghosts, DOTA 2, DIablo 3 and Soldier Front 2 with no issues or ghosting.READ FULL REVIEW
