This review is from: Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120mm Case Fan
Pros: I got 2 of these to replace the fans on my H105 Radiator.
-VERY quiet! with a broad RPM range that can go as low as 180 RPM.
-I tweaked my motherboards fan controller so that the fans don't speed up until the CPU reaches 60c, so that they literally make no noise at all unless I load the CPU.
-Unique color and style that's stands out.
-All the cables you need.
-Excellent air flow for a 1500 RPM fan.
Cons: -Unique color may not be liked by all.
-These are pricey... worth it but.... ouch...
-Not as much airflow as my original fans (but see other notes)
Other Thoughts: My H105's original fans sounded like a jet engine as they sped up to 2500 RPM, and they raddled because of the pressure of forcing air through a radiator. The airflow to noise ratio on these fans on the other hand is through the roof, at 1500 RPM they produce only a little more noise than my 3 x 230mm case fans at 800 RPM, while at the same time producing an impressive amount of airflow through the radiator, enough to keep my 4.5ghz 4770k under control during prime 95.
Also, most gaming and such doesn't push my CPU past 60c, so typically these fans stay at a very low, inaudible speed even while gaming.
This review is from: GELID Solutions GC-Extreme Thermal Compound
Pros: I run a 4770K @ 4.6ghz 1.304Vcore, with a H105 water cooler, and I was just using the coolmaster thermal compound that came with my old Hyper 212 EVO. It worked, but I didn't realize how much of a difference a good thermal compound would make. So I did my research, and found that although this isn't the best on the market (apparently "Coollaboratory Liquid" apparently is, but its tricky to apply, more expensive, and a special order item), it was the best that was readily available from here.
Simple. It dropped my Prime 95 (large FFTs test) hottest core temp from 79c to 74c just like that, no hassle. 5c drop!
It dropped my idle temps from 31c to 24c too, 7c drop.
Very impressed, very happy.
Also put it on my MSI 980Ti Gaming 6G, dropped it a good 4c, sits around 71c max load instead of 75c while overclocked to 1484mhz core/ 4000mhz ram.

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H105 Extreme Performance 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler, CW-9060016-WW
Pros: Excellent cooling performance, it keeps my 4770k 4.5ghz 1.3vcore at about 74-78c Max while running prime 95, and that's with the fans limited to a maximum of 75%.
Fit in my case without any problems (thor V2), was pretty easy to install.
Very sturdy and well built. The swap-able accent ring made it an easy match to my black/red motherboard.
If your really picky about noise, the pump makes a tiny bit, but I personally cant hear it unless I stick my head in the case. Very happy.
Cons: The fans.... lol the fans... If you set them to 100% it literally sounds like a jet turbine spinning up. BUT, unless your running an even higher OC than I am, you don't need the fans running at 100%, which is why I limited them to 75%
Being that this is an easy fix, I'm not knocking off an egg.
