Does what it says it would
Pros: Does exactly what it says it does. I enjoy the extra Battery life and the Full size USB Port. Its nice that I can swap this on the fly with my other transformers pad dock on the fly for greater mobility. Similar to traveling with an additional battery if necessary.
Cons: This is a TF201 so it looses an Egg.
Overall Review: Got the 64 gig Tablet and took part of the 40 dollar discount deal. I would repeat the purchase again.
Great at the Beginning.
Pros: Love the media Extension options and the extra Ports. It makes a much better mobile setup with the keyboard.
Cons: Touchpad (motion sense and Buttons) stopped working on the device after only 4 weeks of use. If I plug in a wireless Mouse via the Expansion USB port it works correctly but I don't want to have to rely on that since I routinely use external Storage devices to load and unload Movies for trips. I am also noticing that the Secondary battery in the keyboard isn't discharging at the same rate as the Primary and I will see the Docking station battery @ 75 % when the primary is almost dead.
Overall Review: I have a support case open with ASUS at the moment and I know that Other people have seen the same issues with this.
High Througput Good L3 Core and Access Switch
Pros: I find these switches Performing extremely well in there new setup. I have 3 of these, 2 in the Network Core (stacked), and one in a distributed\Access layer functionality role in a different part of the building. I am using Inter-VLAN routing with RIP running great and Multi SSID Access points (Tagged VlAN Traffic) and roaming Laptops. Originally I didn't think these could server the role that they are was gong to get a chassis switch (cisco-4510 enchanced chassis) and use these in a access layer setup. I have a total of 18 vlans running with a quite a few network services. Primary uplinks see about 60 gigaBYTE of data daily, but most of this is local area routing traffic for our local resouces.
Cons: None, Currently. Will review again if I have any issues.
Overall Review: Firmware upgrade process was as normal "managed" switch would do. I find that these devices to be flexable in there offerings. Netgear's "HSRP" option is a little slower than cisco's but the fail over time is sub 1/2 second.
Good Server Chip for VM-Ware
Pros: Excellent Processor for quad Socket-Quad core systems. It runs multiple Virtual machines on our custom built servers for VMware 3.02. Never has caused any issues. Gives solid Consistent Performance. We have a small Grid of 6 Quad Socket machines with 64 GB ram each for our enviroment. This has to be one of the Best Performing Processors I have ever used.
Cons: NEEDS ALOT OF AIR. You have to have a good airflow setup to make sure these don't overheat if you use them in a rack. I also wish the XEON 7XXX series would be running on 1333 or 1600 FSB instead of the 1066 that is currently available.
Overall Review: Excellent Processor and Well worth the money that was put into the systems.
ASUS G G2s-B2 can do it all.
Pros: I have found to be an excellent laptop. Almost everything I want to do I can do with this thing.
Cons: Its a little bit heavy but thats what you get when you want a TRUE Desktop replacement/Semi Portable system. Too much malware from the Get go.
Overall Review: Works wonders with my Games and supports my working requirements as well. Great box all around.
