Uh, What?
Pros: Excellent machine...that doesn't say anywhere that it has a touch screen, hence...doesn't have a touch screen.
Cons: The guy below me says he is angry because the computer doesn't have a touch screen. He is correct. Not only doesn't it have a touch screen...it never states that it has a touch screen. So, given the listing here on NewEgg, one can safely assume that it does not have a touch screen. Why someone would slam an item for not having what it never said it had is beyond me.
Overall Review: ...and, the guy admits that he didn't take the time to do any reseach or, more importantly, even read the listing. Still, he gives it one egg for his being too stupid to even read the listing. It is this kind of thing that kills the value of reviews. Dear Mr. N/A (do you notice that reviews like this never say who they are...just "N/A"?)...learn to read. This is an excellent laptop...and your bogus review will keep people from getting a bargain on a great machine.
Update
Pros: Nice blue LED Reasonably Quiet Moves air well Inexpensive I bought three I am a long-time satisfied customer.
Cons: One still works. Called CoolerMaster...they said they would send me ONE...gee, thanks. They sent me a parts form to fill out...the link was dead. They said to send the invoice...I did, via .pdf. Several weeks later...nada, zero, nothing, zilch. Two failures, they say they'll send one, then send nothing at all. Thanks CM...thanks a lot I am an upset long-time customer.
Overall Review: Customer service has not done anything for me, other than say they would send me ONE, not two...and then send nothing. Maybe now, I am an ex-customer. Ball is in your court, CM.
Excellent Buy for my Home Music Studio
Pros: i5-Quad Windows 7 Pro Runs ProTools 9 and Adobe Creative Suite 5.5
Cons: Could use an SSD, a video card, and 4Gb more RAM...doing that now.
Overall Review: Well-packaged Excellent (like new) condition
This is my 3rd
Pros: Excellent fit and finish. So easy to install. Plug&Play. Aluminum and a fan for cooling. Sturdy. Doesn't need a stand.
Cons: The fan is loud, but that is easily solved by turning it off and leaving suitable space for cooling.
Overall Review: I have three of them now. No problems. And, they look very nice standing together, I use them in my HTPC, so USB 2,0 is not an issue for me. Excellent buy.
Purchased 2/27/2009; Still My Powerhouse 12/21/13
Pros: Cache, speed, longevity, pure power.
Cons: How can you have a con for a CPU you have been using hard for coming up on 5 years?
Overall Review: O/C'd to 3.33 since it was new. Has run 24/7/365 for nearly 5 years, except for maintenance and new motherboards. It is still a high-end CPU. I am now almost totally laptop/desktop replacement: Samsung i5; SONY VAIO i5; HP Elite Haswell i7-Quad; MacbookPro 13" Retina i5. STILL, when I am home, I do what I need with my Q9650. I don't game, but I do a lot of transcoding and BOINC. It isn't bleeding edge, but it is still a serious monster CPU.
Excellent Pro/Semi-Pro Backup Camcorder
Pros: Fantastic in every way. External microphone and headphone jack on a camera currently sellig at 139? Even at list price, this camera is a bargain...as a Refurb, it is somply the only choice for serious videographers and casual users alike
Cons: Non-threaded lens barrel. Battery life, but, get a Wasabi battery set (2 per package + charger) for a third the price of a Canon extra capacity batteryand away you go...happy. For this camcorder, for this price, there aren't any other cons.
Overall Review: This camcorder gets stellar reviews from Professionals and Semi-Professionals alike, especially as a backup camcorder. BH reviews have it at 4.4-stars, with the majority of lower ratings usually given by casual users or by people who complain about battery life. The same is true of other review sites. I use mine for storm chasing and for other stuff that places my camera at risk for breakage. I don't want to risk my professional camcorder during these sorts of adventures. Hard to believe, but, at this price, they are disposable camcorder. If it gets too beat up, you toss it. Again, for this refurbished price, you can't beat it.
