Pros: Purchased two of the 3 TB drives for a WHS server. Formats to 2.7 TB using MBR. Best price per TB I found. Drives were well packaged for shipping, looks like Newegg has figured this out.
Cons: None yet.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SYBA SY-PCI40010 PCI SATA II (3.0Gb/s) 4 Port RAID 0/1/5/10 JBOD Card
Pros: Using this card in a older P4 Mobo running WHS (the older version, not 2011). I had no PCIe slots, only PCI. Mobo recognized the card right away, WHS not so much.
Cons: Requires a BIOS update to either the NON-RAID BIOS, if you do not want to run an array. OR the RAID BIOS to run one of the many RAID version that the card supports.
Other Thoughts: Go the the Silicon Image website and download the 6.6 bios update. As others have said, flash either the "r" version for RAID or the non-"r" version for no RAID. Reboot and update your drivers according to the setup you intend to run.
I am having issues with the 2TB file limit in WHS, but that is a problem with the OS, not the card.
This review is from: URC MX-500 Universal Infrared LCD Remote Control with Joystick
Pros: Nearly indestructible. I have had my MX500 for several years and it has never failed me. Numerous different components and it has controlled them all (TVs, receivers, DVD, PS3, Xbox360, Dish, etc). My 2 year old even dropped it in the toilet. After it drained and dried out, I put new batteries in it and it fired right up!
Cons: No RF transmitter.
Other Thoughts: Cannot go wrong with this remote, but Universal Remote has gotten snobby in the last few years and will not offer tech support if you do not buy this from an "authorized reseller". However, it is easy to program and you will likely never need their help anyway.READ FULL REVIEW
