Pros: Solid motherboard for over 3 years. Reason for this review is that it works with new 8-core FX-8320e processors.
Other Thoughts: Server was shut down, old processor removed, new processor (FX-8320e) installed, and powered on. The entire procedure took about 5 minutes, and I didn't even have to touch the bios.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Should work in almost any AM3+ motherboard.
Is a great upgrade for 1, 2, 3, 4, or 6 core processors.
Extends computer performance enough to last another few years for only the cost of the processor.
Cons: None if you are replacing an old processor and can reuse the rest of the system.
Other Thoughts: I used this as a drop-in replacement for an Athlon II x4 640 processor. The performance jump is amazing. Since my motherboard has an AM3+ socket, it "just worked". This is an amazingly cheap upgrade for a 4+ year old system.
As long as you have an AM3+ motherboard, this upgrade is a no brainer.
Pros: Worked. After reading about so many people having issues with various motherboard and RAM combinations, I was pleased when I had no problems at all.
Other Thoughts: This was my first DDR3 purchase. I went with Corsair, because I have had good experiences with them in the past. I was not disappointed.
I haven't tried to over clock them yet, but working at stock speeds from the begining is great.
