Pros: Sturdy. Improved speed over older UBS 2 enclosures (backups went from 15-20MB/s to 60-70MB/s). Very quiet fan. I have 3, they have been running on and off for over a month now without any issues (physical or stability).
Cons: Had to gently "persuade" my WD Green Caviar disks to line up to the 4 screw holes. In one of 3 enclosures, I was unable to get the 4th screw in.
The provided cable is short (about 3ft) - check if you need a longer one while you're ordering.
Other Thoughts: Did the job without any deal-breaker issues. The blue LED's are _bright_.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SIIG USB 3.0 4-Port PCIe i/e Model JU-P40212-S1
Pros: Good build quality. No issues with physical install - everything lined right up. Driver installed without issue (downloaded updated "xHCI Driver v1.12.18" from TI). Using this for external backup disks. Backup speed jumped from about 15-20MB/s to 60-70MB/s.
Cons: At install time, VMWare workstation 8.0 does not support this USB3 chipset so I have to add the disks as "physical disks" which is more of a hassle than attaching/detaching a USB storage device.
The connectors on the back are spaced very tightly, I ran into issues with cables having slightly overmolded connectors.
Only 1st and 2nd external connector work with my Rosewill RX358 enclosure, whereas all 3 external connectors work with e.g. Transcend USB3 thumb drive.
Other Thoughts: It gave me what I needed - speed-up of my backups.READ FULL REVIEW

Pros: Haven't done much writing with it yet, but the one thing that blew me away is that it plays rental DVDs that no other drive I own (standadlone or in a laptop or PC) can play without skipping or aborting. Deserves 5 eggs just for that imho!
Cons: None.READ FULL REVIEW
