This review is from: Rosewill RX-C200 2.5" SSD / HDD Aluminum Mounting Kit for 3.5" Drive Bay
Cons: I've had this for almost 2 years now. It has never fit into a case without making adjustments. I've never installed it permanently anywhere.. I just use it to hold the drives while I install the software, until another adapter comes in. See 'other thoughts'
Other Thoughts: For whatever reason, this adapter will not fit in a few toolless cases. I have even tried to get this to install toollessly into the Rosewill Blackbone case. It's never going to happen. The case itself has a 'stop' bend in the bracket that prohibits the drive adapter from going all the in to a point where 4 screws can be installed. Instead it's hanging out into the middle of the case. Fortunately it doesn't but right up to my video card.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Antec GX500 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: Power button on top!
Multiple fans ON TOP!
Fan dust filters
Bottom PS mount
Cons: not really a con, but I moved my existing MB and CPU over to this case. Because of the configuration (non-OEM high heatsink and fan), I preferred not to remove the heatsink and fan, so I had a helluva time getting 2 motherboard screws in. I wound up having to get a very long phillips head to get to the screws.. your results may vary.
Other Thoughts: I love this case. The case I replaced, had the power button at the top also, but top-FRONT, which sometimes I would accidently hit when I was ejecting the CDRom tray (the computer sits under the desk in the dark). This case has the power button more at the top-TOP.
I had no problems installing my SSD, or hard drive caddy.. and everything else was a breeze. The case is not hardened steel, but it's not flimsy either. I'm very happy with this purchase!
This review is from: Pioneer SW-8-K 100W Powered Subwoofer Single
Pros: Bought it at yard sale price (from Newegg of course)
Other Thoughts: I bought this during one of Newegg's many sales for my brother. He was in need of a sub, and I've been buying Pioneer equipment my entire adult life. After hooking it up and setting the recommended crossover, I thought the unit might be bad, as I could get no sound out of it for 30 minutes, then I realized I hadn't changed his Pioneer receiver front speakers to 'small', which kicked the sub in. He was extremely happy with the sounds it produced. He turned on his TV and was smiling at how much more immersive the sound was for that too.READ FULL REVIEW
