Linksys WRT1200AC Wireless AC1200 Dual-Band and Wi-Fi Wireless Router with Gigabit and USB 3.0 Ports and eSATA
  • eggxpert iconEggXpert
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Nice looking, and easy set up

Cons: Not any faster than my cheaper Trendnet Wireless router.

Other Thoughts: This is a nice beefy looking unit, but it does not perform any better than the TrendNet I have been using. It certainly is not worth the price.

TP-Link Archer T2UH AC600 High Gain Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter
  • eggxpert iconEggXpert
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Easy to set up with included driver/utility disk and gets you online OK.

Cons: Would be nice if the USB cord was longer.
2.4GHz displays a much higher signal strength then 5GHz does to the wireless router in my house, which has a dual band interface also of 2.4 - 5 GHz.
Did not come with the "free" cradle. boo hoo.

Other Thoughts: This TP Link adapter is plugged into a Dell, Windows 7 64 Bit PC in the back bedroom, and I get a solid 5 bar signal. It was easy to set up, just took a couple minutes or so. I have tried TP Link wireless adapters before, and I really do not see this one as being any faster or stronger than the other single band adapters from TP Link. Don't get me wrong, it is fine for getting online and browsing the web, checking emails and watching some you tube/netflicks stuff.

Linksys EA6350 AC1200+ Wi-Fi Wirless Dual-Band+ Router, Smart Wi-Fi App Enabled to Control Your Network from Anywhere
  • eggxpert iconEggXpert
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Fast delivery.
Super easy set up.
Good WiFi signal throughout the house.
Nice color, and I like the low profile design.

Cons: No cons yet.

Other Thoughts: This router works just fine for me. I do not get true gigabit speed from my ISP (AT&T) where live, so I was unable to test it for that, however...speeds are good, I can go online with my smart phone, my Samsung tablet, and my old Dell laptop using this router, no problem at all and watch netflix, You Tube etc.
I can't say that it is any better then any of the other wireless routers I have tried including a Trendnet, and Buffalo router, all having dual band, USB 3.0 ports, and built in switches.
