4 out of 5 eggsCool Design, Plenty of Space

This review is from: Rosewill Throne-Window - Black ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case - Supports E-ATX / XL-ATX Motherboards, Supports Up to 8 Fans

Pros: I love design of this case. There was plenty of room for everything that I had gotten to fit in it. For the price it is really worth the money.

Cons: The throne is heavy for its size as well as the packaging is a little lacking. Really feel that Rosewill should rethink the way they package the unit. Received two that were damaged. 1st was the side window as well as the top, the second was just the window.

Other Thoughts: I took an egg off mainly due to packaging. With that said I can honestly say I will gladly purchase another Rosewill product after the customer service I recieved. After receiving the second damaged product I contacted Rosewill, ( as I didn't want to have to wait another 2 weeks on a RMA) to see if they could just send me a new clear plastic for the side. They said that they couldn't but they could send me an entire new side for it. After a couple weeks I received the new side with no issues whatsoever with it. This is the second Rosewill case that I have owned and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely get another Rosewill Case when I am ready to upgrade.

5 out of 5 eggsThat's no moon

This review is from: Rosewill Throne-Window - Black ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case - Supports E-ATX / XL-ATX Motherboards, Supports Up to 8 Fans

Pros: Plenty of room
Way more drive bays than you'll ever need
Great airflow and cooling options
Quieter than my laptop even with fans turned to max
You can watch your fans spin and make racecar noises
You can even fit your monitor inside it

Cons: The window brackets are strange and need to be adjusted with pliers for a snug fit
I have no idea how to carry this thing

Other Thoughts: I just checked on the measurements for this thing and I can't honestly believe it's <2" tall. This thing is massive. Rarely (never) have I made a computer purchase and thought "I may have overdone it" but there's a first time for everything. Beyond that, it's an amazing tower and they really took the time to manage the fan cabling so that you just plug in a 4-pin molex and off you go. Managing the rest of your cables is a breeze as well. Only real issue is during shipping a couple of the window brackets were broken off, but that's no fault of the manufacturer. A 5-minute plier job was enough to keep the window in securely for my purposes.

It looks silly with a uATX motherboard inside it. 5/5 would buy a small vault again

3 out of 5 eggsNice case horrible manual bad shipping practice

This review is from: Rosewill Throne-Window - Black ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case - Supports E-ATX / XL-ATX Motherboards, Supports Up to 8 Fans

Pros: lots of room for additional components in future.. looks nice.. I love having a hotswap bay

Cons: accessories box was tried to be secured with a twist tie failed and box was flopping all around during shipping knocking off the rubber feet for power supply rose will use 2 zip ties on this box tightly and you'll have a lot less damaged cases to your customers.. manual is terrible and wrong.... started putting in motherboard standoff screws looking at the manual got half of them in and looked..... its so far off its laughable... oh well I just put them where I thought looked correct it should be fine when my motherboard comes in the mail

2 out of 5 eggsToo Good to be True

This review is from: Rosewill Throne-Window - Black ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case - Supports E-ATX / XL-ATX Motherboards, Supports Up to 8 Fans

Pros: It's a large, bulky, but extremely awesome case with enough room and style to fulfill your needs. It comes with 3 fans and 2 LED fans (at least mine did, the NewEgg YouTube video claimed it came with 5 and 2 LED). Nice and polished but only held short at it's companies flaws. (See next).

Cons: Oh boy, here we go. The first day of it arriving to my home I disassembled it and immediately inspecting it, upon which I found some of the following, but not limited to:

1) A MISSING DRIVE BAY: It "comes" with 10 drive bays, mine was missing one ever so noticeably right the in the center, how do you miss that in assembly! IRRITATING.

2) A FAN WAS MISSING A SCREW: The two fans were bolted in securely, on top of that maybe a little too securely as it looks like the screws were put in too tightly and cracked the edges. Above all, a screw is missing from one of the top fans and as a result caused MASS vibration. IRRITATING.

3) One of the rubber power source lifters was missing, but upon further inspection I discovered IT WAS STUCK TO THE SIDE OF THE DRIVE BAY. WHAT? COME ON.

Other Thoughts: My final thoughts, is it is beautiful on the outside, but a bit lackluster on the inside. The inside was also very scratched up, I also found random pieces of broken plastic inside that I'm still unsure what they came from. It's these little things that are yes, IRRITATING. So, for the sake of the high price and having the chance of having to send it back, my final thought on it is, save yourself the trouble and just buy a different brand. Let me tell you, IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

1 out of 5 eggsGood Looks - Bad Quality

This review is from: Rosewill Throne-Window - Black ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case - Supports E-ATX / XL-ATX Motherboards, Supports Up to 8 Fans

Pros: This case looks really cool; let me say up front that is 1 of 3 reasons I purchased it. The other two are that it's a Rosewell - a company that usually makes decent stuff and that it was recommended for having good space for a 240mm radiator; just what I needed!

Cons: Arrived broken - and not because of shipping. The unfortunate problem with this case is that is it just poorly designed for integrity. The core of the case is indeed metal but the front and top are very weak, very cheap plastic. This means that ANY pressure on the plastic at all just causes it to snap, crack or otherwise break.
The interior components weren't secured in any way at the factory - they were just allowed to rattle around and scratch/chip the inside of the window during shipping. The screws weren't even put into the back when this case was put into the box! This means that the side-panel had nothing holding it onto the side other than some cheap styrofoam...

Even the cool little 'thorn' vents on top don't open/close smoothly because the plastic they're made of isn't sturdy.

Other Thoughts: I'm sadly surprised by this poor of quality from Rosewill. I was looking forward to using this case to build an awesome-looking rig but the total lack of quality isn't worth the appearance.

5 out of 5 eggsI reign supreme.

This review is from: Rosewill Throne-Window - Black ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case - Supports E-ATX / XL-ATX Motherboards, Supports Up to 8 Fans

Pros: Space, Air flow, deceit cable management, price, look, white leds"i got the gunmetal one". Just some of the things that make this gaming case awesome. Best case I have bought to date "mind you this is my first super tower".

Cons: Ok now for the cons, lets see. The mesh collects dust"but then again all meshes do" and the top fans could have more mounting points for 3x 120's
or two 140's or possibly a water cooled solution. of course a good drill and a steady hand could remedy that. Most ppl do not want to go that far.

Other Thoughts: This is my first super tower but i really like everything I saw in there.

1 out of 5 eggsImportant to special builders!

This review is from: Rosewill Throne-Window - Black ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case - Supports E-ATX / XL-ATX Motherboards, Supports Up to 8 Fans

Pros: Attractive and Large

Cons: To all pro builders (especially servers)

This case WILL NOT fit extended atx cases such as 12x13. Avoid my huge mistake - DO NOT BUY IT!!!

Other Thoughts: What a waste, and what I feel is false advertisement. Why do case manufacturers claim their case will fit a e-atx (12 by 13). A REAL e-atx board is 12 x 13, not something else.

4 out of 5 eggsAwsome, "virtually childproof" chasis!

This review is from: Rosewill Throne-Window - Black ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case - Supports E-ATX / XL-ATX Motherboards, Supports Up to 8 Fans

Pros: This is an amazing case. I needed it solely on the fact that it was one of, if not the only, full ATX tower that had a door/cover for the optical drives and media bays. My little 2 and 3 year old kids would always get into mischief with my older case and hit open the cd-rom/dvd drive, whilst trying to install important software no less! Problem solved! I also, should mention the discreet power button and top side ports are a plus!
The chassis' topside fin ventilation is something new and cool to me on this build It makes sense to have when installing a water-cooling system.
I was pleased to see a dust filter at the bottom (I had a lot of dust build up issues with older builds, in that particular area) love how Rosewill set a standard for cleanliness and efficiency here.
Inside of the chassis are a lot of great options for cable management and easy loading of HDDs/SSDs.
Other components (PSU, Mobo, Optical drives etc.) were a breeze to load in there as well!

Cons: I received the chassis along with a water-cooling system. The H100i by Corsair to be exact. It was also bundled with an MSI X99s Motherboard.
These two items will not fit in this case together without making (or buying) modified parts.
The H100i's fans are too large to fit snug against the X99s Motherboard (due to the motherboard's large topside heat sink).
You will eventually need to purchase some 140mm slim fit fans to replace the default fans off the H100i.
There was also some trouble fitting the larger EVGA GTX980 into the case, but some reconfiguring of wires and use of different PCI-E ports remedied the problem.
Also, with its wide body and tall frame made it impossible to fit under my desk. Now I need to be watchful as not to spill a drink or other small items onto it.

Other Thoughts: I suppose I ran into these problems due to the fact of me purchasing the chassis combo. Others may see this "Cons" information irrelevant if the chassis were purchased separately and the buyer considered other means of modification.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Nice!

This review is from: Rosewill Throne-Window - Black ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case - Supports E-ATX / XL-ATX Motherboards, Supports Up to 8 Fans

Pros: Didn't expect this case to be as roomy as it is! Tons of space to put everything and lots of holes for running cables behind. The vents on top work well and make it harder for dust to settle on the top open area and fall into the case. Drive bays are super easy to get out and in. Tons of fans in it factory. Looks great and can hold just about anything. Can't wait to finish getting all the parts in!

Cons: A few on the outlining plastic pieces that are held by the clips on the window were broken off on arrival. Not taking an egg off because the window had padding around it and the outer shipping box was a bit dinged up. Nothing a little bit of super glue can't fix.

Other Thoughts: This Case is big and heavy, picking it up is a tad bit tricky due to the plastic face, top, and bottom dust cover. I would suggest trying to not move it around a lot to avoid dropping it or breaking the plastic clips holding the face to the case
