5 out of 5 eggsIncredible Processor

Pros: - After nearly two years of use still extremely fast and all I need.
- Runs very cool (especially with an aftermarket HSF), and was easy to install.

Cons: -No cons at all.

Other Thoughts: - Since the 6th gen Intel 4690k has been out for some time I would definitely recommend that one it's the replacement for the older 5th gen 4670k, and is nearly identical to the 4670k in all respects, save some very small TIM/Heat/Thermal chacacteristic improvements that Intel made which result in about a 2-3c temperature difference. If you have one of these 4670k processors then you already know how fast it is and I see no need to upgrade for some time to come. No bottlenecks for high end GPU's with regards to gaming performance, and that is the main thing about owning any Intel I5/I7 processor since the Ivy Bridge era you are pretty much good-to-go as even those processors are still doing quite nicely .

5 out of 5 eggsfast, big upgrade

Pros: low power compared to AMD
ability to overclock if i should ever need to
running strong for 2yrs in a z87 sabertooth mobo
excellent for gaming. powerful enough for all the latest games

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: upgraded from a 2.4ghz core 2 duo. feels amazing, lightning fast. I didn't see the need for spending another $150 on an i7. the i5 does everything i need it to and hasn't really struggled.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Processing Power!

Pros: -Easy to install
-Great for overclocking
-Overall performance is very exceptional

Cons: -Not as fast as an i7 naturally, but still very amazing. Can't really dock an egg for that.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this to anyone on a budget that needs great performance.

5 out of 5 eggsBugatti

Pros: This is just snappy in all situations. All games I have ran @1080 with a r9 290 are buttery smooth.

Cons: It'a just too bad I don't have a waffle maker to make waffles to slather all this buttery goodness on.

Other Thoughts: If it was a car it would be in the same class as this review was titled. Personally have a i5 3570k running at 4.5ghz, and this is just better. Much better.

5 out of 5 eggsi5 4670k

Pros: -Fast
-Fast
-Fast
-Intel

Cons: -Cost, I guess.

Other Thoughts: Upgraded about a year ago from AMD phenom ii x4 965. Night and day difference. I can't even complain about the price because it's such a powerful processor and I don't anticipate upgrading for years to come. I do hope AMD's Zen chip brings some competition into the CPU marketplace because as much as I love my CPU, I would like to see competition.
