Your PC will run cooler and quieter when you replace your CPU’s standard heatsink with a Hydro Series H55. Installation is straightforward. If you can get to the back of your PC’s motherboard, you can install H55. All you’ll need is a screwdriver and you'll be up and running in minutes. Maintenance is minimal thanks to closed-loop architecture and pre-filled coolant, which also deliver unmatched durability and reliability for worry-free use for years to come.

  • newegg Excellent Cooling Performance Step up to higher efficiency and performance of water cooling. 5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Awesome for a gaming rig. Keeps my CPU running very cool even while gaming.

Cons: Not really a con, but in some cases, the radiator might not fit. Make sure you get dimensions and see if it will fit before buying.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth It

Pros: Keeps my i7 4790 running cool even while doing some of the most demanding tasks.

Cons: A little confusing for me to mount. I have an LGA1150 but on the back side mounting bracket for the motherboard it only lists 1156 and a couple others. you just have to use the 1156 pattern and it will fit. after spending about 20 minutes trying to figure that out, the rest of the installation went fine.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommend this product!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great with LGA1151 mobo

Pros: Installed fine with the bracket under the motherboard turned slightly to match all four holes; runs quietly but keeps new overclocked i5-6600K cool as advertised.

Cons: Slightly fiddly to attach fan and radiator to case, but didn't take long.

4 out of 5 eggsFirst one clicked

Pros: Low profile, quiet, and cool.

Cons: The first one I got was good for a couple of months but then began to make a clicking noise. After RMA, the 2nd one works like a charm so far.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully this one doesn't start clicking again...especially after warranty

5 out of 5 eggsWorked as stated

Pros: Fit my LGA 1150 Motherboard fine.
Doing it's cooling job quietly.
Aesthetically pleasing.

Cons: Instructions could have been clearer. Use LGA 1156 marked holes for your LGA 1150 motherboards, the back bracket will need to be slightly turned to line up correctly.

Other Thoughts: Installed onto a an ASrock Fatal1ty Z97X Killer (LGA 1150 socket) with no issues using the LGA 1156 marked holes. Note that the bracket on the back will be somewhatturned to line up correctly.

I replaced the pre-applied thermal paste with Arctic Silver 5, but my overclocked Intel Core i5 4690K is idling at 27-30C.

4 out of 5 eggsGurgle Edition

Pros: Keeps the computer cool.
Ran Quiet in the beginning.
Works just fine.

Cons: After a few months it now sounds like.... well a pump.
Something with the ball-bearings inside or something is rattling inside.

While I see this is a common problem with this version. I have read the return policy. The problem is if we want to have it replaced, and not have down time on your system, Corsair wants to put a hold on your credit card for the part amount.

If there was some other way I would replace it, but I will deal with the noise for now.

Other Thoughts: Gurgle, clicky, clacky

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Bang for the Buck!

Pros: It was $60, and it keeps my Quad-core Xeon at 40-45°C, under load.

Cons: The stock fan is quite loud and annoying.

Other Thoughts: Honestly, if they'd have just included a quiet fan, this would be a five-star review.
