Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4 Saitek X52 Pro
Pros: > A lot of programmable buttons
> Sturdy construction
> Feels great in your hand - very ergonomic/natural feeling
> Works with every game I have used it on ( Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous, X-plane 10, X-Rebirth )
> Easy install and setup with latest drivers ( Download online )
Cons: < Short USB Cable, need an extension cable if PC is over 2 feet away.
< i Button doesn't seem to program well
< Spring on Joystick seems a little loose
Other Thoughts: Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Newegg delivered as promised. Flight stick works great. I would highly recommend buying from Newegg. Very competitive prices. Delivered on time and in great condition.

Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4 good hotas
Pros: tons of buttons. smooth operation. led brightness controls. fits my large hands good. mfd is customizable.
Cons: horrible software bugs. took me 6 hours to install the driver alone. there was a conflict between my usb 3.0 driver and the saitek driver. even plugging the stick into a usb 2.0 didn't work. ended up having to uninstall Intel usb 3.0 driver to make it work.

Categories > PC Game Controllers > Saitek > Saitek SCB432020002/02/1 Pro Flight Combat Rudder Pedals for PC

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Solid
Pros: Bought this to be used with a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS for Star Citizen. Construction is plastic but solid so far. The metal pedals are adjustable and nice. Having the Green LED activity light is reassuring. The pedals can be stuck with supplied Velcro or bolted directly to a surface. The unit reacts exactly and quickly to inputs.
Cons: It is expensive, for that I would have liked it to have less plastic and more metal.

Categories > PC Game Controllers > Logitech > Logitech G27 (941-000045) Racing Wheel

Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4 Good, but not...
Pros: Overall a great wheel, separate pedals, 6-button leather grip wheel and separate stick shift. Install was super simple, force feedback is great, etc.
Cons: After only 2 weeks of use the wheel will go out of alignment after just a few minutes of use. You can re-calibrate it by unplugging/replugging the USB but ya know, that's a pain in the middle of a long race. After researching the problem on the internet I found out it's common for the optical encoder (made of plastic) to either slip or crack.

Logitech is replacing the wheel but of course, I'm out of a wheel while it's being shipped (prepaid by Logitech) and replaced.
Other Thoughts: With one exception it's a great wheel.

Categories > PC Game Controllers > Thrustmaster > THRUSTMASTER T.Flight Hotas X Joystick

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 Entry-level HOTAS with no entry-level cons
Pros: If you think you need a HOTAS but dont need one to match you authentic cockpit-themed computer setup, or just feel the need to shell out several hundred dollars, then this one is for you.
Cons: a bit too light and therefore easily tilted off of desk
Other Thoughts: Could use more buttons

Categories > PC Game Controllers > Saitek > Saitek X52 Pro Flight Control System

Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4 It's Great
Pros: It still works after a year
It still feels fresh and not broken in or loose
Throttle is adjustable so you don't have to move it with much effort if you like it sensitive and vice versa.
Cons: The cable that connects the throttle and the joystick together is very loose and falls out VERY VERY easily. But if you're not moving your joystick around too much, you should be fine.
Other Thoughts: Some of the buttons don't work well with some games. It's not the sticks fault. I imagine with DCS every button should be configurable.

Categories > PC Game Controllers > Logitech > Logitech F710 (940-000117) Wireless Gamepad

Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2 :-(
Pros: Wireless
Size
Rumble
Rubberized grip
Good company
Cons: Range sucks from 1 foot away
The triggers are very different .
The left stick (I returned two of them) when you are using L3 would not give any feedback. It was hard to click this happened when you would be pushing the stick up all the way to the left it would not be clicked. I don't know why but its unacceptable the right stick would perform fine.
Other Thoughts: Fix this poopy problem with the sticks! For a $1.00 more you can get the wireless Microsoft controller . Just get that and be done with it already. The range is great and the controller is better and the batteries actually last.

Categories > PC Game Controllers > RAZER > Razer Tartarus Gaming Keypad

Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4Rating + 4 Compatibility and Adjustability
Pros: Compatible with most operating systems. The transferable data over their cloud is also quite impressive. The keys provide nice responsive sounds.
Cons: The thumb stick is actually just 16 buttons, it is not an actual joystick. The buttons near the stick have quite a distance.
Other Thoughts: You should add moving the mouse to the macro section so if you let go of your mouse and let the macro do its work it will draw a perfect circle or something.

Categories > PC Game Controllers > Logitech > Logitech F310 (940-000110) Gamepad

Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2Rating + 2 Good hardware, faulty software
Pros: It's great for playing things like RPG Maker games, shoot 'em ups (especially danmaku-types) or other games with a limited number of buttons that were designed for consoles on PC.

You can press a button on the gamepad to switch from primary movement being the analogue stick ot the d-pad, even when you have no software support for a game. This is the main reason I bought this controller over the Microsoft controller, and it works.

All the basic functions work out of the box, which is a good thing, because setup is nearly impossible.
Cons: The software that comes with the controller does not work. It crashes every time in some invasive search for what games you own because it is incompatible with certain types of hardware arrangements. To make the software work, you have to literally remove extra CD/DVD players or HDDs to make the software function. Worse, Logitech seems more interested in burying these flaws than answering them, as they are on a campaign of deleting threads about this topic from their support forums in spite of this being a complaint for years.

Being unwilling to physically rip my D: drive out, or my secondary DVD/R+ to try to get this working, I simply can't get the software working at all. This means the controller just doesn't work for any modern game, making it useless for playing something like GTA on PC like it were a PS2/3/4 game.

The shoulder buttons don't work at all unless you have software support. You can't even assign them keyboard buttons, as that's also part of the software support.

Logitech support has done nothing but repeatedly copy-paste steps to "solve the problem" that have failed, and deny the existence of the problem. They delete threads on their own forums for bringing the issue up.

Categories > PC Game Controllers > Microsoft > Microsoft 52A-00004 Xbox 360 Controller for Windows

Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5Rating + 5 ALL GOOD
Pros: I haven't played with a controller in a couple years since I switched to PC gaming. I must admit it is refreshing to play with a controller for some games like Assassin's Creed, Ryse, and other console ports. This controller came in good condition. All buttons work and don't stick, rumble works, sticks work. I have no complaints.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: It's just an Xbox controller.
