Pros: Seems to spray evenly without much messing around. Results so far look good [cabinet doors in white]. Also seems to be easy to clean out after you're done.
Cons: Instructions are not very clear especially viscosity checks. I am not convinced the check is worth anything and largely ignored it, instead followed the paint man. instructions. This thing is pretty loud as well.
Other Thoughts: I am not sure how this paint gun will hold up over time but I needed it for a quick reno project and it worked well for that so I'm happy with it.

Pros: Once I got the hang of using and adjusting it, I could paint large areas quickly. I painted a 12 ft. by 14 ft. shed in a little over an hour. A lot of that time was spent getting the feel of how it was spraying and adjusting my speed and distance from what I was painting. Also how much to thin the paint. Included is a cup that measures paint viscosity. If you get the paint thin enough, it will spray much better and cover without runs. If the paint is too thick, you will get runs. I had the paint sprayer set on the lowest setting and it worked great. It also cleaned up ok. The nossel is made of a plastic that latex paint does not stick to very well. The outside of the sprayer got some over spray on it and did not clean well like the nossel did.
Cons: Very little in the way of cons. There is some weight to it, so your arm may get tired if you are not used to it. Also, there is a learning period when you start spraying to get things right. I started on the back of my shed and got some runs, but by the time I sprayed the sides and front, it looked really professional.
Other Thoughts: The paint cup is not that large, so I was refilling it often. And don't worry about thinning the paint. It covered really well and I don't even need a second coat. At least that was my experience with latex paint. I have not tried stain or any other paints yet.
