Pros: Great 750 GB hard drive by Western Digital! Drive spins at 7200 rpm and is an excellent upgrade from the 160 GB drive that came with my Toshiba laptop over seven years ago.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: This review is an update from my previous review where I ran into problems with cloning the drive with the Acronis True Image WD Edition software. The problem was rectified by plugging the power cable into the Apricorn DriveWire device that I had attached between the laptop and this new drive. Once I did that, the OS recognized the drive properly and the Acronis True Image software was able to successfully clone the entire drive to this new drive. After successfully cloning the drive, I shut down the computer, removed the laptop battery, removed the old hard drive, installed the new hard drive and my laptop boots faster and the new drive runs smooth and quiet. One thing that I did notice: When I open my Google Chrome browser, my home page and other pages that were set to open when I fire it up are no longer there. Also, all of my browser extensions in Chrome had to be reinstalled. I don't know what the problem was, but it was easily rectified as well, so I am very happy with this drive and its downloadable software! I highly recommend this drive to anyone looking to upgrade their existing hard drive in a laptop computer! Kudos to both NewEgg and Western Digital!

Pros: Great initial price for a refurbished drive No problems with any of the drives
Cons: I guess I didn't buy enough
Other Thoughts: These drives work great. They are like new. I ordered a a few of them. I was going to order more but now the price is up $10 more dollars. C'mon Newegg! $50 for a refurbished 1TB is ridiculous. Keep them at $39 and I'll buy more.

Other Thoughts: I bought this hard drive in june, and got it on my birthday. The shipping was confusing because i kept getting canceled order emails. That takes 1 Egg out of 5. So far it is a really fast hard drive, had it since June 22, 2015, playing Minecraft, Garry's mod, team fortress 2. It has been running smoothly for 3 months and 13 days. I would definitely recommend this to somebody any time of the day!

Great little drive but WD's downloadable software has proprietary limitations
Pros: Product arrived in excellent condition and in superior packaging. Seems like a perfect upgrade from an older 160 GB hard drive that originally came with my Toshiba laptop in 2008.
Cons: WD Acronis True Image software for cloning the data from my non-WD hard drive to the new WD hard drive is useless as I have to have the new WD hard drive installed in the laptop in order to do anything. This means that I have to install Windows, then install the WD software, but then I might as well just back up all the data manually, remove my existing hard drive from the laptop, install the new WD hard drive into the laptop, run my restore DVDs, update Windows, reinstall all of my existing programs, restore my data from the backup media used and .....well, you know the rest of the story.
Other Thoughts: I bought this drive because of its advertised faster performance capabilities and because of the increased storage space. I originally attempted to clone the drive using an Apricorn DriveWire device and EZ-Gig software, but the software got stuck after I chose my original hard drive as the source drive and went to a black screen. I thought that the WD Edition of the Acronis True Image software might help circumvent this problem, but I am unable to install the software on my non-WD hard drive because (of course) it requires at least one WD hard drive to be installed on the computer. No eggs deducted for this issue because I purchased the drive from NewEgg and it appears to be perfectly functional. I just wanted others to be aware that the downloadable cloning software from WD's site will only work if you have a WD hard drive installed in your system.
