Pros: Uses very little system resources and extremely configurable making very easy to allow and block as needed. I use on all the systems in our house and knock on wood has keep everyone and everything safe so far and I have been using on our computers for 3+ years. Got with a product discount code for under $30 for 3 licensed copies. SWEET $10 a year for a awesome protection PLEASE!!!
Cons: Not really a con but they should make getting the physical media an option and just email of product key on software like this. See other comments.
Other Thoughts: Waiting on media and keys is really out of date and hint hint Newegg to make the shipping an option vs. a simple automated email with download link and product key info. Really all is needed is the key. Go to Eset website and download latest version and use the key and works. At least for me always has.

painful install on android device, responsive sizing of activation page hosed up, had to abort. Used desktop to create acct
Pros: inexpensive unlimited devices for 1 year The product itself, as far as AV and/or malware prevention is probably ok.
Cons: 1. mcafee's signup/activation page had crappie responsiveness for small, smartphone screens. Pop-up screens overlapping and could NOT see what was on it. [when later viewed from a desktop screen it was mcafee's attempt to get you to SIGN UP to AUTO-RENEW. Rotten sneaky pukes. NOTE: When and if I decide to stay with mcafee in a year from now, I can do a lot better on pricing than mcafee's own AUTO-RENEWAL pricing. If I don't like mcafee during my 1 year license, I might change to a different vendor.
Other Thoughts: I don't like NOT being able to see what is going on during setup. [which happened when I tried to install license #1 onto an android smart phone]. The pop-up, overlapping screens on my cell phone, put there during mcafee setup really irked me. When I moved to a desktop and saw what they were [auto-renewal signup and ONLY a CONTINUE button, ] I was even more irked. [No button for SKIP, nor an ASK ME LATER] I understand pushing out a pop-up, say in a week after initial installation, but hosing up a smartphone screen rendering, so the end user/installer cannot see what they are clicking CONTINUE to, just succks

An important addition to standard anti-virus software ...
Pros: - Does real-time protection as well as manual scans - Finds malware that anti-virus software doesn't - Includes MBytes Anti-Exploit - A bargain price
Cons: Not much (see below)
Other Thoughts: I consider this an essential component of my security software setup. It's the perfect complement to standard A/V software (I use Kaspersky Internet Security, which I also think is excellent). I would strongly recommend to anyone that they add this to their system. The only thing that isn't terrific is that when it does a full scan it does tie up the machine's resources a fair amount, but the scans don't take all that long, so it's not worth docking the rating by an egg.

Pros: - Unlimited Devices, as long as you can install to it (see Cons) - Seems to work well (see Cons) - Better than running freeware versions of anti-virus (See Cons) - Installed easily on my son's iPhone 6 - Installed fairly easily on my Windows 7 system
Cons: - Unable to install it on my Windows Phone - Slowed down my Windows 7 system considerably (both internet browsing and running programs [graphic work])
Other Thoughts: I used to like McAfee products (like 15-20 years ago) and used them at that time. I pulled away from McAfee because of other options (and lower price points) I tried and liked better over the years. I chose to try McAfee again because of the reviews it received, offered unlimited device protection and when on special, was in the price point I wanted to stay within. I am not thrilled about the service so far, and it's been a month since I purchased it. I gave the 2 egg review because 1 egg is the minimum and the 2nd egg is because even though I'm having the results I am, it's still better protection than either not having anything (such as on my windows phone, that is still without protection) or freeware antivirus/security. If I knew I was going to get the performance hit and not be able to install to my Windows phone (v 8.1) I would have went back with either Panda or AVG.
