Features
This adapter is the perfect accessory for powering any of our 12V DC LED lighting products that draw any amount of power up to 60 watts. This adapter is perfect for small to medium LED light strip installations. Converting 100-240V AC power from your home or business to 12 volt DC power is a more environmentally-friendly and energy-efficient choice. Directions: First, plug the AC cord into your power adapter. Then, plug your adapter into a wall outlet and make sure the green light comes on. Then plug the male barrel plug into a controller or your LED Light Strip's female plug! Note: Be sure to calculate the total amount of power your application requires before selecting an adapter!

4 out of 5 eggsAdequate for the purpose

Pros: Powers the LED light string made by Hitlights. I currently have two, 24 watt strings connected and so far they're working. I plan to add a portion of a third string and I'll be up to the max power rating - we'll see if it holds up.

Cons: I have this powering an LED string mounted around the perimeter of my deck outside. Although the lights are rated for outdoor use, this supply is not so I had to improvise an enclosure for it. Would've been nice to be weatherproof but probably would've made the cost less attractive.

Other Thoughts: I'd like to know how to incorporate a dimmer circuit between this device's output and the LED's. Anybody have any ideas?
