5 out of 5 eggsworks great

Pros: windows 7 32 bit pro no issues worked with out thought.

Cons: manually update driver to Xbox 360

Other Thoughts: a bit of a walk thought i just typed up to install on my windows 10x64 pro

I had a issue with windows 10 x64, I just fixed it by going into "Devices and Printers"...
clicking on the "wireless Gamepad F710" and going into the Properties. (go to the hardware tab) ...
in the properties you need to manually update the driver...
click on the "Properties" in the Device Function Summary...
you start under the General tab...
click on change settings...
you are back in a new General tab, go to the driver tab click on the update driver...
you want to Browse my computer for driver software...
this could be the right path you need C:\Windows\INF

Good Luck

5 out of 5 eggsWireless Gamepad

Pros: Grip is a little smaller than normal controllers, which is good for what I bought it for. My wife enjoys playing Nintendo games on an emulator so I got this for that purpose and she loves it. Small hands and small grip works perfect for her. I have larger hands and it works just fine still, just comparing to typical PS controller.

Cons: Took my a few minutes to get it working. Directions were a little weak. Mode switch on the controller and drivers are a touch confusing.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat gamepad

Pros: - Switch between XInput and DirectInput - Great for mapping classic games that don't use the Z Axis controls or natively mapping to and older game.
- Control sticks are nice and responsive, not too loose or too tight.
- Comes with an extension cable so that you can have the receiver at a comfortable distance (see Cons below)

Cons: - Wireless doesn't reach very far. Starts dropping signal at about 6'. Sucks if you want to sit on the couch, but it does include the extension cable so you can alleviate some of this.

Other Thoughts: I don't use the mapping software the gamepad comes with as I also have an XBox 360 for Windows controller and it won't work with the mapping software. Otherwise, this is a wonderful controller that has lasted for years. Definitely worth every penny. It takes AA batteries, so buy some rechargeable AAs and you're all set.

1 out of 5 eggsComfortable controller, terrible mandatory wireless

Pros: The controller is very comfortable to hold and has a great weight. The layout is very familiar and the and is very responsive. The D-pad doesn't feel like it will respond to old games well, but it does a great job.

Cons: The wireless drops out for a second or two sporadically every ten minutes or so. In the time it takes to reconnect, whatever buttons you were pressing, will continue to be held down. So, if you were pressing up-left on the D pad, your character will keep moving up-left, even if it means falling off a cliff. For games that aren't very interactive, this is isn't a big deal, but all action games are totally ruined by this, and it's totally unpredictable. I've tried moving the wireless unit all over, even two feet away from the controller, but nothing prevents it from dropping connection.

Other Thoughts: I would never even consider buying this unit again, but if there is a wired version of this controller, it would probably be great.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked well in the beginning.

Pros: Comfortable, easy to use, batteries last long, worked well for the first few months.

Cons: Joysticks get stuck in a constant spin frequently. Less than 4 months later I started noticing this, very distracting deal breaker when you're trying to get out of a situation or driving a car and it wants to go in a constant circle that you can't break.

Other Thoughts: Go for a different gamepad.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat in its day

Pros: Works excellent on Windows 32bit and 32 bit games. Never had an issue until the new games came out in April and May 2015.

Cons: Does not work on Windows 64bit with 64 bit games (ie Witcher 3).
Logitech website and forum says that they have no plans to update the F710 with a 64 bit driver.

Other Thoughts: Looking for a new gamepad that runs 64 bit games

3 out of 5 eggsNeed direct sight of dongle

Pros: Works well when connected
Has a toggle-able vibration feature

Cons: If the controller doesn't have direct line of sight with the dongle, then the controller will be very unresponsive.

2 out of 5 eggsWireless issues

Pros: It works, xinput switch is a good idea

Cons: The wireless is easily interrupted. The triggers can be a bit of a hassle for fighting games.

Other Thoughts: Wish I could have RMA'd, or get logitech to exachange.

4 out of 5 eggsLogitech Wireless Controller

Pros: Solid Feel
X-input for ease of use with modern games

Cons: They include the "extender cord" for a reason, the wireless connection is not so great on this controller, it seems to need a straight line of sight to the receiver.

Other Thoughts: Overall it's a good controller. As long as you use the extender and bring the receiver where the controller can "see" it, the connection will be good.
