2 out of 5 eggsBuyers Beware

Pros: NEWEGG will be my first stop for any or all of my electronic needs

Cons: The software is horrible!! As of today; 05/23/2016 the software version still remains at 1.0.0.11 that was released back in 09/19/2013. Which is one day after I purchased this M65. My middle mouse click (the scroll wheel) also stopped working.

Other Thoughts: A little <<warning>>: My review is harsh. OH I hope the $200.00 price tag is a typo!!! The software is horrible as some users have reported. The middle click (scroll wheel) had stopped working as well after about 2 1/2 years. Keep on reading all the bad reviews people because IMHO? I think they are worthy to read because if you are going spend $200.00 on a mouse, it better be in stellar condition with little to no problems what so ever. Hey Corsair, at least have some pretty blinking lights on it or throw in some stickers in the box or better yet? Put some Gold plating on it to add some bling just so we, the consumer, feel like we are getting our money's worth. Not acceptable corsair if you're going to slap a $200.00 price tag on a mouse. Good thing I still have my R.A.T. 7 mouse because this M65 is now a paper weight. I've had a ball mouse that lasted longer!!! Lastly, don't even reply Corsair by saying you are sorry for any inconveniences you have caused and to contact your support because obviously your "support" isn't being addressed by not updating your software/Firmware. Even if my M65 was in warranty I wouldn't waste my money on shipping. Even if the mouse was $50.00!! And now that the mouse is $200.00? !!YOU!! should be paying for shipping OR increasing your warranty to "Limited Lifetime". Not acceptable Corsair. Am I being to harsh because of the software/firmware and that the middle click stopped working? YEP! because now that there is a $200.00 price tag on it, I think would-be customers need to be aware of the issues that some are experiencing. GOOD LUCK! :)

1 out of 5 eggsThe M65 is a nice gaming mouse with too many problems.

Pros: The weight is perfect.
Button placement is great - the sniper button especially.
Matte finish.
Soft blue lighting.

Cons: Middle Mouse Button Defective after <1 year. (Works about once in every 6 clicks?)
Software is counter-intuitive; the UI is trash and often times the entire program will crash, leaving you without a mouse. Get used to restarting your PC.

Other Thoughts: I would NOT recommend buying this mouse. If you want a mouse with a functional wheel and customizable DPI settings, I would recommend going with Razr or a comparable competitor.

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth it

Pros: -On the fly DPI, highly sensitive]
-Forward and Back thumb buttons (perfect for playing medieval chivalry and for voice chat)
-Understated blue lighting
-Nice matte finish

Cons: -Middle click wheel button stopped working
-Sniper button too far to actually use

Other Thoughts: I've gone through a lot of mice, and it seems this one continues my bad luck streak. The middle click stopped working gradually after about a year, I could get it to work after several attempts, but now it pretty much never works (sucks having to right click on a link to open in a new tab). Also I thought the sniper button was a nifty feature, but maybe because my hands or small or because of the way I grip but it is way out of reach without moving my whole hand, this wasn't too big a deal though since you still have three levels of programmable DPI, so I use the lowest for sniping or certain games.

Conclusion: Skip this mouse, there are so many out there... my search for the perfect durable mouse continues.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst Software ever

Pros: This mouse is a really good mouse when the software wants to work. the buttons are placed perfectly, everything is easily reached and the clicks were perfect.

Cons: The software is complete TRASH. If you are a competitive person and don't want your software failing you in the middle of a battle or something don't get this. I am running W10 and I wasn't having any problems for about a month (the time it took for my return warranty to run up from best buy) and then it happened... In the middle of an arena in WoW my mouse suddenly stopped using the keybinds i set it too and i could not get them to work again no matter what I did. Reinstall, restore my windows to an earlier time, clean my registry, download the newest version of the program. Nothing worked. So after about 2 hours of messing with it I had it. Lets just say if you get this and get mad at it, the cord is VERY easily ripped out of it. Corsair im sorry but you had a sold product but your software ruins it.

Other Thoughts: Summary - Good product but no software to back up the main part of this mouse which is the button functionality.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Product but the price?

Pros: Nice big mouse works for a person with a big hand like myself.

Cons: When I had this mouse it was $50 now its $200 if you are going to pay that much for a mouse go else where because this is not worth it. This should still be $50.

It also felt like the sensor was choppy like it was trying to play a game at 10 fps compared to 120 fps

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - Great Mouse. Works as advertised.

Cons: - Have experienced connectivity issues, but that may be because of my motherboard's usb 3.0 ports rather than the mouse. Red Sniper button is rather pointless in my opinion. The button lowers the mouse DPI settings (is adjustable). Some people may find a use for it.

5 out of 5 eggsi love the mouse!

Pros: great for my type of hand posture.
still works!
the aluminum makes it really feel like a nice product!
as well as adding a good amount of weight to it, making me really happy because i hate mice that feel like feathers.

Cons: to me, there are none.

3 out of 5 eggsMouse trap

Pros: Smooth and crisp clicks nice texture but rubs off after a while. The wire is enclosed in cloth which is nice for deferring from other wires. It's program able.

Cons: A bit heavy for a mouse even with the removable weights, strange grip to it (claw) I got used to it but it was uncomfortable at first. The buttons on the side are far away from my grip and I don't have small hands

3 out of 5 eggsOK mouse hardly worth $198

Pros: I paid 50 bucks for this 2 years ago. It's OK but the current price is ridiculous.

Cons: The price
