This review is from: Seagate NAS HDD ST4000VN000 4TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s Internal Hard Drive
Pros: Fast enough, reliable, very large capacity. 7200 RPM, long warranty
Cons: None really. 3 year warranty too.
Other Thoughts: If you get a good one, and it appears that so far my 5 drives work well, you're golden. I've used them in Synology, Netgear and QNap NAS units flawlessly. As they are probably the largest sized disk that can be used reliably, this disk at a good price (I got mine for between 165 and 170) makes it a great value, only about 30 more for a drive that is somewhat more suitable for NAS units.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Worked well for me. Standard setup, home built PC with Windows 7 x64. Plugged it in and was able to get it recognized quickly. Range is actually very surprising as it gets more bars than any other mobile device I have. Has a long cord and dock to move away from the PC for better reception. I am guessing that many others having problems are either user error, incompatibilities on their own PCs or defective item.
Cons: None that I can think of. Got this at a ridiculous discount. not sure I'd want to pay $35 as it is now but it works well for what it is.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ADATA N005 Pro 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive (Gray) Model AN005P-64G-CGY
Pros: Very close to average sized usb key drive
Reasonably attractive or nondescript
Has room for a key ring if desired
Excellent speed for a ridiculously low price
Cons: Wish it were faster but you get much more than you pay for
Other Thoughts: Unless you're regularly copying files of a ridiculous size, this will more than do the job at very, very fast write speeds. As others have reported, the read speed is way faster than you need for high definition movies at 1080p 30fps. For under $50, this is a steal including the long warranty.READ FULL REVIEW
