GREAT Bargin Buy
Pros: Great buy. I have pruchased 2 of these now for customers computers. Everyone loves them and the price. Great contrast, brightness, and NO dead pixels. I definatly think this is the best sub-300$ monitor i have used. Tilt adjustment is nice for dialing in the perfect viewing angle. Wide viewing angle, dont worry about having clients/ friends/ etc. circled around your monitor, they will be able to see just fine. Low to zero reflections, on par with my $350+ dell monitors of similar size. Power button lights up blue, asthetically pleasing.
Cons: Remember its NOT height adjustable. This is nothing you should worry about as it seems to sit at a great height.

Awesome Monitor
Pros: This monitor is awesome, rich color detail and ungodly contrast and brightness. Flash bangs from CS Source are blinding. No lag at all with this monitor. Setup was wonderful.
Cons: Not all people install drivers, but you must for this one to get correct widescreen resolution, I was missing out for a while with a goofy picture.
Other Thoughts: Im thinking about buying another for a dual screen setup.

Pros: High quality monitors, no dead pixels. Haven't noticed any ghosting in games so far.
Cons: Max res of 1440x900. Otherwise none.

I like it
Pros: I really like it. It is hard to look at my other smaller monitors, let alone my work laptop. It seems like something is missing on them!
Cons: non

Nice for the Price
Pros: Nice monitor in VGA mode.
Came with 0 dead pixels!
Price is fair, though there are a few options that would be less expensive (Hanns G, for one).
Very deep, rich colors after some calibrating and tinkering.
For literature research and word processing, the extra 1440x900 of real estate is very nice, but might not be enough for graphics if your other monitor or lap-top screen is relatively small.
Nice to have 16:9 movies fill up almost the entire screen.
Cons: Took a lot of adjusting to get a satisfactory picture.
Have yet to figure out how to get a nice, clear picture at less than native resolution.
Contrast is a bit lackluster.
Other Thoughts: I am using this with an Apple iBook with SSD to allow screen spanning.

Awesome Monitor
Pros: I bought two of these, and probably the coolest thing that I had no idea about was the fact that you can plug in two different computers at the same time, its an easy switch over which makes it great for when I was updating my new computer with the old, could have it start transferring the switch over.
Cons: Not adjustable hight but not really that big of a deal

Nice and bright, Dual inputs!
Pros: Screen is nice and bright, although subtle shades sometimes seem to wash out. Software is kind of useless but dual inputs are great so you can switch between two different systems.
Cons: Highlights seem to wash out, also it's kinda low res - you might want to consider spending the extra $50 on something with more pixels.
Other Thoughts: For this price I think it should come with an adjustable stand.

Not really worth it
Pros: I bought this because I heard good things about Samsung LCD monitors. The color can be really good once you calibrate it with the software that comes with it. There's no dead pixels at all. Works with Vista and has DVI. I've never had a widescreen or LCD and was hoping this would be good.
Cons: Where do I start? There's really bad color bleeding at the top of the screen, also at the bottom but not quite as bad as the top. The ghosting is really terrible in games, which is what I primarily use my computer for. Text can sometimes get hard to read as well, or not even show up. The back panel constantly falls off even after securing it. Maybe I should tape it down..
Other Thoughts: A lot of newer games support its native resolution but if it's older then you can scale it down. (I can at least with nvidia control panel, don't know how it is without)

monitor update
Pros: Fixed! In my earlier review I rated this monitor four eggs because of issues I had with clarity and sharpness. Today I read Bootes' review and method for improving the image when using the 8 series Nvidia cards and NV Control Panel. Using his instructions I now have GREAT clarity and sharpness. A big thanks to Bootes and the Egg!
Cons: nope
Other Thoughts: Configuration with various contemporary vid cards could be included in the monitor software. Just thinking aloud.
