Works as advertised
Pros: Works well by itself, nothing too fancy, but solid
Cons: Won't work well (or at all) with any onboard Nvidia graphics in any unit I've tried
Other Thoughts: I originally bought this as a second display card for my studio computer. It didn't take long to discover that the onboard Nvidia 6150 will not cooperate with this, even if it's disabled in the BIOS. I had an occasion to try it in another computer with an onboard Nvidia 6150, and the same thing occurred. Once it was installed as a standalone card, it worked flawlessly in a unit dedicated to lightweight document processing and flash video. I didn't need anything too serious for a second display card, which is why this was my first choice. It was fortunate that I found a use for it elsewhere, as I didn't want to return something that actually works. This is one reason why I generally prefer ATI cards.

Video Cards from onboard
Pros: Speeds up an old computer
Cons: None, It is PCI after all
Other Thoughts: When you are going to a PCI card from onboard grafics windows might reconise the card but the bios will not use it untill the onboard video is disabled that is why an early review would not see the bios load. Go into the bios and disable the onboard VGA. Don't rate a product down if you don't know that the problem is caused by the product.

Solid video card
Pros: Worked great with Windows XP, Ubuntu Linux, Xubuntu Linux, and DSL Linux.
Cons: The software that accompanied the product was a little out of date. Just downloaded from the internet--no biggie

Seems to be fine!
Pros: Got for my mothers PC just for decent graphics compared to the 1999 internal chip that couldn't even produce 32 bit. Now the monitor can display as it was designed to at 32 bit, 1600x1200 and looks fine with web surfing and searching through digital pictures.
Cons: It seems to only give display once Windows is fully loaded, so if anything needs to be fixed in BIOS I have to plug the monitor back into the onboard and then put it back in the video card. Good thing my mom dosen't need to do any of that or it would be an issue.
Other Thoughts: Really, just the fact it didn't show anything from boot until Windows was loaded, is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. The visual quality is great as long as you aren't trying to play any modern games. (I actually tested it with Diablo II just for fun, and it worked fine so old games seem to be happy with it.)

Works great!
Pros: Used this card to output from computer to closed circuit TV channel. Works great! Clear signal, clear picture using the yellow composite out jack.
Cons: Has load problems which result in a flickering signal when using more than one of the outputs at the same time, especially with an LCD monitor plugged into the VGA port (card was designed for CRT monitor). I used on-board video for the monitor to lighten strain on the card.
Manual on the software disk is extremely basic.
Other Thoughts: I'm very pleased with this card. It does exactly what I wanted.

seems nice
Pros: Looks nice, comes with WinDVD. Rather cheap, 4t dollars.
Cons: Smells bad, driver is outdated.
Other Thoughts: Haven't installed it yet. The box that I was gonna put it in is dead.

Good Card
Pros: Has the capabiliy of displaying today's games in good enough quality that it does not make my eyes bleed. Halo is a good example, although this card doesnt compare to my GeForce 5500 in my other comp, which btw is XBox quality, this card renders the 3D surroundings and textured to a high enough level that the game environment looks like an environment, not a bunch of white blocks w/ black outlines that the Intel integrated graphics this replaced put out. Having S-Video out and Composite out definitely help for a good emprovised home theater (6 channel sound card, 2 stereos, TV as center, old car sub on a 500w amp connected w/ 3 different adapters (lol) to comp) Also, when getting drivers do not use the disk, goto nvidia.com and download the GeForce drivers, the Forceware software, and the nTune software. This combo allows for advanced multiple display/TV config, ocerclocking, and much more neat stuff. NVIDIA PWNS!!! AND SO DOES NEWEGG FOR GETTING IT HERE IN 2 DAYS!
Cons: Kinda outdated, but works great in my old Dell Dimension L866r
Other Thoughts: Comp Specs: Pentium 3 866mhz Intel mobo w/ 4 PCI slots and no AGP (hence why i got this card) 192MB RAM (don't laugh I'm working on getting more) Surround sound card on the way Overall works great for a secondary comp so I can pwn friends in duels
If you are looking for a cheap yet effective gfx card for a comp w/o an AGP slot get this and avoid A-T-I because their drivers R teh suxx0rz

Great, but Win98 Might Hate It
Pros: Works perfectly under KNOPPIX/Linux. Inexpensive.
Cons: The included CD-ROM drivers for Win98 didn't work. Then again, Win98 couldn't even recognize a "Fast" Ethernet PCI card either.
Other Thoughts: I bought this card so I wouldn't have to put up with a weak 2001 motherboard video.

NO low profile bracket
Pros: No idea, unable to use the card
Cons: Card won't fit into a SFF chassis, which is sort of expected of something that says "LOW PROFILE"
Other Thoughts: You'd think that a card that says "Low Profile" in its title would fit into a SFF chassis, right? Wrong. The title is misleading; while the card itself is narrow enough to fit into a SFF PC, it comes with a REGULAR sized bracket. This important fact should have been revealed somewhere in the product description, or "Low Profile" should be removed from the title!

nice!
Pros: bought this almost 2 years ago, good bang for the buck, the tv-out isnt shi* for playing games on, but good for movies, music videos,etc... anywho, this thing out runs my ATI all in wonder 128 pro by a long shot! buy it!
Cons: none, unless youre ret4rded?
Other Thoughts: havent tried the s-vid out yet, no need for it, anyway if you have a good understanding about computers, listen to me, buy this product. Newegg Egg the future!...lol egglands best? hahaha!

Good little card
Pros: Good little card for the price. Installed in a PIII 600 for the composite and S-Video outputs. The computer it went in is not very fast so I can't comment on it's performance but it's definately not for gaming. Fan is very quiet and does not make a high pitched noise like many small fans. The card looks good and the ports feel solid. I'm going to transfer this card over as a 2nd card in the Opteron 144 system I'm building so I can still have the composite and s-video outs. I'm going to be using a 7800GT for a main card.
Cons: GPU surface is concave and heatsink is far from straight. When I got the card first thing I did was remove the cooler just to check it out. There was a tiny dab of thermal compound on the center fo the GPU and it did not even make contact with the cooler. I added some more compound and now the heatsink works.
Other Thoughts: Installed in an old Compaq Deskpro EN PIII 600 and I initially had some issues with this card when in the first PCI slot. I moved it to slot 2 and the card worked fine after the drivers reinstalled. Computer stays on 24/7 as a web server and card has not hiccuped.

Superb
Pros: DDR Mem, MX400 chip, PCI interface, Fan on the heatsink, which was good because the only other fan in the comp is the power supply fan and the case is tiny.
Cons: none it is what it is. It is not for Doom III, Fear or anything like that.
Other Thoughts: Old friends had a little Dell L700CXE that they used for email and reading newspapers online and keeping up with their alma mater's basketball teem. It was slow and almost useless using AOL 9.0 because it had too little memory and the OS was defective. It only had 1MB of Vram mem. So with a reformat and a new XP OS and triple the ram and this video card the comp is better than when new in every way. Downright speedy! Pages load with a POP like never before. Apps come up with elacrity. This card works flawlessly although there was no visual on screen while XP was recognizing it and appling drivers but you could hear the sounds it makes when in that process. Then with a reboot all was fine and could load software from the supplied disk. Win DVD is a nice freebee. The extra ram was Mushkin 990614 PC-133, 256MB and this card with 64 MB of vram and some tweeks in the os and with the aol software and PC-Cillin antivirus and Firewall instead of the a-v that aol uses, life is good.
