Great card at a decent price
Pros: it runs all the latest games and programs like !!MAD!!! and i love it sence its and ATI
Cons: it does run hot after a while but it is fixible
Other Thoughts: if anyone has this card and hate the heat it generates try the ATI TOOLS program you can ajust the fan spped with it and cut the temp down to 45C or 40C

Best bang for your buck
Pros: Play any game on the market for the next year or three. Any game out right now runs perfect at maxed out settings. For the price, this card will last a long time beofre you need to upgrade.
Cons: Bulky, runs hot, takes extra power.
Other Thoughts: I have built a few systems using this card. Everyone that has one of those systems was in awe at the graphic capability.

Still lovin' this card
Pros: It is still a super fast single card. It blows away the X1950Pro that I have in one of my other machines on 3DMark 06. It is still the only card with GDDR-4 and well worth the price, which hasn't changed much in the 6 months that I have owned this cards.
Cons: Runs pretty hot even at default clock settings.
Other Thoughts: I like the way that ATI cards render things better than I do nVidia. I think they are sharper and more realistic. ATI's support could use a little work. They are a little slow at answering tickets submitted on their website.

Not what it says it is
Pros: You cannot have a like for something that is not what it says it is. What I got is not what I ordered.
Cons: When you get this card make sure that it has VIVO. The one I received does not. Look at the picture & the cables. The box even states it has Composite & S-Video cables and does not. This is too much money to just let this go.
Other Thoughts: New Egg must make this right for everyone that ordered this item because I am working with AMD/ATI and it appears they will not. Besides all this I bought this so that I could do the VIVO stuff.

Excellent Card
Pros: This card is excellent. I run all the latest games on the best settings. This card does tend to get hot, but I have had this card for 5 1/2 months now, and my pc has never crashed from this thing getting too hot.
Cons: Gets a little hot. Gets me worried at times, but other then that, none.
Other Thoughts: Running the following system: e6700 Dual Core, 74gb Raptor, 600w Enermax PSU, ATI radeon 1950XTX, X-Fi XtremeMusic, P5N32 Sli-SE Deluxe Mobo, 2gb Mushkin RAM. RUNS FLAWLESS

Very happy with this one!
Pros: Rendering at its best! I cant wait to see their answer to the DX10 competition. DDR4 makes it a fast, formidable competitor.
Cons: Well I guess that its not a DX10 card, but thats about it.
Other Thoughts: I have been a long-time ATI customer. In my personal opinion they make very nice vid cards.

best dx9 card
Pros: everything. if you cant wait and need a upgrade get this card if u can afford, but if u wanna wait a couple of months for a good dx10 then wait for ati's card.
Cons: none, prices went down alot when i bought it :(
Other Thoughts: people flaming this card about how it sucks compared to a 8800 is stupid, no s*** ur comparing a dx9 to a dx10, when ati comes out with its dx10 its going to be 10 times more beastly Nvs. compared to the ati dx10, the 8800 is a joke

Good card; poor drivers
Pros: Great graphics, typical ATI quality and compatibility; lots of ram; cooling system exhausts through PCI slot; support people answer phone and speak English.
Cons: Flaky driver issues (black screen of death) on some new systems going back to December '06 as yet unresolved by ATI; card uses space of two slots and power hungry.
Other Thoughts: ATI has been aware of glaring driver issues with this product since late last year; had I not found a fix for BSOD at abxzone.com I would have returned mine for refund.

Forget about games
Pros: The only computer game I play is solitaire. Instead, I maintain a basement of dedicated machines running Stanford's Folding At Home and one box with a pair of these and a decent C2D CPU are pumping out results (and points) like there's no tomorrow.
Everyone else will tell you how they do with games but, if you're in it for science, these cards are the price/performance sweet-spot now and for the immediate future.
Cons: Size and power demands are downright silly.

Good Cards
Pros: I've used several of these cards on various builds and they've all worked very well on the systems.
Cons: Not a con, but beware of the size. 1) These are long and wide graphic cards and on some mobos they can block the SATA ports. 2) On some mobos the back of the graphic card is so close to the RAM-clasps that you have to remove the graphic card in order to swap RAM. 3) On nearly all mobos they will block adjoining PCI slots. 4) The clasps on the PCIe x16 slots can be difficult to reach when you have to remove these cards. But this is tru with all big graphic cards, not just these.
Other Thoughts: I've used them on 1-monitor, 2-monitor, 4-monitor, and 1-monitor CrossFire systems. I never had any technial problems with ATI. Just be SURE you select the appropriate mobo for what you want to do!!!

Geforce 8800GTX > Any card
Pros: Afforrdable...but A single Geforce 8800GTX is better than Radeon X1950XTX and yes it's a fact. Look it up anywhere. There are so many benchmarks proving this. Let alone 2 Geforce 8800GTX are unstoppable
Cons: Get a Geforce 8800GTX OR GTS. They are both better in every single aspect. I own all a radeon X1950XTX, geforce 88000gts, and a geforce 8800gtx. and Both geforce are better. Aagain if you don't believe me look it up on gooole you will find dozens of benchmarks to prove my point. Don't let some idiot tell you this card is better than a geforce 8800GTX. That is nonsense. You deserve the truth.

Great Card
Pros: Great graphics, can run all games on max settings, AA & AF. Card is quieter than others from ATI. Will overclock with CCC easily but really not no noticibly difference in performance.
Cons: Extremely large & heavy. Runs idle @ 76c and fully loaded 80c which seems a little high to me. You can however run ATI Tool, ATT or Riva tuner to adjust fan speeds and at 50% fan it runs idle @ 48c, loaded @ 65-70c. No overclocking tools available yet.

Pros: Runs cool, quiet, and great. Plays all games at max settings. But thats a given considering the amount it costs.
Cons: Make sure you have room it is a big card.
Other Thoughts: Power is the only thing that could pose a problem. Make sure your power supply can handle.

Great card XLARGE
Pros: Nice card, fast easy to install and great costumer support. You dont have to worry to much about over heating because the fan and heat sink are monsters.
Cons: HUGE card BEWARE!!!!!!!!! ubstructs my motherboard fan, makes in unusauble but i have enough case fans so i hope it dosnt mess stuff up. Also make sure your case can hold it, mine barley holds on to it, it also is very heavy and bulky, barley fits. You cannot adjust the fan speed, card runs VERYHOT, you can feel the heat radiating from it. POWER HUNGRY, make sure you get a big enough PSU. I
Other Thoughts: I really wish that i had bought the pro version, the heat sink is big, but it runs everything nice it does what it says just make sure your going to have the room.

Much quieter than the 1900XTX
Pros: RADEON CONTINUES TO MAKE OUTSTANDING GRAPHIC CARDS. THE CORE CLOCK AND SPEED ARE FAST AND VERY STABLE OVERCLOCKING IT. THE FAN IS ALSO SILENT COMPARED TO THE 1900XTX, WHICH SOUNDED LIKE A JET ENGINE ON TAKE OFF.
Cons: THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS WITH THE CROSSFIRE, WHY CAN'T THEY MAKE SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE BULKY ON THE OUTSIDE? THE OTHER THING IS IF YOU WANT TO USE AN EXTENDED MONITOR YOU HAVE TO DISABLE THE CROSSFIRE.
Other Thoughts: I BUY THIS OVER NVIDIA ANYTIME I'VE HAD MY EXPERIENCE WITH NVIDIA AND ITS JUST PLAIN AWFUL.

Pretty warm, but good card
Pros: Good performance improvement. Crossfire-able. Solid.
Cons: Fan speed setting seems to be set for quiet, not cool. You can change this speed with a 3rd party tool, but it becomes noiser as the speed goes up. No DX10.
Other Thoughts: Be some time before enough software titles are Vista/DX10, and in the interim I understand Vista will have "DX9L" support.

Okay
Pros: This card is really and gives blazing FPS.
Cons: It will not perform as good as my 8800 GTX. Crossfire may be faster a little but I'll rather pay 600 for a 8800 GTX than 2 x 450 for Crossfire 1960 XTX Wait for prices to go down or get yourself something that is future proof in the upcoming gaming industry.Crossfire of these will never be able to perform as well as a card with 128 stream processors and 384-bit memory interface, and DX 10 support

wait a lil
Pros: It's a fast card and looks great. Running in Crossfire they smoke Nvidia 8800s or anything else they're compared to.
Cons: It isn't running on DirectX 10. So when Vista comes out you have to get a new card.
Other Thoughts: Although this is definitly the best card on the market right now it would be smarter to wait until the 2nd generation Direct X 10 cards come out.

Fast and quite...
Pros: Amazing frame rate in first person shooting games, the card runs quite. I didn't check the temperature, but I think it would be louder when it gets hot. I used the latest drivers and the Catalyst software without any hickups. The card can drive two monitors, which I have not tested yet but getting there.
Cons: This card is looong, thick, and it blocked one of the HDD slots; more because it is so long.
Other Thoughts: ATI will make me spend more money on a larger LCD panel; my 19" one is too small now.

first build gamer
Pros: It is an impressive looking card. Very quiet. I still need to get better memory. It runs my 1st shooter games great on high settings, but I can't to match it up with fast memory
Cons: none yet
Other Thoughts: after i up the memory and might go crossfire.

BIG
Pros: Very, very fast. MaxPC and others have said to wait for DX10 parts like 8800. Whatever...by the time most games take full advantage of DX10 you will probably be looking to upgrade to something anyway
Cons: Really, Really LONG. You better have no clutter all the way from the PCIE slot all the way back.
Other Thoughts: Be sure you are OK with your power supply. I had an An**c 550 with a single 400 GB HD, Audigy 2 and an X2 4800 CPU. I got random complete system shut-downs about 20 seconds into loading any good game that I wanted to run. And yes, that was after purging all old video drivers and loading the latest driver version. So I bought a PC P***r and C*****g 750 and all is happiness and light.

Pros: it will run almost any game i have on highest settings
Cons: it's very, very large, like i'm talkin it is as lkong as your mobo is wide, i had to move my hard drives

Absolutely blown away
Pros: This is by far the best vid card i have ever owned. No game even comes close to challenging this card, at least none that i have played (bf2142, FEAR, hl2)
Cons: 1. It runs HOT, but it is designed that way, hence the huge heatsink/fan mount. 2. sometimes the fan speed changes and it gwts a little annoying, but that is is not loud at all. infact MUCH more quiet then the x1900xtx 3. Very Pricey, but you do get your money's worth for the most part
Other Thoughts: If u are looking to drop some cash on a good card, this is a great choice.

Cons: Runs a little hot but I expected it to.
Other Thoughts: Installed on a Asus P5W DH Deluxe Motherboard.

Pros: Phenomenal performance. ATI reliability and customer support.
Cons: Big big card. Not only wide but long too. Make sure the end of the card isn't going to obtruct anything on your MB. Surprisingly little documentation but of course, being ATI, you can call and actually talk to someone if you need help.
Other Thoughts: This is not a Crossfire Edition Card. Pretty much all ATI cards are Crossfire capable BUT you will need a Crossfire Edition 'MASTER' card to enable crossfire mode. At the time of this writing Newegg does not carry the ATI brand Master card.

Gendoom are you sure?
Pros: It may be high priced, but this thing screams!
Cons: ATI needs to make its own adaptive fan speeds rather than make the user search for their own software to do this
Other Thoughts: Gendoom Are you sure that it isn't your processor? In a game like medieval two there are many different units on screen at once. Each one has to use some kind of AI, which in large scale battles would be affected far more by the processor then by the video card.

The good, the bad and the ugly
Pros: Say goodbye to chug and say hello to detail. As a gamer the first thing I did was put it through the ringer. Set all my games on max detail and discovered brand new worlds.
Cons: This card runs a bit hot (72-79). I also dismissed the high cost of the card by telling myself that I only purchase one of these things every 3 years.
Other Thoughts: I have yet to install the 2nd card, simply because I don't feel that I need it. All my games run fine. I'm running an AM2 chip with 2gb of ram and haven't had any issues at all.

Good, but end of the line?
Pros: This is definitely a good, high end card. Now that the updated Catalyst drivers are out, previous support issues are not as much of a problem. Runs Oblivion with everything turned on perfectly indoors, though with some noticeable slowdown in heavy areas.
Cons: Does run hot, but it's because of the very low default fan speeds, which Catalyst Control Center won't let you change. Also probably one of the last DirectX 9 cards, so the XTX may not be worth the price as perhaps the PRO version. The card can also be on the loud side under load when the temps get high.
Other Thoughts: The card idles hot because the fans are set to a pitiful 13% by default (as checked via ATITool). Setting fanspeeds can be done via 3rd party software, but I feel that it -should- be allowed in Catalyst.

Cons: disapointed that it can be stoped already
Other Thoughts: overall good card lil down about this please commit on the matter

Awesome graphic card
Pros: I haven't tested frame rates, but it runs everything without a glitch, even at 1600x1200.
Puts out good color graphics, zero flicker.
Catalyst control panel is good, with a decent to good monitor you can create a color profile for accurate graphics and photographic work.
Cons: Puts out plenty of heat, you can feel it at the rear discharge vent (could be a pro in a cold room). The single most expensive part of my computer, aside from the NEC Multisync.
Other Thoughts: MB - Asus P5 DH Deluxe *** CPU - Xeon 3060 Conroe 2.4GHz *** RAM - CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 *** CPU Fan Zalman CNPS9500 fan *** 2 Hard drives - WD1500ADFD Raptor *** Video Card - ATI X1950XTX *** Case - COOLER MASTER Centurion 534 RC-534-KKN2-GP *** Power Supply - FSP Group (Fortron Source) AX500-A *** DVD burner – Samsung SH-S182D

Pleased
Pros: Performance--runs everything maxed out and achieves very good FPS--usually above 55-60, never below 30, even on FEAR and Oblivion. Quiet unless pushed hard
Cons: Very power hungry, very heavy, when the fan kicks up to the higher speed, it's very loud relatively speaking.
Other Thoughts: Installed with drivers on the CD as of 11.16.06 and immediately ran FEAR and other games maxed out with no difficulty or tweaking needed.

Smokin'
Pros: The performance of this card is excellent, it crushes the games I play most (CS:S, LOMAC).
Cons: This thing is massive, I wasn't expecting it to be so huge and heavy.
Other Thoughts: Price is high but the performance is worth it if you have the $$$.

NICE!
Pros: I play every game I got 1440x900 with 4x AA and 16x AF with everything maxed out and never goes below 30 fps and it usually stays above 60 fps. FEAR seem to make it chug the most at these settings but it stays playable.
Cons: DX10 cards are here and the 8800 gtx blows this card away. I'm in no hurry to get vista and the 8800 is $200 more.Seems like it should be cheaper at this point.
Other Thoughts: It plays all my games well and will probably rock any games coming out in the next couple of years. Perfect card for my 1440x900 display. The 8800 would be overkill at the resolution I play at with the games that are out now. Hopefully this card supports some or all of the DX10 features which would be cool.

WOW
Pros: This card is un real for game play! Everything from videos to pictures looks better. Its is worth every penny.
Cons: BE CAREFUL!!!! You need a PCI Express power supply. All the details and books for this thing tell you that it comes with a cord to hook up to any power supply. After an hour on the phone with ATI they told me that the book it came with was wrong and I had to buy a new one. This is the only down side!

Awesome Video Card
Pros: Best video card i've ever owned. Have not found a game i cannot max out yet. Also new catalyst 6.10 now supports this card.
Cons: drivers have yet to positively identify the card correctly. before 6.10 was released spent over hour before i realised had to use driver from disc
Other Thoughts: Card is a beast but the cooler is very nice. Nice upgrade from X800 XL AGP.system, E6400, 2 GB Corsair, MSI P965, 250 GB Western SATA, Samsung Sata DVD Burner, Liteon DVD ROM, Antec Trio 650 watts

Fantastic
Pros: I replaced my 7900 GTX with this card and what an amazing improvement. AMD and ATI are together now so if you use an AMD processor and love to game big time, this is the card.
Cons: nothing

A beast!!
Pros: This card is a beast. It has handled anything I have thrown at it. I have yet to find a game that brings the card to its knees. It also looks very nice and doesn't make as much noise as I originally thought it would.
Cons: It is a bit pricey, but for guys like me who are trying to build a high end computer system, then price isn't really a big deal. It is a pretty big card, but for what I paid for it, I would be very disappointed if it didn't weigh as much as it did. It runs slightly hot(about 52 C idle) but it is not something to do a whole bunch of worrying about.
Other Thoughts: All and All, an awesome card. Make sure you have a power supply that comes with a 6 pin connector, otherwise you are gonna be a little upset. If you don't have a power supply like that, spend the little extra money and get a power connector for it. Also, once the price drops on these bad boys, I will buy the crossfire master card so I can crossfire these babies.

Missing Power Cable
Pros: It LOOKS like it'll be a great card ONCE I get it to work...
Cons: Did not have the 6-pin PCI power cable needed to run the unit. The pic on NewEgg shows the cable, but the box description makes no mention of it, nor does the ATI Website... it should be included since you can't use the card without it!
Other Thoughts: No fault of New-Egg, just an error from ATI. I would suggest that people spend the extra $2.99 to get an additional power cable just in case. I noticed that another user had the same problem.

Make sure you have a 6 pin power connector
Pros: Since I have not been able to use it yet, I can not give an oppinion.
Cons: The only manufacturer that does not include a standard 4 pin power plug adapter to the 6 pin one on the GPU.
Other Thoughts: Check your power supply and make sure you have a 6 pin connector. I have a 1 year old 520W OCZ power supply and it does not have one. If you do not have one, order part number N82E16812189120 which is the adapter that every other manufacturer includes with their product. You would think that they would include a $3 product so that their product can be used by the vast majority of the populace. The only other place to get this adapter is a popular electronics store, but not avail in stores. You can order it online with a 2-3 day shipping date.

Very Nice
Pros: Fast.
Cons: Only worked with the packaged drivers until the cat 6.10's came out. Didn't realize it for awhile, and thought something was wrong with my setup for a few weeks. Only latest drivers you can use with this card are the 6.10's and up.
Other Thoughts: Great cooler on these models, but still gets in the high 60c's under stress in a very well ventilated rig, and cool basement.

Best Card On Market
Pros: Upgrading from 2 7800gtx SLI rig, This card is absolutely amazing. Is actually alot quieter than I expected(based on hearing about the x1900). Plays every new game on the market 1600x1200 or higher wither everything cranked.
Cons: None. The card very big, but I was expecting that.
Other Thoughts: People say not to purchase a card yet and to wait for dx10. I say don't listen to them. Sure dx10 will be great but who is really going to get Vista at launch and expect everything to be perfect? We all know it will take time for the technology to get polished, and the 2nd gen dx10 cards will be not only better/faster, but by that time there will actually be enough games to justify the upgrade. My sources say that won't be until March-April. Thats a long time from now in the technology world.

Cons: Gets really hot. but nothing that thermalright can't fix ;)
Other Thoughts: if you have the money. get this card it's worth it.

wow
Pros: Battlefield 2 I play at 1152x864, max settings with 4x aa and get 50-100 fps and it floats around 80 fps. Fear I play at 1152x864 4x aa, 16x af, high setting with shadows on medium and it plays 30-60 fps and it stays mostly in the 50-60 range with vsync on. Pretty impressive and looks great. Quake 4 I play at 1280x960, Ultra quality, 16x aa with everything cranked and it stays at a solid 60fps. Amazing.
Cons: None really other than the price. You'll need a good processor, a good power supply and 2 gigs of ram to make this thing fly. It's probably the biggest video card I have ever seen.Needed to use the driver that came with the card. The latest driver off the internet was not compatible.
Other Thoughts: I never play any games over 1280x960 since my moniter doesn't support anything much higher so I don't know how it would perform under higher resolutions. If you want the fastest ati video card on the market here it is.If you can't wait for dx10 and you have to have the best this is about as good as it gets (single processor). Makes my old 7800 co apg card look like a old turtle. Ati is the way to go.

Updated review
Pros: Card is still the fastest single GPU card on the market, and the only card to boast the GDDR4 status. BUY THIS CARD!
Cons: I've been over this with ATI technical support, and the card DOES not support the newest Catalyst drivers (6.8 & 6.9). You MUST use the drivers that came bundled with the card, and wait for Catalyst 6.10 to be released. Also, this card is CROSSFIRE COMPATIBLE, IT IS NOT A CROSSFIRE CARD! The crossfire card has a different connector on the expansion side of the card that replaces the 1st DVI output connector. This card WILL work in a crossfire setup, but dont buy 2 of these cards and expect to run crossfire!
Other Thoughts: I was told by the ATI technician that once those 6.10 drivers hit the download server, this card will put every other card on the market to shame (excluding crossfire and SLi setups). We should expect to see the Catalyst 6.10 drivers available by the middle/end of October to early November if they cant get all the bugs out.

Excellent
Pros: Lays waste to demanding games, delivers great image quality, superior (but not fantastic) cooler. Heck, it even looks nice!
Cons: Price... but look who is in the market for these cards. Sensibility? We will have no such trivialities.
Other Thoughts: Let's hope this $xx rebate comes quick enough!

Vista does not require DX10 cards
Pros: Good revision on the best single GPU setup currently made. I've been running an x1900XT (overlcocked to 670/1600) since Feb 06 and it has proven to be the best investment I've ever made in computer gear. Enabled 1600x1200 smooth play on virtually every game I've thrown at it (Quake4 I had to crank down to 1280x1024 to keep 4xAA and 8xAF enabled).
Cons: Not sure if card can be run in Crossfire mode with the predecessor (x1900) generation.
Other Thoughts: Just wanted to clarify an apparent misconception here: Windows Vista does not require a DX10 card. Their WDDM driver works just fine with DX9 series cards. Also, be aware that the chief addition to the DX10 specification set is a new focus on using shader processors over pixel processors. These cards, though not DX10 compliant natively, are designed with heavy shader use in mind and will likely be software compatible with DX10. I've used my x1900XT with every Beta release thus far and the card has not had any problems. The latest RC1 driver from ATI is also a good step up fro mthe last Beta 2 driver. Game performance has improved a bit, but likely, older games will never run as well on Vista as they do on XP, because of the difference in the driver architecture. This should not be an issue once you start seeing games programmed specifically to take advantage of the WDDM structure.

Great Quality but no Horse Sense
Pros: This is a great video card that stops at no boundries to please the user. Weather your a gammer or even do some light CAD work.Extremely fast on the fly in D3D but somewhat behind Nvidia's flag ship in OpenGL. Many useful options and the congurator is user friendly.Colors and shading are tops. Not very OC in percantage's compared to other models but hey i believe in stock options which generaly calculates to longevity.
Cons: Too Pricey especially at this point in time wouldn't you think with Direct 10 soon to be released which will gladly i may add justify these high prices of this type of purchase.
Other Thoughts: Little "FOOD" for tought...Very MOOT in this point in time to evem justify such a high cost with the new Technology "soon" to be released in respect to Direct10 and the new acrchitecture thats being implemented. Time??? time is every thing when your spending this type of lotto.Hard to justify no matter what color horse you're riding !!!

burn fat, gain muscle!
Pros: Fastest single-processor card on the market. Cooling system is most effecient and quiet yet seen by ATI. Only card to boast the GDDR4 status (that I know of).
Cons: This bad boy is HEAVY! I know I must have burnt 1500 calories just carrying it from the box to my desk! Also support for this card is still in its infancy, so dont expect all the overclockers and drivers to work with it yet.
Other Thoughts: If you upgrade your card every time there is an upgrade in the DirectX versions, you may just want to spend $xxx less and get an X1900XT(GT)/X1900XTX which uses the same processor just less memory.

he meant its power- he knows its not dx10
Pros: This think funs gddr4- this is basically so that you can overclock it, it only get a 10% performance boost out of the box over the x1900xtx, but you can OC the memory to EVEN HIGHER levels without igniting your computer. Much quieter then the x1900- trust me on this one. it might be worth the extra money just because you wont wake your parents up bu using your comp.
Cons: well in a couple months DX10 cards are coming. If you've seen any vista previews/benchmarks it looks like us DX9 guys are gonna have a fit when we upgrade.
Other Thoughts: the guy before was questioning it's dx10 POWER. he knew it wasnt dx10. and i would be a little hesitant to jump to vista with any of these cards the second it comes out. if you have a pentium 4 and are planning to get vista ASAP- do not get this card. in fact throw out your proc- but thats another story : )

Great Graphics Card
Pros: Best graphics card I ever had.
Cons: I installed this into a new pc which did not come with any graphics card but the X1950XTX does NOT work unless the drivers are installed first! How can I install anything without a functional graphics card??? Had to buy another card so I could get my monitor working to install the drivers! Otherwise, I would have given it an Excellent rating instead of good. Maybe it's just me, but did anyone else in this situation have the same problem?

My first ATI card...
Pros: I upgraded from an AGP 8X system with a 6800 GT OC card. I also bought a new CFX3200 chipset Mainboard and a more powerful PC P&C PSU to run this thing. This runs all my games at better quality than before. Lots of features in the Catalyst Control Center, so I’ll be tweaking this monster for some time to come. Fun, fun!
Cons: This card is NOT a CrossFire "Ready" card, as I was led to believe, it is a CrossFire card and there is a big difference! I found out the hard way, after seeing there wasn't the *crossover connector in the box and after calling ATI to find out why. If you look closely at the specs, it doesn't include the *power connector, which is actually the *Crossfire MASTER connector. ATI told me that the Master cards haven't been released yet, due out sometime in October, but I could still get a Master card in the X1900 series if I wanted to run Crossfire. What a disappointment, since if I had known that I would have saved money and bought the Sapphire X1950XTX instead, then matched it to an ATI Master once they came out!
Other Thoughts: If NewEgg had advertised this as being a CrossFire "Slave" card, I would have given it 5 stars, but then no one else advertises them this way so I can't really fault NewEgg. They do tell you up front that they’re not technicians, but only Customer Support, so I don’t hold them responsible. That’s why I rated my understanding of this product as a 4 too, since I didn’t realize the difference either. Be sure to use the enclosed Catalyst drivers on the CD, or you will get the INF error. Catalyst 6.9 drivers are NOT as recent as this card, the ones on the CD are actually newer drivers for the X1950XTX, so be warned. I've been using nothing but NVIDIA cards since 1999, so going with ATI was a first for me. Still learning, just like so many others. I’m just trying to save others the pain of finding out the hard way, that this is a very new card even by ATI standards. The CD drivers work beautifully and they're made for this card.

Pros: It's a beast. Upgraded from an x850 Pro 256mb/256bit, and I can finally max out my settings without feeling like i'm watching a slideshow.
Cons: My uzi weighs a ton? :D This thing added a few pounds to my case, as if it wasn't heavy enough as is!

Not bad
Pros: Does what is expected. Better benchmarks than the X1900 XTX.

Wooo Weee Awesome
Pros: Very nice card. Extremely fast. F.E.A.R. FPS test w/ Everything MAX and 4x AA 94% above 40 FPS the minimum frame rate was 38! Unbelievable card! If you have the cash GET it. ATI rules!
Cons: DO NOT, i repeat do not use the new 6.8 or 6.9 catalyst drivers from ATIs web page! This card is not supported by them(Card is too new). Use the CD that came with the card, trust me. I got my info directly from ATI. (I am useing XP 64 as well, so dont worry bout that one lol) No Crossfire Master Card yet:(
Other Thoughts: Intel Core 2 Extreme, Asus P5W DH Deluxe,ATI X1950XTX, 2 Gigs Corsair XMS Pro 2 DDR2 800, 150gig Westen Digital Raptor 10,000RPM Hard Drive 600 Watt OCZ gameXtreme PSU.

GDDR4
Pros: Bought it from somewhere else but I will review it here...
GDDR4 allows higher bandwidth. This card comes with 1000MHz on the memory, 2000MHz effectivley with DDR. Thats insane
Cons: The processor its self didn't change and this is really just an enthusiast's card. Computer junkie more like it. Doesn't perform better than a 7950GTX
Other Thoughts: Give it time. ATI is one of the first companys to incorperate GDDR4. They will only use it in their higher end cards initially but the technology will become more widely available and within a year 1.5GHz on video ram will be a norm with higher end cards.

Nice card, not a DX10 card!
Pros: Performs flawlessly.
Cons: Price tag, but a brand new item so expected.
Other Thoughts: Another reviewer wrote "Directx10 power is still questionable..although it says on box it is vista ready". 'Vista Ready' does not mean its a DX10 card, DX10 cards do not exist right now. Please do not rate your understanding of the product as high when it clearly is not.

Runs Great
Pros: Runs Everquest 2 on Extreme Quality with about 15 - 20FPS, or high quality with much higher fps. HL2 is extremely smooth, much faster than my previous card.
Cons: Had some driver issues with the included drivers (v6.8). Installed the beta Catalyst 6.9 drivers and it fixed everything.
Other Thoughts: If you have an NForce 4 Mobo, there is a conflict that causes issues. They have a hotfix on their website, but it doesnt work as of when i tried it. Installing the new 6.9 drivers fixed everything for me though.

Great
Pros: GDDR4, amazing speed great detail runs at 70C full load at 700/2200 with a 120MHZ PCIE frequency replaced stock junk with Artic Silver 5 Can't complain.
Cons: Directx10 power is still questionable..although it says on box it is vista ready...So who knows. Limited driver support also...I'm almost certain it will clock higher but Overdrive only supports a max off 700/2200 at the moment and the ATI tool is in beta stages...
Other Thoughts: Great buy for the price...although I didn't get it here

AWESOME
Pros: Very Powerful card, well made, lots of options.
Cons: HEAT!! This card idles between 58-62C!!! No official driver support from ATI. Catalayst 6.8 doesnt recognize card. Certain games such as Oblivion cant detect card properly, resets options everytime you start.
Other Thoughts: Don't let this things discourage you.. all will be sorted out shortly by ATI.

Where's The Beef?
Pros: Nice But...Where's the Crossfire Edition for this?
Cons: Still need the cable, When is ATI with today's Technology gonna get away from the cable.
Other Thoughts: Can Only go without cable with 1300 and 1600, now if that can be done WELL.....Need I say more!
