Good Product and Rebate Came
Pros: It works great. It has a long cord. It has external power.
Cons: It has bright LED lights biult in (can be annoying if you watch movies on your PC.
Other Thoughts: After being a person who skimped on cheap USB hubs for years (I thought this was simple technology and all were pretty much the same), I have experienced some strange and sometimes worrying behavior from no-name cheap hubs... I finally spent the money on a USB hub and am happy I did.

A great product!
Pros: This is an AC powered unit. Plenty of USB ports. Easy to connect on front of hub.
Cons: Product description does not indicate it is powered by external AC.
Other Thoughts: Great value, good construction, works as advertised - plug and go in Vista Ultimate.

Rocks!
Pros: My previous 6-port hub blew in less than a year so I was reluctant to get another 'Bellquin.' Shoulda stayed with D-Link from the very beginning. I have absolutely no problem with this Hub: Speed is good, no data delays with the connected peripherals and I can actually have all 7 ports connected and STILL no issues. Satisfied big time with this, especially given the price. Like the 'stream-lined' look and grey/black skin instead of stark white.
Cons: Can't think of any.
Other Thoughts: Thanks New Egg for snagging great prices. When the need arises for a new 'toy' - i gotcha bookmarked as #1.

pretty good deal
Pros: The fact that it is powered (active hub) is a very good thing; passive hubs are almost worthless, I've never been able to get a passive hub to work reliably with any of my hardware.
Cons: Nothing to speak of.
Other Thoughts: Whenever you buy a hub, make sure it is an active (powered) hub, otherwise you'll be out of luck for most devices you plug into it.

Never a problem
Pros: Never have to reset, never a problem
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Wish that the LED lights on each port only lit up when a device was connected.

Arrived broken
Pros: Speed of delivery was Newegg excellent. Six of the seven ports was functional out of the box.
Cons: One of the seven ports was physically broken - the white piece inside the connector fell out.
Other Thoughts: I am processing the RMA and ordering a replacement.

Does the job
Pros: Works very well with most of my devices.
Cons: My Dell printer would get confused when plugged into it for too long. I had to switch the printer to a direct connect.

Somewhat useful
Pros: It is a good design and having 7 ports in one place is very useful
Cons: This one does not recognize all of my external hard drives. I also have a 4 port D-Link and it does not recognize all the drives either. If the drives are plugged directly into the computer or another hub that is connected to the computer, all drives work OK.
Other Thoughts: If I could find a similar hub from another manufacturer, I would try it. This design is far superior to those odd ball devices with wierd shapes.

Works as advertised, rebates a hassle
Pros: 7 green lights and sporting a 2-tone gray paint job. Seriously, what can one say about a USB hub these days? It's a powered hub, has 7 ports, and does what it was advertised to do. Enough said.
Cons: Rebates are a hassle and D-Link loves them. I'd be happy if they just dropped the rebate thing and reduced the price.
Other Thoughts: This hub is like a lot of other hubs. -1 egg for the annoying rebate just so the price is on par with other comparable hubs.

Good Hub
Pros: Worked for years. Easy set up. Only reason I got rid of it is that I've gone wireless. Highly recommend.

shouldn't it just work right all the time?
Pros: * 7 ports * powered * compact * lighted ports * numbered ports * attractive industrial styling
Cons: * doesn't achieve 480Mbps * ports lit when nothing plugged in * no top loading ports * connection to computer is large USB type A to B * random disconnects * poor performance
Other Thoughts: I have been using this hub for almost a year now. It randomly disconnects. I have a usb 2.0 hard drive plugged into it and a thumb drive. Sometimes after a disconnect, it will connect only at usb 1.1 speeds.

Not inpressed with this one...
Pros: It's from D-Link... I like their stuff!
Cons: I find that if the usb cables don't go straight into the hub They randomly give me errors... I had to tape them all down very straight to be able to use the hub with out hearing that damm noise it makes when a device is unrecognized...
Other Thoughts: Does not help that I paid all most twice the price that Newegg charges for it... Dang you F*r*y*s'...

Works as expected
Pros: When purchasing a USB hub, I am not really looking for much. Just looking for a quality device that does its job, and i think ive found one. Not much else to say... Its a USB Hub.
Cons: ... Its a USB Hub.
Other Thoughts: ... Its a USB Hub.

great hub
Pros: great hub, very solid, enough power for all of my devices (logitech g9, keyboard, belkin gamepad, printer, scanner, and usb hdd).
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: seems to work just fine without the power cable plugged in, though most of my devices have external power and the rest don't use much power to begin with. I have this hooked up to a very long usb cable so that I can use my mouse and KB on the couch for some big screen gaming.

Lots of ports in an ugly box
Pros: Seven ports, powered, reliable, compact.
Cons: Silver-painted plastic is hideous, there are eight bright, green LEDs: one for power and seven that are always on as long as the hub is connected to the computer. Why?
Other Thoughts: Nobody is fooled by plastic painted to look like metal. When can we stop doing that? This would look a lot better in black, white or gray, totally unpainted.

Great!
Pros: Everything worked as intended right out of the box. USB devices fit nice and snug in the ports.
Cons: Would rather not have the additional power supply to plug in, but it's not a big deal.
Other Thoughts: Packaging is annoying.

UNRELIABLE - DISK I/O ERRORS
Pros: NONE
just like the D-Link 4-port hub (DUB-H4, this (DUB-H7) 7-port hub also causes A LOT of disk I/O errors with ALL of my USB drives (LaCie 500GB, LaCie 160GB, WDC 400GB, and NexStar GX enclosure). even if there is only ONE drive plugged into the D-Link hub, there are always disk I/O errors (in both Windows XP and Vista system event logs), AND disk throughput becomes exremely slooow (1-2MB/s). however, if i plug the drive(s) directly into the computer's USB port(s), then there are absolutely NO disk I/O errors at all, and write speeds jump to approx. 18MB/s (so, huge difference in speed).
Cons: essentially, these D-Link hubs are totally *unreliable* when used with a USB hard drive (either self-powered or bus-powered). at least, that is the case with ALL of my computers. i'm reasonably confident that my computer systems are not the problem, b/c the disk errors occur with ALL three of my systems (ThinkPad A30p and two T61p machines), but ONLY when using these D-Link 4 & 7 port hubs).
btw, i DID use the D-Link hubs with their power adapters, so bus power wasn't the source of the problem, all downstream usb devices had plenty of power.
Other Thoughts: does anyone know where to get a *reliable* USB hub (preferably a multi-TT hub). i don't care how much the darn thing costs, i just want something that WORKS!

Mediocre...
Pros: 7 ports Compact size Rear side has outbound USB and power (cord management)
Cons: Does not like USB-powered HDs. I have two of these hubs, one at work and one at home. Both do not like running a USB-powered HD, and will drop the hard drive, sometimes during access.
Power supply is an odd size and occludes flanking plugs.
Other Thoughts: Not a fan. It needs a larger power supply to resolve the above issue. For items with little to no draw, great hub. For everything else, not so much. Recommend passing on this hub for something with more power.
Power supply itself needs a redesign.

Good USB Hub
Pros: It's pretty small, has a lot of USB ports, it's fast, lights up nicely, had it for half a year and no problems yet.
Cons: It's really light but that's not that big of a problem.
Other Thoughts: Just so you know, this is powered. It comes with an AC adapter that you have to use or it won't have enough power to turn on.

Dazzling
Pros: Works no problem with my Mac. Seems well made, and powers peripherals fine.
Cons: Those LEDs are bright, is it really necessary for this to resemble landing lights at the airport?

Great USB hub after 2+ years
Pros: Started using this in Feb 2007. Have it hooked up to a 16 foot USB extension cable. For the past 2+ years I've had a printer, keyboard, wireless mouse, portable scanner, camera, 400GB external HD and a USB key plugged in. I've never had one complaint- everything works perfect.
Cons: None

D-Link must hate their customers
Pros: It sometimes does what it says. Comes with a power adapter that can power some things (see other reviews about the 500/300mA problem).
Cons: I have four devices plugged into the hub - a mouse, a keyboard, a USB headset, and (sometimes) an iPod. Every time (EVERY TIME) I restart the computer, one of my four devices won't be recognized. I have to unplug and replug the cable to get the device to be recognized. I have tested this behavior on 3 computers, with the same results. It's not always the same port, or the same device, but it's always one of the ports that have a device in it. It's not even like I'm taxing the power supply (another review mentioned unpredictable behavior when too many high-power devices are connected).
Other Thoughts: I figured this was probably just a defective hub, so I write D-Link to get it repaired. They wrote back and told me to REINSTALL THE DRIVERS FOR MY USB HUB. Um, I'm pretty sure there aren't any drivers for that, guys... Long story short, they basically told me to buzz off and be happy that at least I have a workaround. Won't repair the product, won't replace the product, just don't care at all.
Overall, I had a really terrible experience with this product, and an even worse experience with their product support. They don't stand behind their products at ALL.

Does what it does
Pros: Works great so far Has a 6ft USB cable
Cons: only real con is is that it DOES require a power source, the description says it doesn't but it does.
Other Thoughts: overall a good product, if your looking for a 7 port USB hub then I would recommend this one as long as you dont mind the whole power source thing.

**ERROR** -- PRODUCT DESCRIPTION FALSE
Pros: never took it out of the box. can't comment
Cons: Product Description states:
Needing no power source, the DUB-H7 is a great and inexpensive way to increase the USB ports on a computer. Its size and lack of a power supply make it extremely portable and easy to move from computer to computer or take on the road.
THIS IS NOT TRUE. IT DOES REQUIRE A POWER SUPPLY. PLEASE SEE DLINK'S SUPPORT.DLINK.COM TO CONFIRM THIS.
Other Thoughts: Very disappointed with blatantly inaccurate information on Newegg's site. Usually very happy here, however, explaining the problem to customer service was a bit like pulling teeth. Thumbs down on this one!!

Doesn't properly initialize device connections
Pros: 7-ports, self powered
Cons: I've realized after a year that my D-Link Hub is defective, and not something quirky with my computer. I have 5 devices connected to the hub, which I connect to a laptop. But on connection only 3 or 4 of the devices would connect; the unconnected devices must be unplugged and reconnected to the hub. The specific device dropped changes each time: it's the hub, not the computer or devices.
Trying a cheap, unpowered, 4-port hub and this problem does not happen.

Works! But...
Pros: Works! Love this baby.
Cons: But just had a small incident. It quit working after 2 or 3 years (today), luckily I had another one in the box, and the new one works just fine. BUt then on a hench, I put the old one back in, and it now works too. I guess it needed a couple minutes with everything unplugged, or something.
So watch, when it quit working, it may not have gone bad, just need a breather.

D-Link disappoints
Pros: none
Cons: Programs and computer "hung"; could not print without turning computer off (manually because it hung at Saving your Settings) and on; fax modem did not work, PaperPort "not responding", OE not responding. Had to disconnect and use old modem. New XP computer.

OK but with frustrations
Pros: Compact size. Usually works.
Cons: Frequently, connected items do not automatically mount when the computer starts. Hard drives, scanners and other accessories have to be power-cycled or unplugged/replugged before they are "seen" by the computer

work as they are supposed to
Pros: good design for storing one on top of the others and no flashing trinkets! Simple and functional; all ports working 50 days of use
Cons: none so far
Other Thoughts: I love the very simple design. I wish other manufacturers would listen up... no need for flashing gizmos... this is not a club, only a hub. Simple, functional, almost invisible, and inexpensive.

Great price
Pros: This is a great hub to connect things like a keyboard/mouse, a printer, a floppy drive, etc. So if you are not planning on hooking up a Hard drive or a flash drive to it then it is a great product at a great price!
Cons: The lights next to each port on the front do not seem to work correctly.
Other Thoughts: However, the speed is obviously not very good when you try to hook up a flash drive or a hard drive through this USB hub because it only has one USB connection actually going into the computer. But this has been the case with any USB Hub I have used.

Perfect at what it does
Pros: Does exactly what it's supposed to, takes one USB on your computer and gives you seven more to use separately. And it does so impeccably, as I never encountered a problem.
Cons: None to complain of!
Other Thoughts: Just remember, it uses its own AC power adapter, and there are a few mildly bright lights on it. It hasn't been a problem though, I can sleep right over it.

Pros: It works great. Compact and handy.
Cons: A couple of the lights on front stay on all the time even when surge-protector that the power cable is attached to is switched off and the computer is off.
Other Thoughts: Regarding the Con, I haven't tried turning off the power supply on computer to get lights to go off as it doesn't bother me. Would purchase this unit again and recommend it, even with the slight con listed.

Pros: - Works great. - A lot smaller than I thought it would be.
Cons: - Lights are on even when nothing is plugged into it (only annoying at night cause it's bright in my room, so I have to unplug it.) Not a deal breaker though.
Other Thoughts: - Bought it because half of my USB ports on my old A7N8X Deluxe MB have quit working. I've had to unplug the hub twice since I got it because it would freeze up but I think thats due to the unstable ports on the motherboard. Haven't had this problem when plugged into my laptop.

My second hub of this model!
Pros: This is my favorite USB hub, it works either powered or non-powered. If it doesn't work for you, reboot after plugging it in. That always works for me, and the hub consistently works perfectly after that. Had my first hub of this model for over a year, maybe even two.
Cons: Kind of bright.
Other Thoughts: Newegg ships fast.

7 Ports of USB Action
Pros: 7 ports of USB connections, Price with mail in rebate.
Cons: Requires power, adapter plug a little large when installing on power strip.
Other Thoughts: This is a great USB Hub for those needing a little extra for the external devices. After building my new computer I was trying to keep the case as clean as possible, this prevented me from adding a seperate internal card and fits nicely underneath my new monitor.

works
Pros: Just plug in and now you have 7 USB ports to use, that simple.
Cons: none so far.
Other Thoughts: The price was great, forgot to send in the $10.00 rebate though. I bought 2 of these and they work great.

Great Hub
Pros: Bought three of these over the course of 2 years. The Hub was easy to hook up, and has had no hardware conflicts with any device i've plugged in so far. One nice feature is the ability to daisy chain these things together. Great Product!
Cons: none

Kill 1 get 7
Pros: I have been using this item for more than 3 month with 3 x 250 HD 1 iPod 1x Microsoft Keyboard / Mouse combo, UPS and an extension for a flash drive. Self powered and small.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: With to many H Drives will take your pc a while to read it. To avoid that long boot time plug it after the OS is up

Power supply died
Pros: Cheap. Small.
Cons: Defective. Power supply died within three days. Caused the hub to draw power from the computer. The USB connectors in the computer got fried because the hub had all seven ports in use. This in turn fried my keyboard attached to another USB connector on the computer. It also disconnected an external USB hard drive in the middle of a transfer. Caused me major headaches all weekend.
Other Thoughts: Having a powered USB hub is a great idea since it avoids the issue of drawing too much power from your computer itself. But when the power supply dies, and the current has to come from somewhere, your computer pays the price. This $28 hub killed my $50 keyboard and nearly lost me my data (I have a backup). It is simply not worth it. Cheap is cheap.

Great product
Pros: 7 ports, nicely spaced. No problems. A hub is a hub for the most part. Self powered so it doesn't draw power from the computer. Worked great right out of the box.
Cons: Lights are bright. I like it personally but it could be annoying to some users. USB cable is pretty short, but not a problem in my situation
Other Thoughts: They should include 2 pieces of double stick material or velcro to make mounting this anywhere easier. Had to go out and buy my own.

Ambivalent
Pros: Many ports. D-Link name.
Cons: All of the port lights are lit-up all of the time, whether or not any device is connected. IMO, this is incorrect. The port lights should only be on when a device is connected AND online. I have another hub and this is precisely the way it operates. If a device takes itself offline, with the DLINK, how do you tell? Yes there are ways of course, but the most obvious and direct indicator is unavailable with this device. However, perhaps the inverse is true: the light goes OUT when the device goes offline. According to the doc, the light goes out ONLY when there is a device OVERRUN. Design flaw, IMO.
Other Thoughts: Take care packaging your rebate. The rebate form says that the UPC barcode is on the box. There is no box. You will instantly substitute "packaging" for "box" and choose the ONLY barcode that is ON the packaging--the S/N barcode, WHICH IS INCORRECT. The UPC barcode is on a black/white/green card INSIDE the packaging. I guarantee you 2 things: 1) Many people are making this mistake; and 2) this was done ON PURPOSE to given the rebate center a reason to deny your rebate. REBATES ARE A SCAM.

Power-free
Pros: This hub is simply awesome. The fact that it doesn't need to be powered for connecting self-powered devices makes it very clutter-free. This device works with both USB1 and USB2 with Linux (be sure to enable proper EHCI settings in the kernel)
Cons: other hubs accepted connections from all keyboards where as this hub was giving "dropped packets" error with one specific keyboard only (Logitech iTouch). not sure where the source of the problem is but a possible solution is to bypass the hub for devices that do not work as expected (and you probably don't have to if you don't own a logitech itouch keyboard).
Other Thoughts: simply an awesome hub and works very well with linux. if your desk is very messy and can't afford anymore clutter, get this hub as it doesn't require power of self-powered usb devices (printers, ...). although keyboards and mice are not self-powered, they work with this hub.

It works well
Pros: This is my second purchase of the same hub, the first one stopped working after 2-3 years. Works very well, I have 2 external HDDs and 2 printers connected all the time and I also use this for iPods and Digital camera equipment. I haven't had any issues
Cons: First one died after 2-3 years, so only 4 eggs

Great Buy!
Pros: It does exactly what it says. I have to take my computer with me a lot of times for in class assignments in college and it's so much simpler to unplug one USB cord vs 3 or 4 and leave. Now I just unplug one cord and I'm out the door. I've never had any issues at all with this. I love it and would definitely recommend it.
Cons: None

It's a USB hub!
Pros: Lots of ports. Nice size. Works without a hitch. LED for each port.
Cons: A bit light... but I don't know of any USB hubs that have lead weights in them to keep from moving. I have all 7 ports used, and all the cables definitely control where is sits. The cables weight more than it for sure. But hey, no biggie
Other Thoughts: Just use wire straps/ties to help control cabling.

Pros: Outlet plug size (doesn't block other outlets) 7-Ports compact, yet ports spaced out rebates (price)
Cons: 2 of the 7 ports plastic piece in the middle of the plug ended up breaking - still functions if inserted correctly
Other Thoughts: The con is probably partially user error as a bit too much force was used.... reasonable price, product as expected.

Reliably Does The Job
Pros: Gives me enough USB ports for everything I need, powered, reliable
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Everything runs at full speed and full power as far as I have been able to tell. Running 2 external hard drives, a thumb drive, a TV tuner, a printer, and an iPod through it and not even a hiccup. Highly recommended!

First hub I've ever owned and I love it!
Pros: This IS a powered hub, even though the product description says it is not. It is also backlit so you can find the ports in the dark, without being too bright for in your bedroom at night. I have 4 devices on it right now, including a game pad, a cordless mouse, a cell phone adapter cord and one other thing I can't recall right now, but it handles everything just fine.
Cons: None I can see.

works well
Pros: 7 connection very compact light
Cons: nothing really
Other Thoughts: remember -- it is a HUB, so the bandwidth is split between the connections. When I tried to connect a video camera, headset as well as other items, the camera software complained that the connection is not fast enough!!!

7 Ports - Quality Hub
Pros: These D-link hubs are great and get great reviews now that i own one i can tell why. I paired this up with a belkin 16 foot usb cable and its working like a charm with my other computer I have here. Keyboard, Mouse, Gamepad and Flash drives all seem to be working flawless. This thing has that external power supply too for extra juice if you need it.
Cons: NA
Other Thoughts: With this discount going on right now.. you cant go wrong.. its as cheap with the discount as the cheapest usb hubs and its one of the best.

Cheated on the D-Link Rebate
Pros: Cheap.
Cons: We were cheated on the rebate offer even though we documented the whole thing including a copy of the rebate form showing all the required items clearly attached.
Other Thoughts: The rebate did not convince us to buy the item but not receiving the rebate convinced management to put D-Link on the company's NO-BUY LIST as an untrustworthy vendor. Accordingly, none of our offices worldwide are allowed to buy D-Link anymore.
In short, cheating on a small rebate doesn't a hurt our company or the next a lot. But it does hurt the cheating company that loses good will and future sales. We'll likely never deal with D-LINK again as nothing that goes on the NO-BUY LIST has ever come off.

I love this thing
Pros: I've bought 3 so far, one for each location I use my laptop and it has performed wonderfully! I've filled in all 7 slots including power hungry devices that recharge through the USB and never had a problem.
Cons: More expensive than some of the other hubs out there
Other Thoughts: Highly recommend spending the extra $ for this hub over the others. Don't get stuck with a shoddy hub that makes your life miserable.

Pros: All the outgoing ports are on one side, is self-powered.
Cons: Horribly unreliable. It often refuses to recognise random devices, which can be remedied with a power cycle. It appears that it can only handle 4-5 devices at a time, and chooses them randomly.

Outstanding D-Link USB 7 Port Hub
Pros: Sturdy, reliable, durable, Rock Solid 7 Port USB 2.0 Hub ! Use it with my system - Quad E6850, Visa 64 Ultimate, Dual XFX Ultra 8800 SLI video cards, 1.5 TB disk storage, EVGA 780i SLI Mother board. Use this Hub to connect multiple External Hard Drives, scanner, printer, cell phone etc. Never had any driver or power issues. Not one lick of problems. Ziltch. Nada!
Cons: No Con's. I have had a very positive experience with this hub.
Other Thoughts: If your looking for a solid, sturdy, durable, reliable, tough piece of equipment, look no further. This D-Link, 7-Port USB Hub is what you are looking for. This is an excellent product. All else pales in comparison.

Pros: Lots of ports and sits on my desktop.
Cons: Will not work with my WinXP configuration. Seems to work for a while then get BSOD complaining that the hardware is not correctly installed. The only thing I have been able to figure out is that there is a hardware conflict with my MoBo USB port and this hub.

All around great product
Pros: The flexibility of 7 extra USB ports, No hassle plug n' play, cool LEDs on the front, little no slip rubber feet, and good price (w/ rebate) make me a happy consumer. The cord is also an adaquate length (approx. 6ft.) to reduce the nearby USB device related clutter on my office desk.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I believe the description states that it is self powered and it can be. Just FYI it comes with a wall power adapter so you can use it that way too.

Pros: does not need to be pluged into ac outlet to power up usb, mouse, keyboards. nice and small with lots of ports. love the easyness of use.

Fantastic and inexpensive USB hub
Pros: Plenty of ports for plugging in USB devices Small foorprint Power adapter is slim enough to only take up one port on most (vertically oriented) power strips Even at retail it's an excellent price for a powered 7-port hub
Cons: Much like all D-Link devices, it's kind of ugly (IMO) :) The ports are recessed a bit so it can be tough to get some USB connectors in all the way
Other Thoughts: This is my 3rd powered USB hub and the first one that could handle my mouse, keyboard, iPhone dock, and external hard drive all at once. Every other one I've tried has started freaking out at random intervals which, at best, would make my mouse unresponsive for a few seconds, and at worst corrupt data on my external disk or iPhone. I'm very happy with it.
While the manual does state that plugging USB 1.1 devices into it can cause ALL devices to operate at USB 1.1 speed, this is really only a problem if the USB controller on your computer is buggy (or if you use a really old OS).

piece of Junk
Pros: usb 7 port
Cons: worked on 1 or 2 usbitems the rest was bad then the whole thing died.
Horrible customer service. You can wait 3 weeks and perhaps get a replacement- does me no good when I need one right away. Also couldnt receive rebate do to its faulty nature!

Decent hub with quarks
Pros: The DUB-H7 works as described with some quarks. (See Cons) I haven't seen any connectivity issues or bad dataflow.
Cons: One of my big issues with this hub, is that if the upstream signal is stopped, it stops the both the signal & POWER to the downstream USB devices. This means if you undock, suspend, shutdown, unplug this hub from the computer, it will shut down the power to the devices that are connected to it. That may have been fine in the past, but with so many devices like Palms, Blackberries, iPods, and the like using the USB port to charge, this can be very aggravating. This is one of the reasons I a bought a USB hub in the first place. I have never seen this behavior in the previous hubs I have owned in the past.
Also one thing that sort of worried me, is I noticed that the AC power converter only supplied 3Amps of DC power. Technically, if all of your USB devices used 500 milliamps, you would need 3.5 AMPs plus whatever was needed for the hub controller. It is unlikely that this would happen, but it is possible.
Other Thoughts: Here are some other areas I could see for improvement but I couldn't consider them flaws/cons: * Foot to stand hub upright so it would take up less desk space * Lights indicate signal and data traffic (not just power as it does now) * Lights indicate when the hub is running at 1.1 vs. 2.0

Pros: Easy instructions, compact and works as expected
Cons: Does not work without an A/C adapter (included). Requested that their website description for this product be changed since it stated that no A/C adapter was required.
Other Thoughts: Customer Service is excellent!

Pros: This USB hub works good, I haven't run into any problems with it.
Cons: As many people already said, it doesn't stay flush on your desk, you need to weigh it down or get a velcro strip to attach to it... unless that bothers you, its fine.

Very good product
Pros: 7 ports, each ports support up to 500mA with power adapter plugged, small size and simple looks
Cons: All the lights are on even nothing plugged in to any ports.
Other Thoughts: If you're too lazy to plug USBs to the back of your computer, or doesn't have enough USB ports on your front panel of computer, this is the right choice for you.

Fantasic
Pros: It has its own power supply, although it can run entirely off the computer's power (and versatility is always nice!). It is compatible with both my PC and my Mac (so, if you were wondering...). It is brightly lit, with a green light between each port so you can easily see each of them. It is also very light weight, so it is easy to transport anywhere.
Cons: I haven't had any trouble with it.
Other Thoughts: 7 ports!?!? Awesome!

Great USB Hub
Pros: This is a great USB hub. Plug and play and you are off to the races. High speed USB 2.0.
Cons: The only thing that I found different than my Berklin USB hub is this device has LEDs on all the ports that stay on all the time irregardless if an active device is plugged in. So you have a lot of pretty green LEDs on all the time.

Remeber it is a HUB, not SWITCH
Pros: Compact way to connect 7 devices -- printers etc.
Cons: Was not able to handle video camera and headset at the same time. Limited bandwidth. So, don't expect to be able to operate all (or even most) of the devices at the same time.
