LOUD
Pros: It worked. Never had any power up issues or explosions.
Cons: LOUD. If this is a silent power supply, I'd hate to hear a noisy one. I coudn't hear the fans on my old PSU. This is loudest one in the case by alot. So loud, I switched back to my old PSU.
Other Thoughts: I didn't realize it had a sleeve bearing fan when I bought it. I'll make sure my next PSU has a fan/fans with dual ball bearings.

2 power supplies same problem
Pros: Could not say if any as I never got a working power supply.
Cons: Connected the power supply to my ASUS P5WD2 premium board. Power supply comes on, all fans in the system running, LED on board on. System will not post. Through process of elimination I determine the problem is the power supply. RMA'ed it and recieved another power supply, same exact problem. RMA'ed that one and got a different brand power supply, system now running perfectly.
Other Thoughts: I was not able to determine if I just got two defective power supplies (extremely unlikely) or if they just do not like the P5WD2 board. I strongly suspect the latter.

Other Thoughts: I will never buy from coolermaster again

Cons: I could use another power cable for some add'l devices in the future.

Had Trouble
Pros: Large fan, Quiet
Cons: Like others, mine shut down very quickly after turning it on. 18 amps on tne 12v rail seems pretty low for a 600 watt PS.
Other Thoughts: I am dissapointed that Cooler Master put out such a low quality product. I own other CM products and have always been impressed by the quality.

another DOA
Pros: cheap ....... after rebate
Cons: just like many others, mine would shut down anywhere from 2-10 seconds from boot time, on a brand new build. After a great deal of time trouble shooting, I tried a second PS, and BINGO. Debating if I should just toss it, or waste time & $$$ RMAing it?!?!
Other Thoughts: Avoid like the pleague. You get what you pay for in this case!!!

Do not bother with this PSU
Pros: With 600 watts you should be able to run anything. Plenty of power connectors
Cons: Ordered first PSU, system would not even POST. RMA'd that for a new one. It did the exact same thing. I confirmed the fault is not inmy system by connecting a different PSU to it. It booted just fine.
Other Thoughts: For the price I paid for this unit I am really disappointed. Even with the refund I am still out the cost of shipping back two units not to mention the down time.

Do not buy this PS
Pros: Nothing, didnt work right.
Cons: Power supply was very unreliable even under a light load. Powered up motherboard, but when loading XP unit would just shut down, everytime.
Other Thoughts: Stay away, was hesitant but rebate swayed me, big mistake. Now I have to deal with returning it.

Pros: Good airflow
Cons: Low inconsistant voltages poorly assembled molex connectors
Other Thoughts: If you plan/need to, "GO BIG" then "GO BIG!" Don't cheap out like me. It hurts you in the long run.

Seems ok so far. Hope it lasts.
Pros: Heavy, 120mm fan, enough connectors.
Cons: I don't really have any complaints although I also get a 11.71v reading on the 12v line. I've read that the ATX spec is +/- 5% for the 12v, so technically 11.71v is within the ATX spec - but I would prefer that it be closer to 12v. I wish there was a way to mod it to output closer to 12v.
Other Thoughts: When I ordered this, the reviews were mostly good. Then a bunch of bad reviews were posted just after I received the PS. I installed it into an older system (Athlon XP 3000+, 2GB ram, ATI 9600XT AGP, two 400GB hdd, DVDRW) and it has run stable for three weeks even under full load such as prolonged video compression. I have not experienced any reboot issues as others have reported. Maybe I am just lucky or I'm using a low-draw system configuration.

Avoid
Pros: Seemed like a good idea at the time. 600W, $xx rebate, 3 sata...
Cons: I've RMA'd this twice now. Both power supplies cause the computer to shutdown randomly. Known good power supplies work fine.
Other Thoughts: Guess I'll RMA it again and hope for the best. Newegg has a very good RMA policy, but I've used up my rebate on shipping costs...

cheap stuff/bad 12V
Pros: cheap
Cons: cheap, i was in a rush to get a power supply fast and saw this was a good deal at the time. i figured i try it out but i also have the low 12V problem. My 12V is running at 11.71. my computer shuts down about 10 times a day now sometimes 20-30 when im playing games. this is so frustrating its just rediculous. i already cut out the UPC and already did the rebate on the first day i got it so i dont know if i can do a RMA on this.
Other Thoughts: proceed with caution.

Decent deal
Pros: Great price after rebate. And it looks nice.
Cons: My 12V rail is undervolted, with BIOS reporting 11.73V. It hasn't caused a problem so far, but it is a cause for concern.
Other Thoughts: A friend of mine who also bought this is reporting 11.83V. I'm beginning to think its a design defect.

Works for me
Pros: Price after rebate was great! Feels like a high quality build. It's 600w MAN! I trust the name. Huge cooling fan. I don't look at my power supply FIRST now when something goes awry.
Cons: Wish it had modular connections, but oh well. Wish the wiring was pre-wrapped and it came with a Maxim model to install it :) ??? Can't really find any negatives yet. I am plugging in some SLI gear soon (just ordered it) so I'll be able to post another review if something goes wrong.
Other Thoughts: My cons aren't really cons. I don't own the gear I need to properly test the unit and provide a full user review. Please do a Google on this unit and look for reviews from hardware review websites if you are extremely picky.

Newegg is incredible
Pros: Great customer service from Newegg.
Cons: PSU doesn't work. Cooler Master is terrible.
Other Thoughts: I bought this PSU and posted 2 bad reviews. That's because the first and second unit I got was defective. Since I cut the UPC out for the rebate, I didn't even think to ask Newegg to return the item. A customer service rep sends me an e-mail apologizing me for the inconvenience (from the reviews alone! Apparently they read the reviews for dissatisfied customers) and offering to make an exception so that I can return the item even though the UPC is gone. Now THAT IS AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. The world would be a better place if it was run by these guys. Thanks!

got a bad unit
Pros: low cost
Cons: I installed this unit 3 days ago and unfortunately my computer shuts down anywhere from 2 to 3 times a day. It does so suddenly just like it would if you where to pull the plug out of the wall. As another individual has already posted I am also only getting 11.71 volts. My other components are brand new and of good quality. I just ordered a new OCxxxxxxxxeam which cost a bit more but has great reviews.
Other Thoughts: I am glad others are happy with this unit but it there seems to be a few lemons popping up.

Piece of sCRAP!
Pros: none (not even 600w)
Cons: Won't power up my Asus Sli mobos, costing me valuable time, 15% of the price of the psu, and the quality of my newly bought but not-so-new-anymore parts from plugging and pulling peripherals while troubleshooting.

Awful
Pros: The stats and amount of connectors supplied are enough to make anyone think this is a great PSU.
Cons: Constant voltage drops that cause my system to reboot or sometimes not even start at all. I put in another 450W PSU and the system works flawlessly. The PSU capacitors are cheap components and create lots of signal ripple.
Other Thoughts: Odds are good that you will also have a horrible experience with this PSU and/or it will damage your PC's components over time. Don't take the chance with this one.

Garbage
Pros: Cheap price after rebate.
Cons: It wouldn't work. My new build shut down every 5 minutes. When you just finish building a new system, diagnosing the problem is a biatch. You think it's the motherboard, memory, CPU overheating, etc. Turns out it was the CPU. I plugged an AxxxC Truepower 480W and it worked perfectly.
12V rail is under voltage. 11.71 reported in the BIOS. Other rails (3.3 and 5) were within .01 volts.
Other Thoughts: Others seem to be happy with it so I might have gotten a bad one. But quality control is an issue with power supplies. It's the biggest margin item computer manufacturers make aside from extension cords and plugs. You'd think that they'd give us decent quality at least.

Very impressed
Pros: This thing is too nice looking to hide it in a case. Had more than enough cables & lengths to address all computer situations. 600w has the reserve if you ever need it, a bit overkill for my app.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: High quality, does a great job venting heat too! Rebate made it very attractive.

Stabilty issues gone
Pros: I had a lot of stabity issues with old powersupply, All gone now, more then enough power for everything. Not to load I think... Plus playing any game, or watching a movies you can't hear it anyway.
Cons: Modular cabling I guess...
Other Thoughts: I was running FX55, abit fatat1ly sli, XFX7800GTX, some cheap ram, and 2 SATA HDD on a 420w powersupply. I was having alot of trouble with it. Videocard would Overheat all the time+any high end games with alot of shaders like FEAR, would artert(SP?) like crazy, now no problem run cooler then when turned off ;p. Also HDD randomly turned off and crashed my comp. I would have weekly random crash for who knows why, but I think its was the power. Ether way it's one of the best ideas I have had since I started building computers 3 years ago. Oyea and NEWEGG RULES charged on fri got it on monday...

Nice digs
Pros: Good stuff. I haven't hooked it to any sort of metering device to test the output and all that crud, but I have yet to see a hiccup. Ran this with the specs below and 2 gb of OCZ memory (rma'd that junk) and a 7800GS CO AGP card, 2 hard drives and 2 opticals along with fans and such.
Cons: Rebates take an eternity. Mad at newegg for hitting me for restock fees on 2 items I just RMA'd. One (vid card) caused harsh system reactions in 3 different pc's I own and the other (ram) was sold as 2.0 CAS and wouldn't go under 2.5 no matter what adjustments. Newegg owes me a pint!
Other Thoughts: I've dropped tons of cash into the newegg till and will probably keep doing so. Since 2001, women have come and gone, but Newegg is my friend... that I am about to give a wedgie to.

Pros: Works like I expect it to. No problems.
Cons: Not as loud as you'd think from what you read in other reviews.
Other Thoughts: It's a decent PSU. I have it in a spare rig I built, not in my main computer. For the price, I think it's worth it (after rebate).

Much louder than I expected
Pros: After rebate price was decent
Cons: Very loud, especially for a 120mm unit
Other Thoughts: I've only had this up and running a little over a week, and it's loaded very lightly right now, so can't comment on power. But this was NOT the quiet power supply I was expecting. Cooler master claims "super silent operation", and even lists it at 20dba. I have quite a few computers in my house, with a mixture large and small, cheap and brand names, and even an OEM. This one is by far the loudest. I have a sound meter for my HT setup... I don't know how they measure these things, but at about 3ft from the back of the PS, I'm measuring about 55db c weighted.

Pros: none
Cons: Doesnt even work...First 1 was a doa from box, rma'd to Newegg. Just received my 2nd 1, and it booted and when it was in windows for 5 min it restarted on me and never booted after that.
Other Thoughts: I will never buy from coolermaster again, what do u expect for $xx.

Quality
Pros: • A friend recommended a lot of power, and this Power Unit delivers more than enough. I installed ATX motherboard with AMD 64-bit FX CPU, 2GM DDR DIMMs at PC3200, with one Western Digital 80GB hard drive, one CD-RW/DVD drive, eGeForce 6500 graphics card, and analog CRT monitor. • There is enough power to have installed a maximum of 8 drives total (up to 4 IDE drives and 4 SATA drives), two top of the line graphics cards (GeForce 7900s if you wish), loads of memory, multiple peripheral connectors (2 FireWire, 8 or more USB ports), etc.
Cons: None that I can see.
Other Thoughts: Excellent product. Probably more than I need for now, but I can expand my mid-tower for the next 8 years w/o worry about running short on power.

2 fault psu on a row?
Pros: it's quieter than my old psu
Cons: i have tried 2 of these psu. First one like about 2 weeks ago, the +12v is unstable, it will restart the pc during a very intense graphic card usage. I rma it on the first day it arrived, then today I received my second unit and it's even weaker than the first one. It wouldn't even load me into a game. They both have the problem of start at 11.71 on the +12v rail. Then as soon as I open a game or something it drops down to 11.5x and then restart my pc. This is the worst product I ever have in my entire life. I am very disspointed with Cooler Master and I will never ever again buy its products anymore.
Other Thoughts: I know it won't power up a high end pc. But my pc is not high end at all. venice 3200+ @ 2.4ghz geforce 6600gt @ 570/1080 1 dvd, 1 sata hdd, 1 mobo.

Somewhat loud
Pros: It works fine with my system intel 945g p3.0ht 2 gigs ram 1 160 gig hard 2 cd/dvd drives ati x600 1 120mm fan 4 60mm fans
Cons: I can definably notice the difference in the amount of nose that my case makes
Other Thoughts: If you move your case under your desk or what ever (mine is sitting on top of my desk) then you'll be fine

Good PSU but not silent fan
Pros: Good PSU if you need 500w.

Not quite DOA
Pros: Nice price with rebate.
Cons: This PS was nearly, but not quite DOA. It had enough power to turn the fan on the PS and to put some text on the screen one time but not enough power to fully power the motherboard (and POST). Hey, it was just a bad PS. It had to happen to someone I guess. But it took may many hours of effort, replacing every other part first, before I knew that it was a bad PS!
Other Thoughts: Why couldn't they have tested this thing in the factory before shipping?

Good quality - suitable for moderate load systems
Pros: Excellent value, 120mm fan, attractive, stable rails at moderate to high-moderate load.
Cons: Doesn't have any PFC; neither passive or active. Fan made rattling noise on my unit. Likely overrated at 600W.
Other Thoughts: Overall, a quality and stable power supply for moderate load applications. A good buy with rebate. It's interesting that the model number is RS-500-PCAR. The 600W designation is likely pure marketing - I think of this unit as a 500W power supply. I replaced the fan because the factory unit was rattling. Factory fan is "Globe Fan" brand, sleeve bearing. It would be nice if it had PFC, but this PS has been running perfectly stable on my system for 4 months.

Very Quiet
Pros: Great price, Quick shipping, partially sleeved cables, lots of options, super quiet
Cons: I guess if I have to say something I'd say not all of the cables are mesh sleeved but big deal.

decent but not for high-end systems
Pros: This power supply would be very good for anything up to a midrange system.
Cons: It horribly underpowers my system. I would think a 600w power supply would preform much better than this.
Other Thoughts: With 3 sata hdd's and a very high end nvidia quadro fx graphics card it causes my system to abruptly shut down whenever I attempt anything that is highly graphics intensive. If I remove 1 hdd then it is fine, but that is unacceptable for a 600w psu.

Great!! Runs flawlessly!
Pros: Great looking. I love the grill which allows air to pass, the 120MM fan is strong and quiet. The power supply is truly powerful and there is absolutely no lockups or hiccups. There is enough power connections for my rig. Rails are stable and I recommend this. Cheap with rebate.
Cons: N/A.
Other Thoughts: Used this power supply with my rig: ThermalTake Xaser WinGo V7000C (5, 90mm fans) AMD 4000+ @2.6ghz,OC Abit AN8 Ultra MB NEC3550A DVDRW/CDRW Drive 1024MB PQI Turbo 512x2 @2.5-3-3-7 ATI X1800XT 512MB WD Raptor 74GB 8MB @10,000RPMs WD 250GB WD2500KS 16MB @7200RPMs Audigy 2 ZS Platinum, 5.25 I/O Hub

Nice Power
Pros: Nice power supply, had all the bells that I wanted and 120mm fan to cool it. Nice and quiet. Easy access to fan so that I can oil it as needed with low risk of getting killed for it.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Power supplies are very dangerious! Do not oil a fan unless you know what you are doing.

Best PSU on the Market!!
Pros: Extremely quiet and reliable PSU . Extreme Power is a good name for it. I bought this PSU and installation was a breeze. When it's powered up, it was so quiet I had to put my ear next to it to see if it was on, even then i barely heard the fan. I had my PC up and cooling in no time at all.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Looking forward to other new products from them.

Only for low power systems
Pros: Rails are stable. Works fine for low power draw systems.
Cons: System wont even boot with a decent graphics card installed. Does not have enough power. How ridiculous is this? Shame on them.
