ok processor
Pros: games run smoother on dual core processors compared to single core because other programs run on other core so the games get consistent cpu time. laptop battery lasts over an hour in general use. (results may vary as battery time is also dependent on other factors)
Cons: very slow on single threaded processor intensive tasks compared to single core processors at the same price. but still would rather have dual core. amd uses hyper transfers rather than fsb speed so its difficult to compare their processors to Intel's.
Other Thoughts: didn't buy it from newegg but its the processor i have in my comp. sticker that comes with the processor for putting on the computer sucks because the color on the sticker is on a glossy silver face of the sticker itself so the color comes off after a while.

CPU is great!
Pros: It runs so cool! Unbelievable. I'm almost tempted to run it on passive cooler.
Cons: CPU not recognized in BIOS (Award). But that's not AMD's fault.
Other Thoughts: Bought this CPU to pair with an Asus Pundit. Initially had problems getting system to post. Thought I might have the dreaded "fans + lights no POST" pundit problem that has been documented by others. Fixed it by clearing the Bios CMOS settings.

Great Cpu.
Pros: I own the Tl-50 version but I thought I would comment here.It provides great steady performance. The L1 chache makes up for the lack of L2 chache in my oppinion.Great Fsb I would recomend this to anyone.By the way if you have this processor and notice that windows vista is running slow.Get 2Gb of ram...It makes a world of a difference.(Thats assuming you have 1Gb of ram)
Cons: None...
Other Thoughts: Great processor I like alot more that Intel Dual-Core processors.

Inspiron 1501
Pros: AMD makes great processors and i would like to upgrade to a dual core.
Cons: does anyone know if this processor will work in an inspiron 1501. it currently has a sempron 3000+ processor in it and i'm not sure if it is an S1 socket set or not.

To Clarify
Pros: To Clear Up to the user below, you need to look at the cpu's clock speed while running an aplication. What it does is underclock the cpu to 800 mhz instead of the true speed while running little to no apps to conserve battery. If it still reads 800 mhz while running a few apps, then there may be a problem with your bios causing it to not return to standard clock speed
Cons: n/a

I think somethings wrong...
Pros: Dual Core, 64 Bit, HT....all make for a decent laptop CPU
Cons: Runs hot, runs loud sometimes, but thats to be expected in a laptop. Read other thoughts:
Other Thoughts: This CPU came in my Gateway MA3 with Vista Home Pre x32. Right away, I notice it being slow while multitasking. I downloaded Spotlight for Windows, and it reads that my 1.6 CPU is in fact 800 MHrz per core?!?!? Is Spotlight reading it wrong, or is there something wrong with my CPU. This is my first Duel Core CPU, so, not used to some things maybe, but, all the ones i've seen arent half and half, its the full deal like 1.6 and 1.6. Maybe I just got a bad deal, stupid Best Buy.

Pros: excellent mobile cpu.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: To AMDman24:
This cpu won't work for you. Your MT-37 is a socket 754 chip, this processor requires socket S1.

Great CPU
Pros: First of all I want to mention that I didn't buy this product from Newegg. It was pre installed in my HP Pavilion. Haven't tested it with x64 OS but will soon. So far it feels way faster than my old machine P4 2.6 HT. I didn't realize that Turions are so expensive $xxx is 1/6 of what I paid for my HP. That was a steal
Cons: None but I'd recommend to use chill mat while using @ home. !g of memory gets pretty hot.
Other Thoughts: My notebook conf: HP Pavilion 2214. 14.1" display, Turion 64x2 (TL52),nVidia 6150, !g of memory, 120G HDD.

Great upgrade
Pros: Works good. Much improved over a 2.0ghz single core. Decent price for the speed increase.
Cons: Pain to open the case to the laptop. But thats not the processors fault.
Other Thoughts: Get this processor.

Great Processor
Pros: Great little processor for a notebook. Pick this one up in my HP laptop I bought, and couldn't be more happier with it. If your looking for a nice, fast, processor, get this one.
Cons: Nothing
