bang for the buck
Pros: Nice low price. I use Corsair memory almost exclusively. It is reliable and performs beautifully. Its great that Newegg keeps older memory types in stock. I used it to upgrade an older Compaq laptop from 256Mb to 1Gb RAM. Laptop runs MUCH better, even for an older machine.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I recommend Corsair memory to anyone who asks me about it. I also only use Corsair for current and future builds.

Corsair 512 Ram for Thinkpad T40-2373
Pros: Rapid results. Windows XP (SP3) on a Lenovo Thinkpad T40-2373 recognized the RAM right away. Going from 256 to almost a gig has made usage of the laptop SO much better. I can have multiple internet windows open, MS office, and youtube all at once.
Even with a Sunday and Monday holiday, the package was delivered in 3 business days, well wrapped with no damages.
Shipping was less than 3 dollars :)
Cons: None

Ram is not RAM...it is RAM
Pros: I got this for a laptop PC, it works as it should, and the upgrade was smooth! It is RAM, but just not any old RAM...THIS IS RAM THAT WORKS!!
Cons: I GOT NO GRIP WITH THESE PEOPLE!
Other Thoughts: GET SOME!! JUST DO YOUR HOMEWORK FIRST...I DID MINE AND WAS REWARDED WITH A FINE EXPERIENCE! AND A HAPPY Laptop!

Good price, but just didn't work
Pros: It fit into the Dell Inspiron 1100's memory slots just fine. Plus there was quick delivery, right before Thanksgiving.
Cons: The memory just didn't work. It wouldn't boot up at all with the Dell Inspiron 1100. When I put the old RAM back in, it worked just fine. I was very careful to ground myself before installing, but the product didn't come in static wrapping, so it's possible it was DOA. I was disappointed, naturally, but I wasn't able to get in contact with Corsair at all. I attempted multiple times, but with the holidays, I just had no luck.
Other Thoughts: I will say that for my first buying experience with Newegg, their customer service was very great. I had purchased this right before Thanksgiving and it was quick delivery. In addition, when the product didn't work, Newegg was very kind and refunded me my restocking fee on this as well. I didn't expect that at all. Plus they sent me a UPS label so I could get my return back in time.

Not compatible with everything!
Pros: Packaged nicely.
Cons: This upgrade did not work in an HP ze5500 laptop. Ordered PC 2100 memory by another vendor and it works perfectly. Not sure who to blame on this one, but I'm leaning towards HP.
Other Thoughts: I gave this memory 3 stars because it probably will work just fine in other systems, just not this one.

Pros: Used Corsair many times with good results. This situation was different.
Cons: Dell Inspiron 5150. System would NOT post, just beep and then shut off. I made sure that I had the latest released BIOS. Coincidentally the factory installed RAM was PC2100, not 2700. Maybe an early revision system? I don't know what the incompatibility was between the Corsair ram was, especially with 3 reviews for the same system and good results. possibly bad ram? Doubtful, but still possible.
Other Thoughts: NewEgg shipping and experience was top-notch again!
Manufacturer Response:If you attempted to mix the memory modules, that could cause the issue you are seeing. If your replacement module is problematic, please contact Tech Support. It is odd that originally you paid for PC2700 and got PC2100.

Great Memory
Pros: Great brand of memory. I've had this in my outdated Dell laptop for more than two years and have never had any problems with it.
Cons: It goes into something that has probably been outdated for more than three years now.
Only 512mb, but that was pretty good when I got it.
Other Thoughts: Corsair makes an outstanding product.

Laptop Runs Much Faster
Pros: Easy installation, easy to open package
Cons: Instructions included with DIMMs say to leave the laptop plugged in and the battery in during installation. I followed what seems to be the more common wisdom -- as per video on Crucial.com -- disconnected from power and removed battery. Although the clamshell package was easy to open, popping out the DIMMs is a little difficult -- I was afraid of damaging them in the process but evidently I managed to not do that.
Other Thoughts: Compaq V2710US laptop was very poky before this upgrade. It now has a new lease on life. Noticeably snappier response. Went from 512MB to 1GB -- well really from 384MB to 896MB -- the motherboard must have a defect causing it not to recognize 128 MB.

Please be careful
Pros: Good Price
Cons: Although Corsair's memory configurator list model VS512DS333 as being compatible with the Sony Vaio VGN S360, the memory will NOT fit in the slot. It's a 200 pin and the S360 needs a 172 pin.
Other Thoughts: If you are unsure a product is compatible please try to do as much research on your systems specs as possible. Don't be in a rush or cheap. You'll lose more money in the long run.

Good Memory for Dell INSP 8200
Pros: Order shipped quickly
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Works with Dell Inspiron 8200. Opened the case, swapped the memory and it was recognized on the 1st boot. Even with a slow bus speed, memory posted good times. Recommend this upgrade for Dell Inspiron 8200.

DOA
Pros: none
Cons: DOA costs too much to RMA. Have to give it 1 egg, tho it didn't deserve it.
Other Thoughts: would have cost me more to cover shipping than it was worth, didn't bother to RMA, just out the 20 bucks

Second one works great!
Pros: Cheap, easiest way to increase older computer's speed
Cons: First stick recieved was faulty. Computer would freeze within 2 minutes of being turned on. Replacement stick they sent works great.
Other Thoughts: Had to pay for shipping the bad one back to Newegg. That's garbage because they sold me a defective product.

works perfectly
Pros: Easy install, worked immediately, significant improvement over installed 512 in Toshiba Satellite. I read all of the reviews before buying it. I ran CPU-ID first. It said use PC 2700, but the Corsair on line "conjigurator" said to use PC 2100. Note, however, that the label is worn off on my Toshiba, so i was sort of guessing what the model number was! If unsure, maybe try CPU-ID!
Cons: none trivial ... i don't like the colours of the packaging.
Other Thoughts: My purchase was influenced by the desire to try a new brand, good reviews at newegg and that fact that Corsair took the trouble to respond to people logging concerns. I thought that was edgy and i like a company that cares about its image. I am happy with my purchase.

Nice & Easy
Pros: This made my 4 year old computer run quicker that I could have expected. It took five minutes and no problems. Even the instructions with the RAM was helpful. I will order from New Egg again!!
Cons: It came US postal. I thought that it was coming DHL.

works great
Pros: excellent ram. Bought 2 to upgrade from 256MB to 1GB. With this change I see a big performance boost. I have these for a few months now and they have not failed yet.
Cons: Computer didn't reconize the new RAM at first. Maybe my laptop tho. I had to reboot and adjust ram a few times to get the RAM to work.
Other Thoughts: RAM - Cheapest way to upgrade an old laptop.

Decent RAM
Pros: Bought 2 of these for a Dell Latitude C640 . Both were tested with Memetest86+ v.2.01 and had no errors... It made a huge difference going from 256Mb to 1Gb ...
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Egg saver DHL shipping stinks...

does not work with hp/compaq nc4000
Pros: not many. very promising on paper, but never got to test it as it wouldn't post.
Cons: incompatibility with nc4000. even after being recommended by corsair configurator, it failed to post. replacing it with PC2100 SODIMMs did the trick.
Other Thoughts: newegg.com was very good in taking the return once I explained the issue with the configurator.

Does NOT work with Dell Inspiron 5100 - Disappointed
Pros: I'm sure the RAM itself is functional, HOWEVER, read the "Cons" section for more info on the lower rating.
Cons: I'm disappointed that this RAM, with all the correct specifications that Dell recommends (i.e. PC2700) doesn't work. I'm also disappointed that the Memory Configurator on Corsair's website (http://www.corsairmemory.com/configurator/system_results.aspx?id=149720) recommends it, but it doesn't work with the Inspiron 5100. This product is supposed to be compatible with my laptop, as noted by the manufacturer, but it's not.
Other Thoughts: If you're installing this on the Dell Inspiron 5100, it has been recommended, through various forums and Newegg reviews, that the PC2100 RAM be purchased; specifically, the PC2100 Corsair RAM should work. I hope it does, because I just ordered two 512MB sticks from Newegg (P/N VS512SDS266, found here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145482).
On a good note, Newegg was able to provide me with a refund for this issue, with no restocking fee, it appears! Newegg truly has exceptional customer service.

Somewhat disappointed
Pros: Eventually worked
Cons: Delivery time was pretty slow for newegg. I've ordered many items before and was very impressed with delivery. The memory did not work. I checked with Corsair's website for compatibility before I purchased the memory for my old Dell 5100 laptop. The memory did not work. I contacted newegg and was told that they would give me a credit minus the re-stocking fees. I contacted corsair and they attempted to give me different installation instruction which did not work. After a few weeks they authorized a return and then it took another few weeks to finally get the replacement memory. It works!!!! I had given up on getting this resolved after reading some other reviews for the same memory. Many others could not get the same memory to work on any Dell laptops.
Other Thoughts: I will continue to be a newegg customer. 1 bad experience (ultimately resolved due to my patience/persistence) out of many positive experiences.
Manufacturer Response:We are sorry for any delay the bad part caused in getting your Dell up and running. Please let us know if you need any more assistance.

Didn't work
Pros: Cheap
Cons: I bought it to juice up an old HP ze4650us laptop my aunt gave me, but it didn't work. It would turn my laptop on and off real fast before hitting BIOS. Not a fault in the chips themselves, but Corsair's memory config. on their site said I could use it and I couldn't. But Newegg is RMAing me, I'm getting a refund and I ordered other memory
Other Thoughts: Other thoughts... Newegg is a great company, but they still use DHL which is dead domestically, but not internationally. I live about 54 miles from where it's shipped from in NJ, it shouldn't take me as long as it did to get it. They should have a local pick up at the warehouse's for people who live close enough to pick their order up.

Slot keyed wrong
Pros: None
Cons: Did not fit, I was going to RMA it, but I got a file from a swiss army knife to widen the gap so it would fit, I have not had a chance to boot it up yet to see if that worked, but I obviously should not have had to do this, it was defective.
I have instaled notebook ram on hundreds of machines, have never had this happen.
Other Thoughts: Junk, probably will be the last time I buy from Corsair

Sony Vaio PCG-K15 update

Sony Vaio PCG-K15
Pros: Easy open Corsair packaging - good for RMA. Newegg order arrived quickly and correct.
Cons: This is PC2700 memory "guaranteed" to work for Sony Vaio PCG-K15 by Corsair memory configurator linked to from Newegg. Unfortunately, only half of each stick is recognized. Replaced 2 sticks of 256Mb PC2100 (original) with 2 sticks Corsair VS512SDS333 512Mb as stated above. Still have only 512Mb.
Other Thoughts: Installed one stick only of new Corsair - recognized 256Mb, so Vaio only sees half a stick of each. Hope Newegg will swap for PC2100.
3 stars because I can't fault memory, only recommendation by Corsair through Newegg.

Works as intended
Pros: Easy to install. Worked seemlessly. Purchased in July of 2007 and still working perfectly. Pretty straight forward and it did everything I wanted it to.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: I own a laptop that splits RAM with the video card. Upgraded from 512MB to 1GB with this stick. Allows me me to run 256 MB for the video. Windows, Quicktime, videogames, etc., all run very smoothly

Didn't work in my DELL Laptop
Pros: Installed into the machine without issue
Cons: My Dell Inspiron 5100 didn't detect the memory and wouldn't boot.
Other Thoughts: This isn't so much a problem with the memory as it's a problem with DELL. I ordered a $50 stick (more than twice the cost of Newegg) from Crucial (the same speed, voltage, specs) and it worked fine. I'm glad to have the additional memory, but now I'm stuck with two sticks of laptop memory and no laptop to put them into!
Manufacturer Response:You may simply have gotten a bad module. Please RMA to Newegg or directly to Corsair and we'll replace it for you. Sorry you had the issue.

Corsair & Newegg Rock
Pros: Awesome bang for the buck. Bought it to replace a bad stick b est b uy sold me and it runs awesome. Yea its still only has 1gb of the possible 2 but it loads fast and still has memory to spare when im surfing the web and typeing reasearch papers.
Cons: None!
Other Thoughts: Newegg is the best play to buy ram. Very competative prices, convienant, Fast shipping, Awesome customer support (had I needed it). Took labtop to Crucial to test the ram and they wanted to charge me $55 for 512mb of ram.. thats outranges when i got this for little over $20. Not like its hard to isntall.. 1 screw and some intellegance.

Does NOT work for Dell Inspiron 5100
Pros: Great price compared to where I could have bought elsewhere. I love newegg!!!
Cons: This memory does NOT work for Dell Insprion 5100!!! I bought the memory based on information gathered from www.crucial.com. The information was not true. Need PC 2100, NOT 2700.
I was so excited on getting the memory today because normally the computer starts chugging when I have two MS Word documents open. I've waited 15min before a document opens. Those hopes and dreams of not being frustrated at work were quickly dashed against the sharp rocks beneath the cliff of agony...
Plus it's non-refundable. Bought it for work so hoping that work to get a refund so I can get the right memory.
Other Thoughts: Search all the reviews to make sure that it works for your computer before you buy!

Good Stuff
Pros: Added my second stick to a Dell C840 for a total of 1gig and it runs like a champ. Can't beat a deal like this for adding more life to an aging laptop.
Cons: None at all
Other Thoughts: Tested good with Super Pi and a short Prime95 test. No problems so far.

LAPTOP MEMORY
Pros: NONE
Cons: WAS TO BE BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE TO 266MZ PC2100, BUT LAPTOP WOULD NOT BOOT.
Other Thoughts: EASY RETURN
Manufacturer Response:We cannot recommend installing PC2700 memory into a machine that requires PC2100. Please see our memory finder on our home page to find the correct memory for you laptop.

Pros: - Cheap enough to be worth it - Works
Cons: None. Works completely as intended.
Other Thoughts: Added to a Gateway mx6000 series laptop that had a 512 stick in already. Made a nice improvement in overall windows performance. For some reason the laptop still won't change to dual channel mode but it works good enough it don't really care to investigate. The computer might not even support it.

No Problems
Pros: Installed this memory in a 3 year old Gateway Laptop. System recognized the memory without any problems.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Using this laptop to play with Ubuntu Linux. I like the clean interface of the O/S and it seems to run FireFox a lot faster then my Win XP system. If it wasn't for Battlefield 2142 I'd run Linux on my desktop, too.

Perfect upgrade for Dell Latitude
Pros: Easy upgrade. Low cost for 512 and it installed perfectly in a Dell C840 Latitude
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: I've got an original 256 and this 512 for a total of 768 now and it runs fine with XP. I may consider another stick at some point but for now it does the job really well.

incompatible with HP ze4800
Pros: great value from a reputable manufacturer
Cons: incompatible with my HP Pavillion ZE4800 / AMD Athlon XP-M. causes my laptop to keep cycling the power. I am not even able to get into the bios. had to remove the battery while it was cycling the power to stop it from rebooting. my HP came with 1 stick of DDR333 PC2700 ram. However, I've never heard of the manufacturer of that ram.
Other Thoughts: I bought 2 corsair sticks a few years back for my desktop which is an HP with and AMD processor and NVIDIA chipset and it also crashed my system, although I was able to get into windows XP with my desktop. for some reason corsair ram does not like HP computers or laptops with AMD processors.
Manufacturer Response:According to our database, the HP 48** series requires PC2100 memory. It appears that you have chosen memory that is incompatible with your unit. Please contact Customer Service or exchange with Newegg for the correct module for your system. CS: 888-222-4346

PERFECT!!!!
Pros: WORKED!! This worked when the others didnt.
Cons: none.
Other Thoughts: originally bought the 'G.SKILL F1-2700PHU1 512MB 200-Pin DDR SO-DIMM DDR 333 ($5 less) and that didnt work. Laptop wouldnt boot. SO I check the reviews on this and another Vaio vgn user also got this and it worked so i got it. Problem solved.
Laptop is old and needed upgrading. VGA-fs640/w recommended for maxing out at 1gb (2x512) ram.

Pros: Very fast ram. I installed it in my aging IBM ThinkPad and it brought this bad bay back to life!!! It took the laptop over two minutes after logging into windows xp just to click on the start button. Now I can do that in less than 35 seconds!!! Sweet!!!
Cons: You'll need a saw to remove the plastic packaging. LOL Priced at almost $80 bucks with egg saver shipping.

did not work as specified
Pros: cheap
Cons: does not work in dell inspirion 11XX series laptops
Other Thoughts: Dell recommends 512MB 200-Pin DDR SO-DIMM DDR 333 (PC 2700) for this series of laptops. This memory is not compatible. I went through 4 of these mem modules in three 1100 inspirions. none of them boot with the latest bios installed.
Manufacturer Response:According to our internal memory finder, which uses information from our testing and directly drom Dell, your system requires PC2100 aka DDR266 memory, not PC2700/DDR333. Please contact Technical Support so we can help resolve this. TS: 888-222-4346

Not compatible
Pros: Price, familiar brand
Cons: Not compatible with the computer I bought it for
Other Thoughts: This memory does not work in the old HP ze4800 I bought it for. I will admit that Corsair's memory selector recommended PC2100, but the laptop itself came with PC2700. Luckily I was able to swap out a stick of PC2700 from another laptop and use the Corsair in that one. The Corsair was not defective -- it works in a different machine. My gripe is that if the HP works with two other brands of PC2700, why does the Corsair not work?
Manufacturer Response:This sounds like a case where the chipset used on the laptop motherboard is not compatible with the memory you chose. We test our memory for compatibility and maintain this info in our memory selector tool. This is why we provide the memory selector for our customers. Please let us know if you have any issues. CORSAIR ValueSelect 512MB PC2700 sodimm
Pros: PERFECT price, product, and quality! Needed to upgrade an old laptop for a neighbor, and decided to go with these. Glad I did! Corsair has always put out a reliable product, and this time, for a very small price, they made me look like a computer wizard to my neighbors! Their laptop had only 256MB ram in it... threw two of these in... and well, you know the rest!
Cons: Where's my CORSAIR stickers? Lol.
Other Thoughts: CORSAIR STICKERZ RULE!!! I need to grow up... :D

As
Pros: Dropped right in, and was recognized right away. Perfect for my old laptop. Gave a quick boost to a full 1 GB of Ram. Very economical, and immediate speed increase
Cons: Little hard to remove from the plastic it was shipped in. didn't want to cut it out because I didn't want to damage it. but it was difficult to pop out of the recess portion. Was scared I was going to snap it getting it out!
Other Thoughts: Good economical buy, I couldn't have asked for anything else for this 3 or 4? year old laptop! Newegg was a great performer as always. Still my favorite E-store! The traditional UPS ground still was ahead of schedule. Newegg and UPS are the best value anywhere!

Why can't the chips match picture
Pros: I bought 2 (kinda a con) and they are 512mb chips according to cpuz.
Cons: Too bad they are 8 chip and not 16 chip like the picture my laptop Vaio pcg-k13 (vaio's are picky if you don't know, think mac but different company) only recognizes 256mb each chip and CL2.5 (original chips were CL2) nothing like manufactures changing design to save money and causing their chips to not be fully compatible in the process! I guess that is Corsairs problem not Newegg.
Other Thoughts: I don't know if newegg can hand select me chips from their stock but if the pic has 16 chips and I recieved 8 chips. Anyway whoever's fault (I think Corsair) I don't like spending 50 bones and waiting for something in the mail to downgrade my laptop
Manufacturer Response:First we have no control over what pictures Newegg posts on their website. They issue a disclaimer for this also. Second, it is always advisable to check with the manufacturer before buying memory for a notebook or OEM system. If we can assist you, please contact Customer Service: 888-222-4346

Works Great With Compaq V2000
Pros: Bought these for a client. They work perfect with her Compaq V2000 laptop - ATI Radeon Xpress 200m Chipset with AMD Mobile Sempron 1800MHz (1.8GHz).
Cons: NONE!!
Other Thoughts: THANK YOU to: reviewer "Cotton Eye Joe" - your review sold my client on these memories, they are working just as good for her as they did for you. --- I've been buying hardware from NewEgg for over 4-yrs; never disappointed and I really like they're new "Egg Saver" shipping option, got these in the same amount of time and for much less $$ in shipping costs.

Pros: None
Cons: Would not Post in Dell Inspiron 1100.

No Go on a Compaq NX-9010
Pros: Price, Availability
Cons: Although the specs are what are called for per Crucial's website, these do not work in a HP/Compaq nx9010 notebook. Result from install: No response from notebook on power up. The replacement that seems to work from the Newegg guided configurator are out of stock right now.
Other Thoughts: NewEgg user reviews on a slower DDR 266 (2100) speed Corsair product, newegg #N82E16820145482, seem to indicate that they work in a nx9010 notebook. Haven't gotten them yet, so I'll see...just wondering about the 266 vs. 333 performance difference.

Pros: Price
Cons: Did not work in DELL Inspiron 5100
Manufacturer Response:Unfortunately, it appears that you bought the wrong memory for your laptop. The Inspiron 5100 is rated for PC2100 memory, not PC2700. Hopefully Newegg can assist you with a refund or exchange for the proper memory. Also, for future reference, here is a link to our memory utility that will help customers find the correct memory for their systems.

Brought new life to an older laptop
Pros: It's solid memory for the price. Same chips on these DIMMs as on the non-value RAM. A snap to install and a very inexpensive way to boost performance and/or bring life back to an aging laptop.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I ordered 2 of these and upgraded my mom's Dell Inspiron 1150 from 384MB to 1GB. Bam!! Amazing increase in app loading and multi-tasking.

Cons: DHL "Smart Mail" was delivered in damaged package, and one stick missing. Newegg agreed to supply that with no hassle.
Issue #2: I goofed up, ordering the wrong speed (PC2700, DDR 333) for a Dell Inspiron 5100, which wants PC2100 DDR 266. Newegg gave me an RMA, again with little hassle, for a refund - 15% restocking fee.
Other Thoughts: Only after testing the one received chip in the original shipment and finding the machine totally unable to boot with it, did I research the memory compatibility issue with the Inspiron 5100. This machine is notoriously picky about memory: several users have tried third-party memory and had the same experience as I did. Tips received in forums: (1) Flash BIOS to v. A32 (latest). (2) Beware of timing issues. (3) Even with all specs met, some third party memory won't work. Manufacturer aftermarket memory is indeed PC2700, but I could not find its latency specs on their website.

Great
Pros: quick fix for a 4-year-old laptop. I can now boot it up without having to wait 5-10 minutes (was still using 256 MB, which is just sad).
Cons: Um...I can't see it while using it?
Other Thoughts: Ordered it and selected 3-day guaranteed service...got it within 24 hours. Wow. Newegg Rocks!!

Cost Effective Upgrade
Pros: If you have a laptop with less than 1GB of RAM, this is the most cost effective upgrade regardless of your operating system. This memory type is now very inexpensive and the vendor very responsive if there is a problem.
Cons: Best to buy a matching pair to avoid timing or latency issues. The pair should approach your unit's max.
Other Thoughts: Verify compatibility or type at any 'memory selector' website.

Did the job!
Pros: Well considering the V2000 Compaq my cousin had wasn't what I would call a 'good' computer, but this memory did make a hellacious difference. Of course any computer running windows XP going from 256 to 1 gig helps.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: Worked great on a Compaq V2000

Laptop Memory
Pros: Two sticks of 512mb memory ordered for an older Toshiba Satellite laptop. One stick was DOA, so I removed it and inserted the old 256mb stick paired with the new Corsair memory. Everything worked fine. The memory was recognized and the computer booted with no problems. The laptop's performance was increased significantly even with the two unmatched memory modules.
Cons: Other than the bad chip, I've never really had any complaints about Corsair's memory.
Other Thoughts: Newegg's customer service was Johnny-on-the-Spot with this. After phoning in the complaint about the DOA chip, the next morning UPS was knocking at the door with a replacement module. Way to go Newegg!!!

Not good
Pros: Half of it works okay. RMA was quick.
Cons: My desktop only recognizes 256mg not 512. Second stick that was sent as a replacement was the same: Only 256 recognized. This was for an e-machine laptop. The memory selector tool said it should work, but it doesn't.
Manufacturer Response:If the memory selector indicates compatibility and the system is only showing 1/2 of the installed amount, it's possible that a bios update from the manufacturer is needed. Also, you should not mix this memory with your original memory as this can cause issues. Corsair Technical Support: 888-222-4346

It works
Pros: It works.
Cons: It's old? It's also a lot more expensive than I think it should be. But if you have an old laptop, what can you do?

Should have double checked the specs. :-/
Pros: I assume it works, if your system can handle it.
I ordered these, but needed the 266 :-/
Cons: Didn't work for my specific laptop (HP pavillion 4540us)
Other Thoughts: Hoping to get the 266 parts for a good price from NewEgg (and that it revives my drooping laptop)
