Stable and good speed Cons: It took 2 dead sticks to find one that works but the one that does works really well. Other Thoughts: I dont know if newegg had a bad batch or what but if you get one that works you will be happy with it. N/A Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week	2/7/2006 6:46:08 AM Great RAM for A8N-SLI Premium Pros: Copper heatspreaders are never a bad thing. Memory, while used with an identical stick in my A8N-SLI Premium, will do 220 at 2-3-2-7 1T Timings, 100% stability. Cons: With the A8N, even with the latest BIOS, the SPD will pick up two sticks of this RAM as being only 200MHz DDR instead of 400MHz. You have to manually set it in the BIOS for 400MHz. Also, do NOT go above 2.7v on the A8N with two sticks of this RAM. Other Thoughts: Does just as well as any other OCZ Platinum stick that I've used, 2GB of this with BF2 means levels load up in less than 30 seconds 100% of the time, less than 15 seconds about 40% of the time. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Needed to be sent in with an RMA and replaced, but when it did, it was worth it. Somehow was detected as being dual channel on my non-dual channel PC here. Totally reliable 100%, killer heat spread, makes Kingston and Corsair and the like look like a total Joke with blazing 2-3-2-5 cas times. Overclocks like a MAD Man on speed and basically Hammers almost anything out there period. Cons: ZERO CONS Other Thoughts: What can I say, this memory screams. Under Windoze, my computer would crash 3 or 4 times a day, but now I'm running SuSe Linux 10.0, hasn't crashed yet. I ran Memtest 86 overnight with no errors. It was easy to tell the difference between running battlefield 2 on a 1 GB, and a 2 GB. It went from stuttering in the beginning (1 GB) to smooth as butter(2 GB)! This is a great choice! Comments: first things first this ram is the best ram ive ever encounterd, ran right off the bat im only runing one at the moment but soon ill be ordering 3 more for future MOTHERBOARED. its great runing a gig on one bank feels finda like dual channel is activated doe to cas being 2 , but i can imagine what it will be like having another stick intalled. ive been going threw so many sticks cause my asus a7n 8x-e deluxe is very picky what i stick in. but im saying bye to kingston for a while and hello OCZ. analogdecay Tech Level: Ownership:	9/28/2005 12:15:18 AM confusing Comments: The ram is very reliable, no problems or errors under strenious tests. But when i first got it the timings where 2-5-5-8. Which is way off, after increasing voltage and trying to get 2-3-2-5 it would not boot. Then i changed them to 2-3-3-6 and running stable ever since. I would just say make sure your motherboard/power supply can handle this( i have a 500W PSU) over all i say its worth the money(ive had many faulty value ram) this is one thing you should not cheap out on.
