Rating + 5 Excellent So far

Pros: Full size
Bluetooth!
OS-Independent
User Replaceable battery
Use Alakaline or Rechargable
Tons of buttons

Cons: Left/Right agnostic which means you lose some ergonomics.

Other Thoughts: Just received the mouse, came with 2100mw NiMH rechargable battery. Manf data of Oct 2007 - so yeah, I don't believe they sell many of these. Turned on and held connect for what seemed like 1 minute, ubuntu picked it right up and worked instantly.

Rating + 4 Nice Mouse

Pros: Works fine with my Dell's laptop BT, so no need for the dongle. I also didn't unpack the battery charging station since I already have rechargeable AAs always at hand. Tracks well. Nice size and heft. Battery life seems good so far. Much better alternative than the 3/4 scale notebook mouse. I use this with a Logitech diNovo Edge BT keyboard without any issues.

Cons: The left "back" and right "forward" buttons are oddly placed, and hard to get used to at first. Like all BT devices, it takes a moment to wake up. Mine was manufactured October 2007 (?), so they must not sell a whole lot of these things.

Other Thoughts: As I write this, if you are looking for a full size BT mouse with a "back" button, this is your only alternative. I tried the MS Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000, but returned it when I found it's size and button placement to be uncomfortable.

Rating + 5 Great Mouse, Works with Macs too!

Pros: This mouse just feels good in your hand. I'm a lefty and hate those right-hand only mice. Thank you Microsoft for producing a top-of-line mouse and making it non-hand specific. Furthermore, the button placement of buttons 4 & 5 are not in a place you keep accidentally hitting. Finally, since this is a bluetooth mouse it does work with bluetooth enable Macs without having to use the supplied dongle. My iMac discovered and recognized this mouse as a mouse and it just worked.

Cons: I initially had trouble getting the recharge stand to charge the mouse.

Rating + 1 Possibly the worst mouse I have ever owned...

Pros: Hmm, it is bluetooth and has a docking pad so recharging is easy.. but see the cons.

Cons: Had this mouse well over a year and have had nothing but trouble.

1. Microwave interferes
2. Netgear router interferes
3. docking station doesnt always connect with the mouse fully causing no charge.
4. Laser so uses batteries VERY fast

There are many more things about this mouse that just makes it horrible. The metal hand rest erodes after a month or so. I am to the point where I want to take a hammer to it. The mouse also lockes up about 3 or 4 times an hour for aprox 5 seconds.

Other Thoughts: One of these days microsoft is going to make SOMETHING that is actually user friendly and good. Back to Logitech for me... should have never left.....

Rating + 4 Excellent mouse!

Pros: Great ergonomic shape, positive button response, silky smooth trackwheel, and extremely long battery life. I am using mine with a Macbook Pro (I know, sacrilege, but the Apple BT Mighty Mouse SUCKS) and I have had no problems. Tracking is awesome and all the buttons work well with Expose' and Spaces.

Cons: Sometimes has difficulty starting the charging process when I first put it on the dock. I have to pick it up and set it down a couple of times before it will start.

Drivers for Mac OS X seem to be lacking as I eperienced some strange issues using them. Without this issue, I would give it 5 eggs.

Other Thoughts: I wound up using the built-in Mac BT driver instead of the MS one because it seemed to be less prone to "jitters" and other weird issues than the MS one.

I wish Logitech would make a full-size bluetooth mouse with more than 2 buttons and scroll/click wheel.

Rating + 2 Good, but bad?

Pros: Good tracking, fantastic for detailed use, as in Photoshop work.

Very smooth scrolling action.

Cons: The side left button broke and got pushed inside the mouse. I dont do any crazy mouse button pushing either.

The so called "aluminum" finish ontop of the mouse is TERRIBLE! Within the first 5 months of use it started to break apart. Now it looks like ugly aluminum with hundreds of teeny potholes in it revealing the plastic underneath it!

I've tried this mouse on three computers, the mouse will lag when the computer is doing tasks that use alot of network bandwidth. Probably a wireless router frequency issue. Though I wont consider this a con as I expected this when I purchased it.

Another issue, is my mouse did NOT come with any instruction manual. When I had originally plugged it into the computer the mouse did not work (was not syncing), had to figure out myself how to push the buttons to get it to finally sync!

Other Thoughts: When it was brand new, it was the best mouse I had ever had. 5 months down the road I am sad to even think I bought this mouse. I truly respect Microsoft products, but this mouse made me move to Logitech, which I am happy I moved to as I have not had any problems yet.

Buy this for casual use, because if you dont the aluminum on the top is going to wear off.

Rating + 2 disappointing

Pros: nice feel, particularly smooth scrolling wheel, holds charge quite well

Cons: Noticeable lag on mouse wake-up. Somewhat jumpy movement when trying to execute high precision operations.

Other Thoughts: Left button started sticking, reduced travel in about 6 months of use. It continued to get worse further down the road. I expected a higher quality product at that price point.

Rating + 3 Not Microsoft's Best Bluetooth Mouse

Pros: It uses Bluetooth, which frees me from having yet another 2.4GHz wireless standard around my PC. Microsoft's first full size *desktop* Bluetooth mouse with recharging capabilities.

Cons: The two side buttons, are very awkwardly placed. The older Intellimouse 5-button standard (two on the left side) was much easier to use. Since recharging this mouse uses +5v, they should have included an USB cable just to power the recharging cradle, in addition to the AC "wall wart" (not everyone has a spare AC outlet handy just for their mouse). Does not support the taskbar power level indicator and low battery warning, that Microsoft's previous Bluetooth mice had.

Other Thoughts: I was eventually able to successfully install this on my existing WIDCOMM based Bluetooth transceiver.

Rating + 4 Still the best Bluetooth mouse

Pros: Very smooth, so far I have not seen any of lag issues described. Some of the odd features others have described (side button placement, no "click feedback" when scrolling) I have actually grown to like very much. I am using it via built-in Bluetooth on my MBP, and tossed the included dongle.

Cons: Setup on a MacBook Pro was challenging at best. So far, it appears it cannot be "paired" at all, but that may not really be a problem. It requires you use the "empty passkey" option. For optimal performance, I *had* to install Intellipoint. Mouse drivers should be a thing of the past by now. When waking from sleep, the mouse "freezes" between 1 and 8 times (although usually only once, or four times if it has been a while since last boot) before the connection becomes stable.

Other Thoughts: Why can't anyone make a great Bluetooth mouse? This is still the best I have used, and the "Might Mouse" is just AWFUL. I have to imagine that this is an attainable goal, and will keep trying.

Rating + 2 Lemon

Pros: Great overall design, full-size, BT mouse with battery indicator and really nice dock to charge it.

Cons: Side buttons _horribly_ misplaced - seriously. My main complaint though is the latency and lag. Mind you I was not using the supplied bluetooth dongle, but the lag made this mouse 110% unusable. I knew after 1 hour of use that it was going to be returned. I would NOT recommend this mouse. I ended up getting a bluetooth mouse from the same manufacturer (Microsoft) that works much better.

Other Thoughts: I was (attempting) to use this mouse with my new Intel MacBook Pro and OS X (10.5.4). I would recommend the Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000... smaller but well built and functional.

Rating + 2 Lags

Pros: Sleek looking, rechargable, bluetooth

Cons: Terrible lag. After about 2 months of use the mouse started to lag. At first it was once in awhile but now its rendered useless to me. Trying to move the cursor across the screen feels like your trying to drag a dump truck. Very frustrating and now I have to use an old $12 wired mouse because I'm sick to think I just waisted $80 and would have to spend more money to replace it with another wireless mouse.

Other Thoughts: I tried to fix this problem by making sure it was fully charged, there was no interference or obstruction from the transmitter to the mouse and I have the settings in Intellipoint 6.2 at full performance. I've also tried setting the mouse to use software based and hardware and nothing fixed it. Too bad Microsoft only gives 90 days support. Be aware

Rating + 5 Best Mouse EVER

Pros: Enough range to suit probably anyone's needs, aluminum part is cool, the side buttons are really useful for navigating folders and the internet, as their default function is left button back and right button forward. I use this mouse on my desktop computer and it is very good and sensitive and quick to react. Mine has never had a dead battery, even if i use it for 2-3 days while not recharging it or turning it off. The charge station is great, too.

Cons: The stupid mouse click wheel sucks. just don't use that. i dont (the wheel itself works great, and is very smooth to move around, but the click part sucks.) and i guess it's a little expensive, but, eh, it's a great product, and you get what you pay for

Other Thoughts: the mouse is big for a wireless one, and it feels weird using it at first, but after awihle it gets very comfortable. also, if you don't like rechargeable batteries, you can just use regular AAs too.

Pros: Easy to connect, long battery life, good range, stays connected, recharges quick, comfortable, good buttons tracks great.

Cons: Could be a little cheaper.

Other Thoughts: I really like this mouse and use it to death for gaming, music editing, photo editing etc. It has yet to die on me and I have probably charged it about 3 time since owning it and have used it every day.

Rating + 5 Best Mouse I've Owned

Pros: It just works! I pluged in the bluetooth usb thumbdrive and it immediately picked up the bluetooth mouse and was working like a champ in seconds. It's very comfortable and smooth and has exceeded all my expectations. Buy it if you want an excellent bluetooth mouse.

Cons: It's expensive. Nothing else besides that, this is seriously the best mouse I have ever had!

Other Thoughts: Works great in Ubtuntu 7.10! and Vista.

Rating + 4 Great bluetooth mouse

Pros: Comfortable feel. Very easy to set up. Charge lasts a very long time

Cons: I use the back/foward buttons a lot. The back button placement is a bit weird, but the forward button is practically unusable because it is on the right side of the mouse. You have to move your hand to be able to click it.

Rating + 5 Solid full-sized mouse

Pros: This is an excellent full-sized mouse, fitting nicely in my hand. The laser tracking is very smooth and responsive. Wireless range is enough to sit so far from your monitor that you can't see what you're clicking. Scroll wheel is very smooth, and easily configurable via supplied software. Came with a single rechargeable AA battery, so using a regular alkaline battery in a pinch would be no problem. Battery life has lasted me days and days on a full charge. Supplied bluetooth dongle worked fine, so does my 3rd party BT adapter running Widcomm stack.

Cons: Scroll wheel side-to-side clicking is a little touchy. Coming from a pretty old mouse with a stiff scroll wheel, my scrolling finger was too buff for this mouse. Every time I would scroll downwards I would accidentally click. Took me about a week to learn to finesse my scrolling, now no problems.

Other Thoughts: Microsoft supplied BT dongle/drivers did not support BT audio, so I can't use it with my hands-free headsets for Skype/GMail. Then again, nobody ever claimed they could! No problem using my old 3rd party dongle and trusty Widcomm stack!

Rating + 5 Suprisingly satisfied

Pros: Highly accurate and very responsive, the mouse outperformed my every expectation.

Cons: The included version of their software has a rather critical flaw in XP if you are using an onboard bluetooth module (which I am) that causes the software to crash after resuming from standby. An update to the software downloaded manually from the microsoft website cleared up this issue rather easily. However, loading the mouse screen to adjust settings still causes several glitches including a warning that a bluetooth module was not found (again, I bought this so I could use my onboard BT instead of a dongle.)

Other Thoughts: Despite the software annoyances I am still very satisfied with the mouse itself and the fact that it worked pretty much as expected with my onboard bluetooth module.

Rating + 4 Works as advertised...

Pros: Comfortable, fits well in hand, connects quickly to internal BT stack on my HP dv9700t, apparent low battery drain, ambidextrous design, rechargable.

Cons: Ambidextrous design puts the forward button (for right handed folks) in an inconvenient spot. Really have to move your ring finger to a not natural position to get to it. Upon first charge, the light remained green the entire time, so I didn't really know when it was fully charged.

Rating + 5 I LOVE this mouse!

Pros: Attractive, no cord, very small receiver, smooth scroller, perfect fit for the hand.

Cons: I wish there was some way to check the battery life. You only know it's just about to die when the red light on the mouse starts to glow or when the mouse cursor doesn't move.

Other Thoughts: I've been using this mouse since September 2007 and I have been very very happy with it. My keyboard (which compliments this mouse very nicely) has USB ports on the back so I have the mouse receiver plugged into keyboard as opposed to the back of the computer.

Rating + 5 Sloid Mouse

Pros: Bought this for an Eee 4 GB. Wasn't sure if it would work with Linux...it does. Straight out of the box, just plugged in teh dongle and away I went. Mouse is good quality, have no problems using it on all surfaces. Haven't used it in windows yet.

Cons: Charging stand is a little interesting...I can think of better ways to make the mouse mount the charger. But no matter...not a huge deal. It works as it is. The connect buttons on the dongle and mouse are hard to get at. Maybe I just have fat fingers...

Other Thoughts: All buttons except side scrolling work with Linux. Left side wants to open some webpage in firefox (perhaps a M$ ad, I dunno...), right side doubles as right click. Not sure if you can change it in Linux, I didn't bother to look.

Rating + 3 So so mouse

Pros: Looks cool.
Tracking is excellent.

Cons: Don't like the right side button which is not easy to use. Much prefer the 2 side buttons on the left hand side.
Sometimes the mouse is not responsive when first start windows until either the driver is loaded or a bluetooth connection is made. I had a wired optical mouse connected also and it was responsive long before the blue tooth mouse was.

Other Thoughts: I would return it and get something else if I could but apparently I've passed the return date with Newegg's policy.

Rating + 2 only buy if you're not picky at all

Pros: --5 buttons
--Bluetooth connectivity: The bluetooth connectivity does work fine for me in Windows without the dongle (I can't vouch for/against macs).
--Responds quickly in general. I never have to wait for it when I return to the computer.

Cons: --Precision: This is my biggest issue. The precision of the cursor is terrible. Despite many positive reviews, the cursor is unacceptably jumpy. It simply doesn't move smoothly across the screen, and it's noticable during regular usage. If you're trying to edit something graphically with precision, forget it. In MS Paint I try to edit individual pixels while zoomed in and it's extremely frustrating. The cursor jumps, or moves a little left/right before coming back to where I actually moved it. Bottom line: definitely don't get this if you will ever need good precision, and I would say don't get it even if you don't need good precision. There are better mice out there.
--Middle button: As other reviewers have stated, the middle button is difficult to push. This wasn't a major issue for me, but is still annoying.
--Scroll wheel: The smooth scroll feels OK to me, however (like the cursor) it is unpredictable. Ocassionally it won't respond for a moment or two which makes no sense since

Other Thoughts: Most reviewers (even professional reviews) do not seem to care much about its lack of precision, but I found it to be a serious problem. I'm not even a graphic artist (who would certainly hate this mouse), I'm just a proficient mouse user and the lack of precision annoys me to no end. Almost all reviews I've seen ignore this problem, but I'm not the only one who has noticed this problem.

Before buying this mouse, I used Microsofts original wired intellipoint mouse. The precision was great and the middle button/scroll wheel were perfect. Can Microsoft not even equal their own mouse from 5 years ago?

Rating + 5 Works great!

Pros: Synchronized with ease, laser tracking is excellent, near-zero Bluetooth latency.

Full-sized mouse! (not a mini mouse)

Cons: A little on the expensive side... but worth every penny!

Other Thoughts: I was able to synchronize this with my Dell laptop easily, didn't even touch the included Bluetooth dongle or the driver CD (laptop has integrated Bluetooth). Tested playing some first person shooters, and it was very responsive.

Rating + 4 Good, but not perfect mouse

Pros: 1. Connected to my Thinkpad T60 easily once I figured out the "My Bluetooth Places thing" (see below)
2. Lag is barely detectable
3. Looks really good
4. The recharging station works much better than the upright chargers used by other manufacturers.

Cons: 1. The documentation doesn't say much about using a laptop's built-in Bluetooth; rather, the documentation almost INSISTS that you use the included USB dongle. This flaw is ridiculous because the main draw of a Bluetooth mouse is that you don't have to use a dongle.
2. The middle click requires an extreme amount of force.
3. The back and forward buttons are hard to reach. Microsoft should have stuck with the thumb buttons.
4. Scroll wheel has no tactile feedback click.

Other Thoughts: 1. If you have a Thinkpad and are running WinXP, don't use Microsoft's "Bluetooth Devices" Program in the control panel to discover the mouse -- it might not work. Instead, use the "My Bluetooth Places" system in "My Computer" to discover the mouse.
2. My con points 2 - 4 are personal preferences. Others might not mind.
3. I would have given this product a "3", but it lucked out because there are so few competing Bluetooth mice out there.

Rating + 4 Not all that

Pros: Has long range via bluetooth. Accurate tracking. Pretty long battery life. Charger is cool. The systray program does not tell the battery level. Have to wait for the red light of death.

Cons: This is not made for a right hand only, so the two thumb buttons have been moved to either side ot the mouse. This sucks for the forward/back I used to have on my old mouse. The bluetooth receiver is flimsy. If you accidentally give it a whack, it will start to flake out. Since it is bluetooth, I noticed if I used my bluetooth headset with my blackberry, my headset would not work, or my mouse would not work. Be wary of that! Bluetooth crosstalk! Aluminum is no aluminum. It is a spray appliqué. It wears off. Mine shows the white plastic underneath.

Other Thoughts: ok mouse, but the forward/back buttons being on either side of the mouse really make this mouse irritating. Bluetooth transceiver crosstalk with blackberry no good. Going to get a wireless 5000

Rating + 5 Freedom from wires and receiver sticks

Pros: I work on a laptop for about 8 hours a day in mixed locations (home, coffee shop, airport, etc.), and simply cannot use a track pad. This is an expensive mouse, but it's worth every penny. Comes with a receiver stick but you don't have to use it if your computer has Bluetooth. It's always connected to the computer now, even after switching it off. ZERO lag despite sitting unused, even after an hour or so. Ergonomically, it has a nice size and shape, feeling comfortable in your hand. Charging station and rechargeable battery have lasted over 2 months.

Cons: Difficult to figure out how to pair this with a computer without using the receiver stick... documentation provides no instructions. You've gotta hold that Bluetooth button down for a LONG time. I was about to return the mouse until I figured it out.

Other Thoughts: If you like using the center button a lot to open up new browser tabs, etc., the center button will take some getting used to. It is pretty stiff for clicking. On the other hand, it scrolls very smoothly.

Rating + 4 over priced

Pros: RF frequency; long range; pretty looking.

Cons: i followed the directions for charging the included battery for the first time. and then i recharged accordingly. anyhow, the battery wouldn't recharge. i never got around to testing whether it was the battery or the recharging unit... either way, one of them died and died quickly. i just use a regular AA battery now and it works great. the only thing that sucks about it is that it only holds 1 AA battery. most mice that aren't rechargeable support 2 AA batteries...
Also, the forward button on the right side of the mouse is awkward. I prefer the old way where they had both buttons over by the thumb.

Other Thoughts: it does exactly what i needed it to do and that is the ability to be 15+ feet away from the base unit without any distortion in the signal. im disappointed with the battery dieing so quickly, but not as disappointed as the "forward" button being on the right side of the mouse instead of the left. it'd have received a 5 from me if the button was on the other side.

Pros: Looks great. Feels good in hand. Wireless, which means less clutter on your desk.

Cons: Terrible lag! For me, this mouse has noticeable lag all the time. But the worst part is that sometimes it will lag extremely bad. Quite the frustrating experience especially considering the price tag. Aluminum only covers a small portion of this mouse - not sure why they market this aspect of the mouse so much.

Other Thoughts: For people who use their mouse casually to access the web, check e-mail, etc, this mouse would be ok. For anyone who plays games, or uses the computer a good amount, this is not a good buy.

Rating + 5 Wicked Endurance!

Pros: I've been using this mouse on a very unfriendly environment for electronics - ENG and high-end video editing. One can imagine the stuff and objects that litter our work: try coffee spills, if not cigarette butts and ashes.

There is really no need to install drivers. Just plug in the receptor.

I bought it for my personal use since I could always take it with me after work. Also for its bluetooth reception since IR devices have the tendency to interfere with signals and generate static noise on our work.

For almost two months now, I myself have dropped it countless times (at least 20+ times off a three feet desk drop) and even one time, stepped on it with full weight. It's been spilled on at least four times on my watch. Not to mention the fault of my peers who use it occasionally. The aluminum casing is a plus for this type of brutal stress. It has never failed in its precision. Nor gives a hint that it will.

Cons: Occasionally, its hard to find the unit on a very messy table (this is the advantage of wired mice in our case).

Other Thoughts: Would using a second unit for another system on the same table interfere with its bluetooth signals? My co-editor would be buying one. Stay tuned.

Pros: Great mouse, pairs via buil-in bluetooth in the ThinkPad T60p. No need to use any dongles that are included. Mouse works great, no lag.

Rating + 5 The Perfect Mouse

Pros: Works perfectly with the integrated bluetooth card in my Inspiron 1720 using Vista. Feels and looks encredible. Very responsive, doesn't have "sleep lag" like some wireless mice when you've been typing for while, then go to move it. Brushed aluminum feels cool to the touch and looks gorgeous. Side scrolls effortlessly, which is a problem in many mice.

Cons: My right button click is just ever so slightly softer than the left click.
A bit pricy when I bought mine (but worth it!)

Other Thoughts: MAKE SURE YOU TURN THE MOUSE "ON" BEFORE YOU CHARGE IT. I didn't bother to read the instuctions; don't make the same mistake I did.

Rating + 4 Quite satisfied but not blown away

Pros: Stylish, precise, rechargeable. DOES work without the Microsoft dongle... for me anyway, using Bluetooth 2.0 on a PC. The "instant viewer" and magnifier features are useful.

Cons: If you're accustomed to clicking the mouse wheel button on links to open new tabs in your browser, this mouse takes some tweaking.

If you press the wheel straight down, rather than pressing it inward slightly, it doesn't activate the button, although it still makes the click sound. That takes some getting used to.

Also, since the mouse wheel button is set to "instant viewer," sometimes that feature will kick in, rather than opening a new tab. To correct this, you have to enable program-specific button settings, setting the mouse wheel button to middle-click in both Firefox and IE7. You can also simply set one of the other two secondary buttons to middle-click like I did.

This mouse does feel much more expensive than most Microsoft mice, but the right and left click are just the slightest bit wobbly, which makes it feel kind of cheap.

Clicking the secondary button on the right seems really unnatural, obviously placed there for aesthetics, and for retaining left-ha

Other Thoughts: All things considered, I think this is a serious contender to the Logitech Revolution MX. I haven't used the Logitech, so I can't offer any comparison. You might want to wait until September to get this mouse with the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 8000, which is a really sweet setup.

Rating + 5 Great Mouse!

Pros: Nice feel and response. Solid build and well designed.

Cons: Doesn't work with some (older) bluetooth devices.

Other Thoughts: Purchased this to use with a Mac Pro running Vista Business. works great! Some older bluetooth modules are reported to not function with this mouse but I can attest to the T60 Thinkpads and Mac Pro built-in bluetooth working without any trouble.

Other Thoughts: copied directly from Microsoft's website:

Computer/Operating System
Requires a PC that meets the requirements for and has installed one of these operating systems: Windows Vista® or Windows® XP.

IMPORTANT: For best results and Bluetooth® device compatibility, use the included Microsoft® Mini Bluetooth Transceiver. Service Pack 2 is required with Windows XP.

Rating + 5 Excellent Mouse!!!!

Pros: 1) FULL SIZE!!! For the longest time, the only bluetooth mice were minis... like it takes SO much extra room in a laptop case...lol
2) Range - has worked easily from 30+ feet
3) Good feel and smooth operation.
4) Rechargeable and battery charge lasts a long time.
5) Good response, even when waking it up.
6) Comes with dongle if needed.

Ive had this mouse working on my laptop with no problems for months on my laptop which is partitioned for tri-boot with XP Pro, Ubuntu & the other partition changes between PCLinux, SuSE and whatever I want to play with.

Cons: Price is a little high, even though this IS a great quality mouse.

Other Thoughts: For people who say they couldnt get this working without using the supplied dongle, do some reading. IT DOES WORK without the dongle. I built my laptop and installed the MSI bluetooth/wireless combo mini PCI card. This mouse was recognized immediately and works perfect with this stack. Just because it doesnt work with yours, DONT blame it on the mouse. MS supplies a dongle with this mouse, and make NO claim for it to work with EVERY bluetooth stack out there today. Thats like buying a complete chevy crate motor, and griping because you cant use the ford intake that you already have. If youre planning on NOT using the dongle with this, then read ahead of time about compatibility with your stack. The MAC users... you'd think you guys would know by now, if it doesnt say "MAC compatibile" then dont count on it working. While the bluetooth technology itself works on anything, driver support and compatibility is another story.

Rating + 3 I hav to use the dongle!!??

Pros: Looks and feels good. Seems fairly precise.

Cons: I bought this bluetooth mouse for my laptop that has an internal bluetooth adapter, only to find i have to use the dongle that comes with the mouse anyways. Defeating the whole purpose of buying this mouse.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this mouse if you don't want to have to keep track of a dongle.

Rating + 3 not impressed

Pros: attractive packaging. i like that it has a back button.

Cons: this is a bluetooth mouse that requires a dongle to operate. it will not sync with my macbook's bluetooth adaptor. also very expen$ive

Other Thoughts: i thought that purpose of having a bluetooth mouse is so i wouldn't have to bother with the extra piece of hardware.

Rating + 5 Excellent

Pros: Excellent Bluetooth mouse. After some trepidation in reading the reviews, I decided on to buy this product. It is responsive, rechargeble, and elegant with many options.

Cons: none noted to date.

Other Thoughts: I charge this, perhaps, once a week and have no battery issues. There was an earlier comment about a lag in the response. I have not appreciated this except after very long periods of none use (>20 minutes). Perhaps, this is because I have the Performance vs. Economy bar cranked to Performance side, which likely extends time before a "sleep" mode is initiated.

Rating + 5 expensive, but worth it

Pros: FULL SIZE!!! rechargeable, battery indicator, easily and fastly recognized. I bought this months ago elsewhere as it was very hard to find at that time. The price nwo is about the same. I dont understand the lack of FULL SIZE bluetooth mice, THATS why I jumped on this when I found it. Who says you HAVE to use bluetooth with a laptop? Why not use it with your HTPC? And even if you do use it with a laptop as I do, who says all laptop mice have to be "minis"? This mouse is responsive, and had no problem being recognized and setup by my built in wireless/bluetooth on my MSI notebook. It DOES come with the USB dongle, though I didnt need it.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: its VERY expensive, yes. I have used $15 MS Explorer mice and they have lasted forever. I wanted a good quality, full size bluetooth mouse for my laptop that was rechargeable. Even though ti goes to a power saving mode after non use, to save batteries, its very responsive and wakes up fast when you go to use it again. Ive got a laptop case, it holds more than a laptop, so it has room to carry a full size mouse.

Rating + 5 High Quality Stuff...

Pros: Natural feel, easy access to forward/back buttons, long battery life, docking station, replaceable battery, aluminum body, bluetooth, solid build quality.

Cons: Does not work well with built-in bluetooth on Mac. Tends to act up when near active 802.11b device. Also you pay a premium for what you get.

Other Thoughts: I had a Logitech MX1000 before, it began acting up so Logitech sent me an MX Revolution. I couldn't stand it! It was awkward and laggy, left my hand cramping up. This one gets back to basics, but in a high-tech way. It's not my MX1000(R.I.P.), but it gets the job done better than other new ones I've tried. Probably the best one Microsoft has made so far.
