Amazing sound, cheap construction
Pros: Utterly superb sound, will outperform anything up to the $100 range. Very comfortable, almost weightless. Longer chord than the style usually gets.
Cons: Ear clip configuration makes it difficult, if not impossible to fit tightly to the ear. Visibly weak construction, but thats common to the style.
Other Thoughts: Bought these to replace a pair of a similar style. Been buying a new pair every 6-18 months, as the shoddy construction noted in many other reviews is common to all headphones of this style, regardless of manufacturer. Either the ear clip is cheap or the wiring is botched. Always. It sucks, but the comfort/sound to price ratio has always been too good to buy anything else.
Unless you need noise canceling, these are the end-all to headphones.

Good Sound, Good Price!
Pros: Wow! The sound quality is as good or better than some sennheisers I had a little while back, at about one a fifth the price. Great punchy drivers that don't seem to "color" the sound.
No matter the music, these headphones deliver well with ample volume and clarity.
Cons: slightly odd fit but they work.
Other Thoughts: I think it's the best I've felt for "over the ear" One has to try them on I think to know if they are the right fit.

What can i say...
Pros: Good Bass Great clarity Good noise cancellation
Cons: Wiring could have been of a higher quality
Other Thoughts: Shipping was the BEST, as always by newegg. It amazes me how fast i recieved my order. Overall for the money I am VERY VERY happy. And as far as newegg is conserned, will DEF buy again, both from NEWEGG and from KOSS.

Quality vs. Price = Unbeatable
Pros: Best performance vs. price point. Do your homework and research these. The PortaPro (same 60ohm drivers with full headband at double the price), the KSC35 (extinct but same driver and different earclips at triple the price) and these have been the top of the heap for sub-$50 (and probably higher) headphones in audio quality for the last 25 yrs. This particular model is the best price point to get the quality you want. Senn PXs are their rivals.
Deleting the headband and using clips allows you to wear them under any kind of hat/helmet/in bed and they never fall off even after hours of jogging. Opinions do vary on the comfort but highly subjective.. Try someone else's for fit if possible first.
Lifetime warranty honored - Keep your invoice and you'll be able to get new ones if something breaks years later directly from Koss in WI.
Cons: The "earclip thing" can be new to some ppl but once you wear them for a while you'll find that earbuds are far less comfortable and fall out continuously if you don't sit still. The design comfort is dependent on the shape of your ears to some degree, they might be perfectly comfortable for one person and painful for another - not a reason to jump on here and post a negative review in all caps though. One design won't please everyone in comfort while it will in sound quality. Audio = objectively excellent while Fit = subjectively dependent ymmv.
The 60ohm titanium drivers' impedance means that they don't sound tinny or hollow and instead have full bass response, but naturally they will be slightly harder to drive on portable players, so if you have a weak/cheap player it might take full volume to drive them - not a con per se but just a heads up.
Other Thoughts: Writing up a review pointing out the quality of these so they remain popular and in stock because there needs to be at least one highly regarded and quality headphone on the market that costs less than a decent player itself. I can't find anything else comparable in this list up to 5X this price and I could look all over town at racks of junk at every B&M store without seeing a single reviewed product that gets anywhere near the fanfare these do. Buy.

Great for the price
Pros: They sound good. and their cheap.
Cons: the curved ear things, really hurt my ears after wearing them for awhile. i stretched them, and loosend them a little. and now its much better. also the ear things click into place, and even though it seems sturdy so far it is possible to loose one.
Other Thoughts: i thought about dropping an egg for comfort. but for the price these are great.

not sure why I keep buying this line
Pros: Sound is awesome. Bass is awesome. Lightweight. Very cool looking. You will feel exclusive because most of your friends won't know about KOSS line of headphones. Lifetime (limited) warranty is awesome - I've exercised this warranty, twice, on 10 year old KOSS headphones (the warranty is granted for all units purchased after 1989, mind you KOSS warns you that very old headphones will be replaced with newer models).
Cons: The build quality is terrible as evidenced by the fact that every KSC unit I buy breaks down within a year just from daily use, including the 75's. The ear latch is easily popped off the unit. If you have OCD and change the shape of one of the headphones' ear mold you will be spending an inordinate amount of time trying to match the other headphones ear latch to that same mold. Yeah this feature is so people can adjust the mold so to fit their ear but it is so hard to match the molds once you change the shape from the original out of the box.
Other Thoughts: I am not sure why I keep buying these headphones thinking that the next one will be better than the last. All the awesome sound quality is wasted because the KSC line of headphones are so cheaply made (thus their $10-15 price tag). I bought two KSC55's (one for me and my brother), both of them broke, and both of their replacements broke. I bought two of these KSC75's, both of them broke and I don't want to spend another $12 to replace them. The 55's had poor wiring and the wire split from daily use within a year, ALL FOUR OF THEM. Both 75's had the left headphone die within a year of use. For each headphone you want to replace you need to send KOSS $6 - yeah thats fine if the headphones that cost $50 or more, but not for $10-15 units. I am done buying this line of headphone...Next time I think I will spend the extra few bucks on higher quality headphones so I don't have to deal with high failure rates.

Pros: Sound Quality is WONDERFULl! If you need to hear your surroundings and yet not miss a beat of your music then this is the perfect set of headphones! Light weight and comfortable and stay on even while doing daily excercises.
Cons: It did take a day or two to get use to putting them on, but was very worth the effort!
Other Thoughts: I go by reviews at Newegg and very rare at any other site. I was not disappointed! In fact I am back buying a second set for my spouse. This is my first review and I did so, because the headphones are an outstanding value and the quality of sound makes it one of my best buys of the year! I have a $80 set of headphone that sound awful next to these!

Headphones
Pros: These things are really light and comfortable Sound quality is good
Cons: 1 ear clip popped off..
read other thoughts
Other Thoughts: 1 ear clip came off cause my friend sat on it. After i yelled at him, i just clipped it back in and its fine, and it has not came off again since then..
If you're not CRAZY with these then they are really good. I've had these headphones for like 5 months and nothing is wrong with them
I'm listening with them right now while typing this

Pros: Good sound quality, decent look. For the most part comfortable. Length of cord is fairly decent, atleast longer than some of the others I've owned.
Cons: Like a previous reviewer stated, the clip detaches from the earphone rather easily. The first time it happened I got it to snap back in nicely, the 2nd time just like an hour later for some reason I had a harder time getting it to snap into place so it can be quite an inconvenience.
Other Thoughts: Other than the earphones itself which I stated looked decent, the clip that holds it to your ear was unimpresive IMO. I also find it kind of difficult to just ease it onto my ear, but maybe my ears are just awkward.

Poor build quality ruins product
Pros: The sound is extremely good for the price. They're also extremely comfortable.
Cons: The clips are held onto the headphones by hope and an irrationally flimsy plastic clip. They pop off at the slightest stress in the wrong direction, and will quickly drive you nuts.
Other Thoughts: Why did they skimp on that tiny bit of design? These are easily some of the nicest cheap headphones I've ever owned except for that one glaring flaw.

Best for the price
Pros: These are the best headphones I have listened to until you get up to around $50. If that's the most important part to you (which it is to me), then these are the headphones for you.
Cons: The ear clip part does come off pretty easily. It keeps it from hurting your ears if they are pulled on, but they come off so easily that I've had them come off by putting them in my pocket. That being said, at the price point it's being offered at, the sound quality far outweighs this con.
Other Thoughts: They do let sound in and out. This can be a con for some, but it doesn't bother others. Usually, this creates better sound quality for the listener and the expense of bothering others who don't want to hear your music.

$200 headphones for $20
Pros: Amazing sound, amazing price. The best sounding headphones out of the wide selection of bargain (<$60) headphones i have ever owned.
Cons: The clips are kind of hokey, and I would have preferred a behind-the-neck setup than the clips on each speaker. The clips have only popped off of the headphone once in my backpack, so getting the clips lost is not as horrible as everyone has said. The headphones still deserve 5 eggs, even with these cheap clips.
Other Thoughts: Look at speaker/headphone forums across the internet. Polls of people's top 5 headphones include several hundred dollar headphones, and more often than not, these $20 ones.

Pretty good
Pros: Pretty good, sound for the money. Bass is pretty good, bf2 css masseffect all sound great!
Cons: Can't tell witch speaker is witch if both clips fall off at the same time, but i just went into css and had a friend shot from the right side of me .. haha i had them on backwards.. o.O( but nothing a little ink wont fix R-Right and L-Left) Also getting them to stay on my ears was somewhat of a pain having to bend them to fit just right .. they don't hurt and i forget i have them on most of the time.
Other Thoughts: If i did this again i would spend 5-10 dollars more and buy sony or a name brand ( not that sony is without there flaws, because they have them, believe you me but there a good company) but if you on a buget they'll do just fine ( sound wise ) If they'll fit you who knows i'm still not sure if my ears are to big or to small with these things. lol LOVE NEWEGG!!! spent thousand of dollars with them and ALWAYS WILL!

ALMOST like the PortaPros
Pros: I got these headphones TODAY [ordered YESTERDAY] and I am sure that makes you wonder why it says I've had them for more than a year - As soon as I played some music over them I could SWEAR it's as if I've gotten sonic replicas of my Koss PortaPros, headphones I've owned for many years now... I wanted to try out a version that doesn't have the metal head-band and I am not a hi-fi audiophile to be able to pin-point any tiny differences, I just know the mids and hi frequencies FEEL RIGHT and the bass hits HARD for such an affordable pair of headphones! I was afraid it was a bit of a gamble to purchase them because of how low they're priced compared to other sets out there and while I have to put their durability to the test I am already INCREDIBLY pleased by the sound for that kind of money - and don't assume I don't know what good sound sounds like, I've also bought from newegg (back in 2002) Sennheiser HD580s that I keep using as my primary headphones to this day.
Cons: Putting them on can be a bit tricky and they're not clearly marked LEFT and RIGHT [if you are worried about reversing channels by accidentally putting the headphones backwards which, by the way, shouldn't really be possible]
Other Thoughts: Newegg is incredible once again. I just put in my order yesterday and when I got the headphones this afternoon I could NOT believe it. Incredible price and super-quick delivery ... but then again this is why I've been shopping almost exclusively with these guys since 2002. Keep up the great job Newegg!!!

I used to like them
Pros: I used to like them, now I don't.
Cons: Right speaker has blown after a little more than a month- there's an annoying buzzing sound when any deep bass plays. I don't turn them up that loud.
Other Thoughts: The manufacture will replace them for $6. I'm going to just put that cash towards another brand.

I like them
Pros: They sound very good. I've been wearing them nearly all day at work for a couple of weeks and find them very comfortable. They're the largest over the ear clip on's I've run across, which I consider a good thing. Four foot cord means I can keep my mp3 player in my pocket and still have enough slack in the cord.
Cons: The ear clip can become unattached from the speaker, but I found it quick and easy to put back together.

Best cans for the buck!
Pros: These are amazing for the price. They sound better than my old $65 stereo headphones (aren't as massive and heavy too). After time these headphones are really comfortable and really fit snug (even with glasses). Some things sound better than real life! Even in games there is a massive sound difference. I can hear people sneaking up behind me and etc. These headphones are a MUST for people that still use their MP3 player's default headphones.
Cons: Clip on style wont work for everyone. It may take awhile to get used to it. Also, at times a longer cord would come in handy.
Other Thoughts: After reading a lot of reviews, I thought the clips would be really cheap. When I got these, the clips were much better than they looked. In fact, I think they are reinforced by some kind of metal.

Amazing for the price . BUT won't recommend
Pros: Amazing sound quality for under $20 Check the fantastic frequency range, great to have around. Due to my having a COWON D2 (not a, ugh Ipod), the 60 ohms play still play with plenty of oomf as my Cowon D2 portable vlows out at 74watts. Very light and comfy.
Cons: The big con, which is Why I gave this a 3 rather than a 5 is the inexplicable, faulty design that has a ridiculously unstable connection between the ear clip and the headphones. Mine even fell of when taking it out of the package. Not that easy to put back on (that is if farsighted like myself), but they keep coming apart. Unfortunately, in the falling off of the clip the headphone occurred without be realizing it, in a store and the ear clip is lost. With the ear clip lost, all you can do is throw out the headphones because you are left with a dangling headphone, covered with a pad that is useless. Nothing there to keep it next to the ear. I wrote them two days ago about the situation and I have yet to hear a reply from Koss. I would think about using some crazy glue to keep the clip connected to the headphones. The earclip style for anyone who wears glasses can be a kind pain to wear and can get tangled up with the glasses. If eyeglass wearers, ear clips are not a good id
Other Thoughts: What can I say. Quality wise the frequency range is amazing for the price and probably the best sounding under $20 headphones there are. BUT ...having the earclip fall off frequently and in my case, losing it makes it worthless. I am just amazed at what I consider unforgivably bad engineering on holding the clip to the earphones.

Favorite headphones
Pros: Best price to performance I have ever seen. I had these headphones for about two and a half years before they finally broke. Great bass and range of audio. Where I worked I was constantly snagging the wires. They managed to survive this by popping loose from the clips. However this was no problem. They snap back on. I punished these things and they survived it for a long time. Great for anything from Classical to heavy metal. The bass gives a good kick when you need it and fills in the audio for a rich sound.
Cons: The cause for their demise was due to the fact that I hooked the cord around a handle at work and turned around fast. This caused the wire to break in two. Product still worked however. Also the clip on style did not make firm contact with the ear draining some of the luster from the audio.
Other Thoughts: Most other headphones break along the jack leaving you with a temperamental connection or one headphone working. This never happened. I have sensitive ears and I was able to wear them with little discomfort. I even fell asleep with them on once. Wish I knew about the "Koss No questions asked Lifetime warranty" before I discarded the headphones. For a small price to cover return shipping they claim they will replace or repair your product.

Design Flaw?
Pros: Cheap, ok sound.
Cons: Like everyone else here is stating, the plastic ear holder is very sensitive, and comes off way too easily. One is lost and gone forever. These were for a relative that has a small ear deformity, and cant use earbuds, but doesn't like the over-the-head, or around-the-head earphones.
Other Thoughts: I need to replace these, but am very hesitant about purchasing these again. There are some that are made by sony, around the same price (Item #N82E16826159056) they are currently out of stock on, and will purchase from another retailer.

Great!
Pros: The bass isn't too strong and not too weak either and the sound is very clear, best thing about these is its got a lifetime warranty!
Cons: Don't mess with the clips attached to the headphones, they'll start to snap off very easily if you pull it off and them back on too many times...
Other Thoughts: I'd totally give these headphones a 4.5/5 instead because of the clip thing but if you're not bothered by that it's a 5 star item. Great price for these headphones, I hate to say this but they sound better than the headphones I use for my computer. ;_;

Koss KSC75 earphones
Pros: Very good sound quality, good bass, very attractive price, very light.
Cons: I find the design totally impractical unless the user is immobilized. The earphones separate fom the earclips at the slightest provocation and they go their separate ways. I had to re-attach them several times a day until one eaclip got lost, redering the earphones useless.
Other Thoughts: Did anyone test this product in real life before releasing it to the public? Was anyone thinking?

Amazing quality, poor long term build
Pros: Amazing sound quality for the price, good bass response, clip on is quite comfortable (clip material is similar to what is used in glasses, similar shape)
Cons: Loose fitting (sound is not as deep as it could be, which is apparent when you push them to your ears manually), clips come off easily, wiring is cheap
Other Thoughts: I've had a few pair of these now, I keep buying them even though they seem to break pretty fast because of the amazing value. The sound quality is far beyond what you would expect from 12 dollar headphones (that price level you usually would just expect some sort of sound to come out, nothing close to this quality). It may be more cost effective to go with something with a better build quality, however: my first pair survived one ear piece falling into a glass of water (after drying out), but later I accidentally yanked the headphones off hard enough to pull the wire out of one of the ear pieces (however, I didn't really yank that hard, it must have already been loose). Another pair started shorting out recently in one ear, the sound going in and out, so they're essentially junk as well

Absolutely the best
Pros: Pros - These little cans by Koss have made my listening experience so much more impressive. THe sounds that come out of these $20.00 phones still astounds me. I have a pair of Etymotics that I rarely use anymore because of these Koss phones. What really gets me is the absolute clarity of the sounds that come out of such a cheap product. Koss as well gives you a lifetime warranty on these buds. One last thing....AMAZING.
Cons: Occassionally the little plastic piece that goes behind your head comes off. All I have had to do is to click it back into the place it fell out of. After this is done the product works just as good as it did the first time it was ever used.
Other Thoughts: I can not give enough praise for these tiny little buds Koss has produced. It's somehow they fit in the technologies and other magics that other bigger brands make you pay 200+ to hear. If you want to get started in the headphone lifestyle, start here. Even if you've been around for awhile and never had a chance to listen to these Koss, you will be awakened by the quality that these produce.

only headphones I use
Pros: I can't explain how good these phones are really. I swear by them... I'm on my third of fourth set now. they aren't the most durable headphones, but for $15 and assuming it'll last a year, what can go wrong? they're a big hit over at head-fi.org and for a good reason. many mods are available for it, in case you want to improve an already phenomenally good sound quality. Quite possibly the best headphones money can buy for under 50 bucks... and far under it too.
Cons: the only thing I don't like about them is that way they fit over my ears, but it's probably just me. you can bend the bands to fit your ears. they seems to be quiet fragile too, but I use them almost every single day outdoors and for $15, whatever.
Other Thoughts: the pros outweigh the cons BY FAR. purchase one now, you won't be disappointed. if you don't like it, I'll gladly buy it from you.

Suprisingly good sound
Pros: Very clear sound, I can hear flaws in my MP3s that I never knew were there, haha. While the bsss won't knock you out of your chair, it's strong enough to make the bit of rap/hip hop I have listenable. Games really sound great because of the wide soundstage. Fed by AC'97 onboard sound.
Cons: They are clip ons, for me it's not a problem, ymmv. They let sound in and also out, for me no problem but be aware. Treble is clear enough and strong enough to be fatiguing unless you fiddle with your equalizer settings, depending on what headphones and settings you used previously.
Other Thoughts: If you don't want to spend a lot of money but want something that sounds decent, this will do the job. The clips actually work pretty good once you learn to use them, I even forget I have them on sometimes. Dvds, games, music, audiobooks- all computer audio sounds great.

Good sound for the price, comfort could be better.
Pros: I'm no audiophile, but these sound good. Well balanced, clear sound with solid bass that sounds good with a wide variety of music. They sound perfectly fine to my undiscerning ears--and they're really, really cheap too.
Cons: I personally find the clips uncomfortable at times. They're not unbearable but they do get annoying after awhile. They're either too tight or too loose--or, somehow, both, as they'll sometimes feel tight but slide off my ears when I lean back--and the metal wiring pinches my ears. I've tried adjusting them with varying degrees of success, and I'm afraid to try to hard for fear of breaking the clips. Plus they look funny. The cord is on the short side, which is a problem when they're connected to a computer; I can't stand up at all with them on. They do leak some sound even at moderate volumes, I am told, and do poor job of keeping it out.
Other Thoughts: For the price I'd recommend them with reservations for a portable player. There are probably better sounding or more comfortable or better looking phones out there, but they're probably WAY more expensive, so if you're on a tight budget these are a good choice, and most people seem to have fewer problems with comfort. I'm replacing them for my computer with a pair of Sennheiser HD202's, which provide the flexibility of a 10' cord, but I still plan to keep these around for their portability.

really nice travel cans for the price
Pros: Good, full sound! The mids and highs are very detailed. The bass is pretty deep and decently detailed. They sound better than these new-iMac speakers, in all aspects, and they're better than many headphones that cost more. Lightweight and comfortable! Compact: they just fit in the middle-size pocket of my Case Logic TBC3 case (its on newegg). They seem pretty durable.
Cons: Deep bass can be a little muddy, i.e. not so responsive/thumpy. It sounds better if you hold them tighter to your ears. This is the drawback of the clip-on design--vs. headphones with a band that flexes and presses the cups against your head.
Other Thoughts: I just got these, and I've been trying them out with various types of music. Remember that headphones often get better with a "burn-in" period. These sound great with strings, rock, techno, psytrance, jungle, ambient, reggae, steve reich... I unfortunately don't have any hip-hop to listen to right now. They sound really good with Squarepusher's "The modern bass guitar", which is a HQ synth recording that jumps and slides all over the spectrum. These will be my travel phones when I don't need isolation, or when canal-phones become too earritating. I'll report back if they sound much different out of my Cowon D2 player, when it arrives. If you're willing to spend more on portable phones, the Sennheiser PX100s might sound better. But these are really swell for the price.

Surprised
Pros: Bass to Highs are excellent. Did not notice any drop in response using a 20~20k oscillator sweep.
Cons: I should have bought 2 more pairs for myself and son.
Other Thoughts: Purchased for my Wife to use on her Zune I gave her for Christmas. Her response, "oh my, these sound nice!"

Simply Awesome
Pros: Excellent sound quality, especially for the price. I have owned about 6 pair, I buy them two at a time, b/c they only last me about a year, but they are the only portable phones under $200 that make me happy. At home I use Sennheiser HD600 w/Cardas cables and a home-built amp. These Koss are about 90% as good, SQ-wise.
Cons: Treble sparkle is added by the headphone - sounds better than reality, the only real coloration in the sound
Other Thoughts: You would be stupid to pass these up.

Fun while it lasts
Pros: Lightweight and comfortable, good volume, great sound quality. Open-air design always offers better bass. For such an inexpensive pair of clip-phones, excellent sound quality. Crisp treble, deep bass, and pronounced mids.
Cons: Ear clips are brittle. If you don't gingerly put them on and off, you may end up snapping them quite quickly. They had to cut corners somewhere to get them to this price.
Other Thoughts: While they can clip on to your ears, they'll leave you very satisfied. Great price, great volume, great bass, but sub-par build quality.
All in all, the price is right.

lower than standard
Pros: Lightweight.
Cons: Not suite for small ears, especially women. Should try before buy it. Hinges which connect the clips are very brittle. I bought two and broke two.
Other Thoughts: cannot compare to KSC35 at all.

Nice One
Pros: Cheap for its performance. Comfortable. Crisp sound. Nice bass.
Cons: Not actually a con, but its clip-on design doesn't like others, for example: models from Audio-Technica. The parts hanging on your ears are fixed while most clip-on ones can turn these parts.
Other Thoughts: This one is probably the best clip-on headphone you can get. It also get very high rating from the circle of audiophile.

Pros: Comfortable, fit nice and don't feel too heavy or too loose. Sound quality is great! A lot of range and great bass. Much, much better than anything else you'll find in the same price range.
Cons: Lots of outside noise gets through.

Good sound, Poor design
Pros: These headphones are without a doubt, some of the best sounding headphones that I own especially for the price. I do a lot of running and biking and these headphones worked rather well. The sound is superior and the bass is enormous.
Cons: The design of the 'phones is poor. The sound really makes me want to buy another set, but I don't want to deal with the clips breaking off every time I touch them. I have had these 'phones for the better part of 8 months and I have been using them a lot. Taking them on and off at school and what not, but it has truly broken them down. I have to strap rubber bands around the clips to keep them from falling off. And because they are broken, when the bass is turned up, there is a lot of rattling.
Other Thoughts: Other than that, kudos to KOSS for a superior sounding instrument. Too bad that I just can't wear them anymore.

Nice and cheap
Pros: - Cheap (A few bucks less than else where). - Nice sound and base, bout as good as my $xx head set. - Comfortable.
Cons: - Not that adjustable. - No inline volume.
Other Thoughts: Bought em for my music phone (I broke all my other headphones :P), and they seem to work just fine.

Superb sound at an unbelievable price
Pros: Great sound quality -Excellent highs and mids -Good lows Very Cheap
Cons: Poor ambient noise cancellation Sports clip design is non-adjustable
Other Thoughts: For the price, these are probably the best-sounding headphones on the market. They won't work extremely well in a noisy environment, and the sports clip is hit or miss depending on your style (and ear size); all in all, an excellent and inexpensive set of great sounding headphones.

Best open air headphones under $50
Pros: Great mids and highs: very clear. The headphones look simple but stereo music sounds very atmospheric. Very portable and I found the clips to be very comfortable (they feel about as comfortable as my glasses, I barely notice them). I would disagree with the cord being too thin, it seems quite thick to me and there's no fraying after nearly a year of fairly heavy usage.
Cons: The bass is a bit weak, but very good for this price range.
Other Thoughts: These headphones are open air, so they're not very good in loud environments, but when it's quiet they have very beautiful tones.

Pros: head-fi.org approved! Best price-to-performance ratio, and the best way to make your way into high-end headphone audio. Check out the Kramer Mod at
Cons: Gateway drug into audiophileism
Other Thoughts: These are easily the most recommended headphone for <$50 range and are quite deserving of the title. You will not be disappointed with the sound.

Great Headphones!
Pros: Excellent sound quality, very good bass response, crisp and even highs, fairly comfortable, good sound imaging. Some of the best bass response I have ever heard by headphones, and I use $xxx sxxy & sxxxxesser headphones that do just a little better.
Cons: Short cord?
Other Thoughts: These are the best headphones you can get for the price, I previously owned some sony MDR-022 headphones, and they were good. But these sound a lot better! These headphones, as mentioned before me, are regarded as some of the best headphones within this price range (and even some more expensive headphones) by audiophiles. These are the perfect headphones for everyday MP3/CD player usage and also for your computer. I would suggest getting different headphones for airplanes though, these block-out/keep-in zero noise.

Spectacular headphones for the money!
Pros: Excellent bass, great sound quality, all around some of the best headphones with a 2-digit price. Generally regarded as the best portable headphones availible.
Cons: Umm...uhh...cord is a little whimpy?
Other Thoughts: These go great with my Koss Pro 4AATs, but they don't sound anything alike. These have more bass response and aren't as neutral, but they are still spectacular.

Excellent value
Pros: Beats the pants off all stock earbuds and most any other cheapie buds and headphones. These are consistently recommended by one headphone audiophile site for good reason. You really have to spend a lot more to get anything better, though with these being best for working out or around town, there's really no need.
Cons: They aren't supremely comfortable on the ear. The pads are fine, but the clips rub me a bit in the wrong way, and I've worn other clip-ons for years. Also, they're a bit hard to get on. The KSC-55 is the same driver but with a behind-the-neck band if that's your thing. There is no cord cinch on the top, so the buds can tangle, but I interlock the clips to help alleviate this. They look a bit dorky while on.
Other Thoughts: For the price you can't go wrong. Better than others 3x the price. Note that these are open-backed, so you'll hear outside noise with these on.

Great Value
Pros: -Great bass for headphones of this size (and price especially). -Sonorous mids and appreciably represented highs as well. -Probably the best headphones you can get under $xx (or under $xx for that matter).
Cons: -The clip-on style may not be suitable for everyone. -60 ohm impedance is a bit high; it'll suck up the battery life of portable sources considerably and you might want an amplifier for the clearest bass if using a portable source.
Other Thoughts: Much better than any headphones under $xx. You really have to try them for yourself to believe it. It's highly lauded by budget-conscious audiophiles for a reason. The sound feedback and representation is absolutely fantastic, even when you ignore the value factor. If you're on a budget, these cans are your best bet.
