Good - for the price
Pros: This headset is lightweight, and fits nicely. I was able to adjust the ear hook to fit so that I hardly know it is on. It is very comfortable to wear.
The controls are intuitive, and I like the jog wheel versus other types of BT headsets I have tried. I found control to be very intuitive and easy to pick up.
Reception and audio quality are better than I expected, and the unit puts out very decent SPL. I find myself having to turn it down frequently after answering a call.
Standby and talk time seem to be on par with what is advertised amd it pairs great with my T-Mobile MDA and voice dialing works well. The range is not bad, though I believe 30 feet is stretching it.
Cons: The LED is too bright. It slows down traffic at night when I am wearing it in the car. I can't understand why such a bright LED was needed. It spoils an otherwise no-frills design.
I have had some complaints regarding clarity from people I am calling. I know it is not a weak cell signal, but I have not been able to determine if it is the BT radio in my phone, or the headset, or, if it is a problem with the noise cancelling mic. It works fine most of the time, and only seems to break up on longer calls. However, the audio never breaks up for me, which leads me to think it is a problem with the mic.
Other Thoughts: Other than the occassional problems with the other party hearing me, and the LED, this has been a surprise for the price. Had it been more expensive, I would have ranked it lower, however, it far exceeded my expectations. For the budget-minded, or for someone who won't be using it all the time, this is a great headset.

Nice. Inexpensive too!
Pros: Easy to set up. Has many features. Very little static considering it's price. Overall a very good value. I am able to move a decent distance from the phone with little noticeable affect on the sound quality.
Cons: The beltclip doesn't hold on to your belt very well, although would be fine for hooking it to your shirt somewhere.
Other Thoughts: It continues to remain "on" if you connect it to the charger Doesn't come with a USB power cord, which would be really nice for use with laptops.

Very nice headset
Pros: The price. The sound quality on both ends (especially the headset's end) is great. It works great with voice dial. It pairs extremely fast and is ready practically the second you turn it on. The windblocking technology works pretty well. The style of this headset is much better than the others I've seen; you don't look like a cyborg when wearing it. It's very light and comfortable to the point I forget I'm wearing it. Battery life is good.
Cons: Two problems I ran in to was that I was unable to mute the headset or reject a call (without my phone being open). I confirmed this as a problem with the phone because I tested it with an LG CU500 and it worked. There is a light that flashes constantly no matter what, but it's not really bright unless you're in a dark room. Also, people on the other end can hear the beep when you turn the volume up or down on the headset. The fit could be a little tighter. It feels kind of loose. The lightness makes me afraid to drop it.
Other Thoughts: I was nervous about buying this. Yeah the price is very good, but there were mixed reviews and I wasn't sure it would work with my phone (Samsung MM-A940). I was surprised that this headset had such a high rating considering its price. I decided to go for it. I put this headset through several tests to see how it would perform. I drove with it, I stood outside in a slight wind, I talked in a room with a really loud airconditioner and a room with several other people talking. The only time anyone's ever complained at all was with the airconditioner. The person I was talking to said that they could hear me fine but the noise in the background was really loud. The microphone picks up a lot. I could practically whisper and people could still hear what I was saying. I found could get about 25 feet away from my phone before the static was overwhelming, but I think this has more to do with the phone. Anyways, this is a very good headset and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Good for the price
Pros: I bought this for my Motoralla L2, the pairing was easy enough. The sound quality is excellent depending on the distance you are from your phone. I dont have a problem with battery life with it. Fits comfortably.
Cons: I cant go very far from my phone and get good reception but with what its cost thats to be expected. Rather than that its a good buy.
Other Thoughts: This is my first blue-tooth. Cant really compare performance to others but it works good for me at the moment.

Works Really Good!
Pros: The price is real good for the quality. It is also capable of redialing, holding, voice dial, reject, etc just from the headset.
Cons: Nothing, I am absolutely satisfied with my purchase!
Other Thoughts: I have no static or poor quality at all. People that I have called or people that have called me don't notice any sound quality difference with or withoutthe headset.

Don't use with a Treo 650
Pros: Price, size, weight
Cons: Doesn't work with the Treo 650 despite them saying it did.
Other Thoughts: It sets up fine, it says it connects when you press the button but it won't pick-up a call. Their TS had me do numerous delete and soft resets adds on my phone and the same result - so now I have to RMA through them at my shipping expense.

GOOD BUY
Pros: THIS IS THE BEST ONE I EVER TRIED. better than the plantronic explorer 320. ok one is that its all reliant on one button. the sound button is located on the top. whats also cool is that its led tells you when the battery is dying. its very clear.. wished it had a add on that makes the speaker go in ear.
Cons: ok the part that hangs on your ears is not heavy duty. it can break. the light on it tends to be bright. no biggie
Other Thoughts: unlike the plantronics explorer 320 this had a stronger frequency. its microphone is more open. 15ft is its max from your phone. no bluetooth yet proved to be 30ft. ITS A HELLA OF A GOOD BUY.

Pros: It is cheap, it feels nice to wear, and is a wireless headset (much like all bluetooth headsets).
Cons: I had moderate (not excessive) static when using it. The recipient had significantly more static (very obvious, but not un-understandable).
Other Thoughts: This has been the only BT headset I have used, so am not sure if the product is bay, or I had incorrect expectations. Also I was surprised that I coludn't listen to music via the bluetooth handset (although this seems to be a problem with all BT headsets, not just this one).

Great Experience!!!
Pros: First, I love NewEgg's shipping. I can't believe how fast it is. I was kinda skeptical about purchasing this earpiece because of the negative reviews. The sound (volume) is great. It was very easy to setup. The voice recognition works great. There's no static like mentioned in one review. Fits the ear perfectly. It's very comfortable. You can't even feel it on your ear. I love it! Recommended!
Cons: None

Bad doesnt even begin to describe it..
Pros: lightweight and Cheap.
Cons: Lots of static, horrible call quality.
Other Thoughts: I bought this item to pair with my cellphone and computer. The sound was simply horrible and there was a lot of static. Returning it.

Sent it back
Pros: Good volume, fits comfortably since it doesn't need to go inside the ear, good sound at the house, easy to pair with my Motorola V710
Cons: Horrible sound in my car - with the windows closed - even if I held the phone on the sterring wheel. When I switched it off and used the handset, the person on the other end thanked me.
Other Thoughts: I was hoping also to pair this with my laptop to use with Skype, but it would not pair. I would have kept it anyway, if not for the horrible interference when I used it in the car.

Works GREAT!!!
Pros: Low cost. Light weight. Small size. Lots of advanced features. VERY good volume, can even go louder than needed. Good battery life. Good range. Very good accessory package. The companies website offers a "free" ear insert if you like that kind of fit.
Cons: No vibrate, and no personal ringtone possible. However most don't have that for under $75.00, so no big deal.
Other Thoughts: Best bluetooth headset $xx can buy.
You have to be able to "read into" some persons comments. For instance, do they know how to adjust the volume on their phone? lol Seriously, that WILL affect the volume of what you hear on the bluetooth headset and most don't know that. Are they hard of hearing? Do they have sensitive ears? Do they have phone with weak bluetooth? etc... There are lot's of "unique" things can make a person THINNK any bluetooth headset is bad, when in reality it's one of the above problems instead.

Great Headset for $$$
Pros: Works great, nice value, nice design, easy to use. Works great with my SMT 5600 smart phone. More comfortable than the motorola 850/800 series. Windguard works well, sound quality is good for what it is. Again better than other ones I've tried. Doesn't flop around, feels very secure when doing activities like walking or biking. Range is good but not as good as motorola. 25ft maybe? where as motorola was like 30+. Battery is long too. overall very pleased.
Cons: Can't charge via usb, but most you can't so that doesn't matter. Sometimes there is a slight delay in button and timing to phone.
Other Thoughts: Bottom line for the price you can't beat it. It has all the stuff like voice dialing etc, quality, battery life of headsets twice the price. I was kinda worried about brand, but it has turned out cool. Still wonder if BT earphones would be better for music and phone. dunno.

It's OK
Pros: Cheap. $xx seems average for headsets. The quality is OK, but nothing great.
Cons: A few times I have had this cut out and have choppy audio, like the bluetooth stream was dropping data. This happens mostly when walking more than 10 feet away from my Treo 650. I don't remember if they advertise a distance, but if you plan on using this try to keep the phone close to you. I still can't get this thing to fit correctly in my ear, and after a few hours of talking nonstop it does get a bit uncomfortable.
Other Thoughts: Hey, it's $xx. You get what you pay for. If you're expecting some magic device that beams perfect audio into your head, you'll just have to wait a few decades.

Pros: Small and lightweight. Long battery life. Easy to use.
Cons: Sometimes disconnects for no reason
Other Thoughts: I have yet to hear of any Bluetooth headset that is trouble free. I think the next generation of headsets will work out all the bugs. Until then, this one works as good as any and costs only $xx. I have been using it with a V3 Razr for several months now and it has been mostly trouble free. If you set up voice recognition, you never need to touch your phone. The speaker gets really loud. People do not know I am using a headset until I tell them. One down side is that if your around a lot of noise it boosts your speech and blasts the people you are talking to. I would recommend the Scala 500.

Comments: Works pretty good. Unable to use the eyeclip feature since my wife's classes are too thin and the clip will not stay in place. Ear piece cup helps a lot, but does not come with the item. It's free, but you need to call or email, takes about 3 weeks. This is first bluetooth, but I think this is a worthwile product and the newegg price is the best I saw

Its OK
Comments: I read a lot of reviews about these BT HS and came to the Scala-500. I was also comparing the MxxxxxHS850 and my older 1.1 BT compliant Lxxxxxxx CORDLESS HEADSET FOR BLUETOOTH. Of the three, I like the Scala the least. Its sound by far is the worst of the bunch, mostly "tinny" and distant. Almost all conversations led to someone telling me they heard a lot of "background noise." As far as I am concerned, the quality in conversation was not all it was hyped up to be. Worse, I used this with my Siemens SX-66 PPC and have a lot of Bluetooth disconnects. I was continually trying to re-establish connections with the Scala. This is frustrating to say the least especially when you are wearing a paired wireless HS that is not recognized by the SX66 and a call comes in; can’t talk through the ear piece and your connection transfers to the PPC unbeknownst to you. In all honesty, I felt the Mxxxxxxa and Lxxxxxxh outperformed the Scala-500 by far but the price for what you get on the Scala and it’s accessories is better.

This works!
Comments: To turn it on you actually press the volume toggle switch in at the back. For the price, this headset does the trick. I am not super-impressed with the clarity, but I have never used a bluetooth headset before. Also, that could be my PocketPC phone, which is sometimes a real challenge for me. Anyways, I bought this based on the good reviews and I am glad I did.

its just bad.
Comments: Ya so I bought it so I can connect it to my bluetooth pda and cell phone, but it only allows you to connect to 1 device.
The battery life is WEAK so bad! It dies after 2-3 days of like less than 2 hours use, the earbud is fragile and is cheap, can come off easily, just very dissapointed with it, I dont know how everyone else praises it. It sucks, when you depend on it, and the battery just dies out after a day or two of use.
ya its nothing good

Good product
Comments: This little guy is very nice. I use it for my motorola v551 and use it with my zonet usb bluetooth adapter on my computer for SKYPE calls. Works like a charm. I haven't tried it with teamspeak, but I hear that it will work there as well. All the features are nice, but the click to send the call FRom the earpiece TO the phone doesn't work. To get it to switch from my phone to my computer I have to turn the phone off or disable the headset in the phone, this is normal but I thought I would mention it. Little staticky when you are >10 feet or through a door, but just keep the phone close by and you are set. The glasses thing doesn't work well with my glasses (wire frames with a flat ear piece) but the ear holder doesn't hurt even when I am wearing glasses so it doesn't matter.

Comments: Works great with Treo 650. Some static if you walk too far from the handset, but I just use it in the car. I am going to buy another one for a friend. Newegg got it here within days even over July 4 holiday.

Awesome with Razr V3
Comments: Bought this for use with my Razr V3, and couldn't be more pleased. The sound quality is great, both for the person I'm calling, and for me. I have a hearing disability, and I can hear my cell phone so much better with this device; its volume is independent of the volume on the phone.
That also means I can turn the phone to vibrate, and the headset rings only in my ear... awesome for theaters and meetings when I need to be available by phone but don't want to interrupt others.
Pairing with my phone was easy, and the voice dialing works flawlessly. Operation is simple... when in standby press the button to answer, press teh button to voice dial, or hold the button to reject the call. When on a call, press the button to hang up, hold the button to mute. Dial up or down for volume. Press the dial to turn on and off. That's it in a nutshell.
Not all the ringers with with the device, however, that's not a big deal to me, especially given the mixed reviews and higher prices for similar items from other manufacturers.
If you have a Razr, and are debating, just buy it. You won't be dissappointed.
