Excellent!
Pros: Excellent product. Exactly as described. VERY light weight and fits in your pocket. This did not claime to be a high end product but quality of images is very satisfactory. Zoom is good. Prices is awesome.
Cons: Zoom only, no wide angle.
Other Thoughts: Anyone who complains about this would be forgetting it's price range. This is an absolutely excellent product for casual snap shots. I take my DSLR when I go the the Grand Canyon however. It is not, and doesn't cliam to be a professional camera.

Nice 4 da price
Pros: Camera is nice looking, strong body easy to use, pics are perfect in daytime, night shots need more light but are ok at close range.
Cons: You may consider using rechargables batteries for a long photo shouting
Other Thoughts: Buy it!

Get what you pay for
Pros: Its low cost, minuscule size, battery type (I like AA's, they're easy to replace), compatibility with SD cards, and straightforward ease-of-use.
Cons: The indoor picture quality is not up to my standards. I was raised on Canon A-series and a Casio Exilim. My least favorite non-feature is the lack of an auto-focus when I press halfway down on the shutter. It's either all or nothing, and the shutter lag is pretty bad (about 3 sec). Also, no opti-zoom kinda sucks, but it's also fewer parts to break.
Other Thoughts: It's a good price, and a good ultra-compact beginner's camera, but if you're very picky about your pictures, go for something more expensive (I just ordered a Canon SD600...something I should have done in the first place). I recommend this as a first camera for a teenager. It's simple and gets the job done for a low price.

Decent
Pros: Has a good features, nice looking.
Cons: Battery life is very poor, also takes a long time inbeweeen pictures when the flash goes off. No quick display of what picture you just took.
Other Thoughts: Its worth the $100 but spend more if you want more

quality pics
Pros: Small, cheap, looks cool, pictures are good quality, and doesn't eat batteries nearly as bad as I expected.
Cons: In some pictures i've noticed color variances when taking the same picture just seconds apart. Video mode is very dark and needs alot of light. I wish it had a power button instead of the front slider being the power. No optical zoom and the digital zoom isn't all that great
Other Thoughts: This is actually my first digital camera but i've used several. For the price its hard to beat. I've used it quite heavily for a couple weeks now and the batteries still show full.

Awesome Deal!
Pros: I am amazed by this compact camera!!! True 6MP quality, quick shutter speed when the flash is off, and the free 1GB card allows me to hold hundreds of pics at the highest resolution and quality settings. The flash has a red-eye reduction feature (where it flashes twice very quickly) and up close portrait images are outstandingly detailed. Not to mention it's only $xxx!!!!!!
Cons: Some people have written that a con is that the LCD screen is very grainy at times, but IMO, this is not a con because even though the screen might be pixelated, the picture will definitely not be.
Other Thoughts: I can't say it's a con because I don't know what the average battery life is for digital cameras, but the 2 AA Duracell Ultras that came with the camera are already getting a low battery warning and I've only taken around 100 pictures. Although most of them were with the red-eye reduction flash on...

Pros: This camera is pretty good, great overall quality. Pictures are very clear, the 1gb card deal was a big plus. It holds alot of pictures.
Cons: No optical zoom and sometimes the display, as mentioned before, appears a bit grainy.
Other Thoughts: I'd highly recommend this product for anyone looking for an everyday use camera. The picture quality is really good.

good deal and works pretty good
Pros: simple to use menu is easy to understand I was taking pics and printing them in 5 minutes quality is not bad but a 4 out of 5 for the display.
Cons: slightly grainy display and focus was not super clear like a digital slr but for 99$ it was worth it , pics print out great at max settings and 1 gig SD card held 300 pics.
Other Thoughts: its a good buy for a beginer , this was a gift got a grandparent and she loves it !

Great for the price
Pros: *Can't beat the price + came with a free 1Gb SD Card (!!!) *Easily fits into my pocket *Nice lcd screen *Easy to use *Good Picture quality/detail
Cons: *Buttons feel a bit flaky and small *A bit of shutter lag (not meant to take multiple pictures in a span of a few seconds) *Takes about 2 seconds to start up (not really a con)
Other Thoughts: After I accidentally broke my Canon SD550 camera, I was looking for a "quick fix" camera so I could keep taking pics. I settled on this and so far this thing is amazing. Not only was it MUCH cheaper than those other digital cameras on the market, but it performs just as well as them. My Canon cost ~$400 and is only marginally better than this one, which is 1/4th the price! Excellent point and shoot camera.

Great Entry Level Camera
Pros: Photos are very sharp and detailed... 6mp and high resolution.
Cons: Nada.
Other Thoughts: I accidently ordered the camera and not the combo. After chatting with "live help", Newegg sent the sd card at no cost. 8)

Very impressed
Pros: I borrowed this camera from a friend for a day and was amazed. I'm used to Canons and have seen horrible image quality from supposedly 1st-tier manufacturers like Sony, Olympus, and Fuji. I expected the Vivitar to be a disaster but all my pictures came out sharp, correctly exposed, noise-free, and with accurate color. It's fast and easy to use, too.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: none

Nice
Pros: Great value
The lack of optical zoom would normally be a con, but in this case, its one less funtion that may fail down the road. This was an excellent buy for my teenager.
Cons: um...a lifetime supply of batteries would be nice! No cons at this time

Nice
Pros: Nice case construction. Very compact/small. High quality pictures. GUI very friendly/responsive. Flash charges and is ready in a blink of an eye after each take. Super camera.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: This camera does ship with a case even though it is not shown. Newegg gave me the extra 512SD even after my order was received.
