Pros: This is a great monopod, small enough to carry it everywhere and the construction is strong and durable.

Cons: Have to buy a separate head with quick release.

Other Thoughts: You probably have to buy a separate head with quick release plate. I got Bogen 3229 - which is awesome!

Pros: Just what is needed for vertical stabilization.

Cons: It works best when propped against something, as the lateral play is also stablized.

Pros: I have only had this monopod for a couple of days but I like it! It works great for my small point and shoot I keep in my truck. I have used it quite a bit today, I actually carried it all day! Its light, compact and looks good. Very sturdy for the weight, works great as a walking stick. I like it so much I am going to buy another! I might even get one for my Dad while I am at it.

Cons: The strap keeps coming undone from the buckle.

Other Thoughts: I used a zip tie to fix the buckle to the shaft right below the foam grip. Now with the strap adjusted just right it fits my hand like a ski pole.

Pros: Light weight, solid built.

Other Thoughts: One thing - you may find buying a head useful. If you use it very often - get a swivel-tilt head.

Pros: This monopod is great. I take lots of photographs and shoot lots of video and I had no idea how easier it is using this monopod vs using a tripod. Very high quality, built well, and an excellent value for the money.

Comments: I bought my Nikon D70s a few weeks ago and thought I had all the accessories I needed. But I realized that a monopod would really come in handy when I would be hiking around or at sporting events. So happened I found this monopod after just shopping around for other stuff on Newegg. I received the monopod the other day and must say it is of very good build and value. BTW I have the matching tripod:).
