Solid system for a good price
Pros: Clear, crisp sound, cables sold and long enough to reach basically wherever you need them to, a nice sleek remote with LED for power and headset input, and good looking design.
Cons: The connect is that of a PS/2 port or something like that, it seems; due to this, the connection may start to fail after half a year or a year, and sound levels will start to vacillate.
Other Thoughts: Really, I liked this system a lot, and it's my baseline to the Z-2300 I'm buying now.
I gamed on it, played music, and watched movies. Did everything I wanted it to.

Blow Away
Pros: These things rock! Sound Quality to price is a win win deal. The volume and headphone input is move-able. The bass can really hit, I only have it at alomost half way for music.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Im a big fan of Cr**tive L*bs and this system proves that its a quality company. SETUP: E6700 @ 2.66Ghz, EVGA 8800GTX, 2GB of corsair 80gb segate + 250gb segate in raid, antec900, and creative lads 2.1 speakers

Loud little suckers
Pros: PRICE! Wow you get more than you pay for here! These little suckers are loud! Big bass and lots of treeble. These little speakers look nice too and can discretly fit anywhere.
Cons: speakers are so little, light and easy to tip, just watch where you put them.
Other Thoughts: there are louder speakers out there, but i couldnt think why you would need anything louder or more expensive than these little killers.

Sound great, but design is flawed
Pros: These speakers have sounded excellent for the 3+ years I've had them. The bass is strong, and the output has retained its clarity.
Cons: Two big problems with the set. The first is the design of the speakers themselves. While they may look cool, the bases are far too light for the heavy speakers, which are already tilted backwards. So, if you touch the speakers at all, they will tip over. If you were to keep them secluded in a small area that is never moved, it wouldn't be a problem, but bumping the desk or touching the speakers will send them backwards. The other problem is the volume knob. They may have improved this since I purchased it, but my volume wheel has worn out severely, to the point where it will not respond at all, or will wildly alter the volume levels. This was my means of controlling the volume, and now it is essentially garbage. But, I have to keep it since it's the only way to turn the speakers on!
Other Thoughts: These speakers are a pretty old design, I would suggest getting a newer set.

Value choice award from me
Pros: First of, the price. I mainly use the I-Trigue for gaming sounds, so I didn't opt for the higher priced Creative Speakers. You can't go wrong with these for gaming! Occasionally I'll fire up an MP3 and the sound quality is quite acceptable. I'm using the onboard sound of my Asus P5B Deluxe motherboard and I don't see a reason to buy a seperate sound card, I doubt I would be able to hear the difference. The slim design of the speakers are a lot nicer than some funky ones on the market. They will compliment your desktop. The subwoofer isn't overly large and heavy, I like that. The wired control has dial on/off + volume and dial bass adjuster. Headphone jack at the front. It's simple and compact. Some others I've seen are overly large and just plain dumb looking. Setup was a snap. I didn't even need to read the instructions. I considered the next pricier Creative, but mostly it just has surround and more power.
Cons: Some mid range missing, and, turning up the bass too much will muddy the overall sound. This is to be expected. I have the subwoofer on the left hand side below and wish the side vent was on the opposite side, no biggie.
Other Thoughts: Your satisfaction will depend on the music you put thru this system. Older recordings might not sound as good as modern recordings. If you're concerned about the slim speakers getting knocked over easily, simply attach velcro or sticky back tape to their base. Also, if subwoofer is on a hard floor, a thin piece of foam under subwoofer will keep the bass from vibrating floor and maybe annoying others.

Amazing Sound, super bass!!!
Pros: Bass are amazing, the quality of sound is really high. The headphones plug, volume, on/off, and bass control are easy to manage on the little module. Really you couldn't ask for more and the price is fair!!! NewEgg Rocks!!!
Cons: None

Speaker channel when out
Pros: Great Price for the money. Good sound, set your computer at about 70% out put and you can max them out on the nob like most speakers. Very nice bass works well for smaller rooms. But i also got mine for 24 buck new from the place i worked at. :)
Cons: Right channel when out after about 10 hours of use i dont use them often had them about 8 mouths used them off and on with my laptop an mp3 player i have a desktop with 5.1 so they where hardly used. if it was not for that i would say best 2.1 for the price.
Other Thoughts: I great looking speaker set if you ask me i overall like them.

Very Nice
Pros: For a 2.1, creates an almost home theater experiance. I am very impressed. I can hear the bass from the other room.
Cons: Would have liked to have the amp built into the sub instead of on the cord.
Other Thoughts: Why spend the extra money on a 5.1 or 7.1. This will more than handle your mp3 and gaming needs.

An afterthought
Pros: Having owned these speakers for 8 months now; I have definitely broken them in and have listened to everything imaginable on them. These things still sound amazing to me after all this time. Sound quality is very dependent on the source, I.E. high bitrates and a good soundcard = noticeably better sound output. Great looking and even greater sounding speakers. Clear highs and decent thump from the little sub gives a dynamic sound from any game.
Cons: Crackle at high volumes, wish they could handle a little more of their own power (distortion occurs too far below full volume for a matched speaker/amp combo), very top heavy, weak sub distorts at high volumes earlier than satellites do (I keep mine at 1/2 which doesn't seem to be much less power than full volume some how). Sound can be thin and harsh at times (titanium drivers) when compared to similar systems. Poor midrange.
Other Thoughts: I noticed I have more cons than pros, but don't get me wrong, I love my 3300's, but their tinny nature is wearing and they are very selective in what they sound good playing. Games sound great, a lot of music doesn't. If I were to buy again I'd consider the Logitech Z4i which have a softer sound for the same money and are definitely easier to please.

Awesome set for the money!!
Pros: This set of speakers is awesome for the money!! I was looking at the Bose Companion 3 set prior to purchasing these, so I read the reviews and checked on the overall rating, I was very impressed and extremely happy with the Creative brand saving $$$$$. The sound quality is phenominal, the bass is compact with quite alot of power behind it. I highly recommend this style prior to shelling out $$$$ for another brand.
Cons: No cons thus far!!
Other Thoughts: Again, if you are considering purchasing a set of multi-media speakers, these are for you!!

great 2.1 for low price
Pros: Amazing sound for 2.1 Strong bass that wont get muddy. Reaches the highs and lows w/o any distortion. Convenient volume control panel which allows you to adjust the subwoofer and sattellite speakers separately.
Cons: The stands holding the sattellite speakers are flimsy and can knock over easy.
Other Thoughts: recommended these to my buddy and he loves them as well.

I love mine.
Pros: Great sound for the price, I really like the treble from the titanium drivers. They sound very clean and clear. The subwoofer is not the loudest, but it is enough. The amount of bass can be control with a switch, which is a big plus. Last thing, it just looks cool with the three drivers.
Cons: There is not much, the only negative thing I have to say is that the wires are short, well at least for my application.
Other Thoughts: Greatest speakers for a computer, CD player, and mp3 player for the price. I love mine!

Blister!
Pros: Well, I'll add my rave for these speakers here and now; glad I didn't spend more, didn't need to. With a basic Soundblaster card, Winamp's equilizer and some killer FLAC audio files, these things rip. I doubt they can do structural damage to your dwelling, but seem very capable of doing possible damage to your hearing: be careful.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: The quality of the audio file itself is of primary importance in terms of overall fidelity speakers can reproduce. Perhaps keep this in mind when reading these reviews.

Amazing
Pros: AMAZING BASS! I can not begin to tell you how powerful that woofer is. It will rock you to your core. Sattelites produce clear, clean sound, music is amazing. Played a few levels of doom with these and the bass will simply blow you away.
Cons: Sub is heavy, the cords are kind of short, but other than that, this is a solid set of speakers.
Other Thoughts: My cousin purchased these for a build I did for him. Once we were finished we plugged it into his integrated audio and fired up Itunes. We sampled everything from jazz to the blue man group and the sound was crisp and clear. The bass is awesome! The only other thing worthe mentioning is I believe this set is an 80 watt set and it is described as 43 on newegg, y'all may want to get that fixed.

One of the best!
Pros: These things are great. I've had them for 6-8 months and they're still as good as they were when I opened up the box. Sound is great without a sound card except when you're all the way up, but it's really loud so I'm sure not everyone will have them up all the way all the time.
Cons: I would have figured the price would have dropped more for how old these things are.
Other Thoughts: Onboard sound is fine with these, a sound card isn't necesary but it'd be good to have one.

Not reliable
Pros: decent sound, great trebble and medium bass response
Cons: somewhat hissy, depending on card, picks up static...oh yeah
IT DIED!
only one speaker works, right is dead, volume switch is variable
MY FRIEND HAS THE SAME ONE, AND IT HAS THE SAME PROBLEMS
Other Thoughts: I spent xx bucks, it lasted 6 months...not that great

good for games, bad for music
Pros: Clear powerful sound, amazingly small satellites. Good 2.1 upgrade for not much $$. Great range for instrumental music.
Cons: Midrange is lacking. Not a very balanced sound between the bass and treble so vocals in songs sound distant. Not good for rock or pop music.
Other Thoughts: Awesome if you have very limited desk space (speakers are so tiny!). To get better balanced midrange, turn the bass on the remote way up, then back it off using your computer's equalizer - your mids will come through stronger without being blown away by bass. (Or buy something with some midrange speakers instead.)

Heart Pumping
Pros: Very good bass, attractive speakers, pretty big sub-woofer (even if it didn't sound good, which it does, it looks cool), can get really, really, vibrate your desk loud
Cons: My remote volume knob doesn't work at all, 1 mm of rotation causes it to go from a whisper to "bust out your eardrums" loud
Other Thoughts: If you have limited space, the sub-woofer might be a bit large for you. Otherwise, good solid product. I also got mine from Dell.

Pros: Sound is clear, they can go pretty loud, nothing special really.
Cons: My speakers just started making a strange popping noise, not very loud, it's actually very, very faint. You can barely hear it when they are sitting on the table and the room is quiet but when you bring them to your ear you can definately tell that something is wrong. The noise is very fast like morse code, except without the variation in pauses.
Other Thoughts: I don't know if this is a con, but when you turn them down it seems like they have trouble holding that volume. This is also a recent developement. It's not like they will all of a sudden go really loud but you can definately tell that the volume is fluxuating when they are low. As for the other reviews about the base, don't worry about it. With the base turned down there is barely any, so don't pay attention to the people who complain about the base not turning off completely.
I've owned this for just over a year, as far as I can tell longer than any other review written, they are good speakers but I wish I would have spent a little more to get the better quality stuff out there. This popping is getting annoying...

YAY! AWESOME SOUND
Pros: High range of volume; can go REALLY loud but also pretty quiet. I like that. Also, nice design! Stylish and loud for a manageable price.
Cons: None really. PEOPLE WHO SAY THAT THE BASE IS TOO LOUD ARE IDIOTS! LOWER THE BASE VOLUME IF IT'S TOO LOUD, BUT DON'T PUT IT AS A CON!!!
Other Thoughts: If you're into techno or dance, these are amazing. Moholithic Filter, Galvanize, Freestyler - great test tracks and my personal favorites!

these speakers rock
Pros: Big sound from small good looking speakers. Bass adjustment on the wired remote. some where from 5 - 6 ft of cable for each speaker.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: paired w/ audigy 2 value card sound s better than my 600 dlar sony reciever and speakers, not as loud but they are pleny loud enough to fill my 15 x 15 room with nice clear sound. and very deep bass for such a compact sub.

Good for the price
Pros: clear crisp high mhz sound(voice and many notes)Wired volume with head phone hookup. It lights up blue when turned on.They look nice and help keep the desk from looking cluttered, due to the slim design.
Cons: lacking in the midrange. But the sub being higher mhz helps make up for what the tweeters cant produce.Top heavy but if you dont have people bumping the desk they are fine.Sub is a little lacking for what i expected, my 1999 ac-480 sub had a lot bettter sound and responce as far as base is concerned
Other Thoughts: klisph 2.1 speakers make these sound like you are banging on a tin can. No joke! But good for the money.

Very Clear
Pros: These speakers simply destroy any stock speakers, or anything without a subwoofer. The sound quality is crystal, and the bass has enough power to create that BOOM at lower volumes.
Cons: The wired remote is pretty cheap, occasionally it turns off on its own, or fails to turn on.

Pros: Aesthetically pleasing (looks nice in my opinion), easy to set up. Wired remote volume control with headphone jack.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I had to plug into the "center sub woofer" jack on my sound card. The standard "green" output didn't work. Of course, that may be different depending on the sound card.

Slick speakers
Pros: Simple to set up. Speakers look best without grill covers, really complement my silver Samsung LCD monitor. Got these to replace a flaky Logitec 340 set. Sound is 100% better.
Cons: I'd prefer a simple on/off switch. Bass dial too close to on/off/sound dial, so have mistakenly turned it to power on speakers.
Other Thoughts: Oh yea, box is marked 80 Watts, not the 43 listed here.

Crisp sound
Pros: The sound is very crisp and clean without being harsh. Convenient wired controls.
Cons: It seems I need to really crank the subwoofer to hear strong bass, which could still have a little more "oomph" to it.
Other Thoughts: I am deaf in one ear, so I don't hear stereo. Clarity is most important to me, and these speakers are very clear.

Great Deal, Better Quality
Pros: Not only do these speakers look great on paper (30Hz - 20kHz, titanium drivers, and a wood subwoofer), they sound great too! The frequency response is the best I have heard for any system for this price. Audiophiles and gamers will love this equally. Bass is powerful and clean (not muddy, even maxed out. Just don't put the sub in a corner). Sattelites are clear and bright without any audible background noise. Most speakers in this price range distort audio too much to notice the difference between 44kHz and 192kHz audio, but these two are worlds apart on this system. Buy them because they'll sound great, AND accurate. I bought a 2nd set and assembled a "4.2" surround system, and I couldn't be happier.
Cons: The sattelite speakers are a little wobbly, but a piece of double-sided tape under the base is enough to hold them up.
Other Thoughts: The crossover for the sub is set a little high, so some mid-range sounds come through the sub instead of the sattelites. This isn't an issue, it just means the sub has some directionality, and it should be placed near the satellites. These mid-range frequencies are also susceptible to becoming muddy. Just keep the sub out of corners and small cube-like places (like under your desk). Put it up on your desk, or back the desk out from the wall.

Amazing...for the price!
Pros: I purchased these speakers for my wife's computer and am stunned at how much we got for so little money.
I find the speakers more attractive, in person, than in the pictures.
An easily accessable volume control is a plus. Also, this one is made well and isn't likely to break (like one's I've owned in the past). Having a headphone and mic (1/8") port on the volume control is pure genius.
The bass and volume that these little speakers can generate seems to defy the laws of physics.
I am not a musician, but these speakers sound very good to me with music, games and movies. If I want true high fidelity, I have a home A/V system for that.
These speakers are extremely easy to set up. They can also be used with an mp3 player or other device.
The subwoofer is smaller than other subwoofers that I have (on other PC's), so it is easier to accomodate and place; yet it produces amazing bass.
Cons: The speakers are top heavy and will fall over fairly easy if tapped on the side. Those who have small children or cats may want to secure them in place, somehow.
Once you put the black speaker grill cloth on the speakers, it is very difficult to remove. So be sure you really want them on before you install them.
Other Thoughts: I am giving this speaker system 5 stars because you get so much for your money. I own multiple Logitech and Creative Speaker systems, some costing much more than these (haven't tried Klipsch yet) and this is definitely the best value in speakers that I've ever found.
Well done Creative Labs!

Great speakers
Pros: Seperate controls for headphone and volume and base. Do not have to reach over to the tweeters to plug in or control volume. Matches great with my View S. VX924 monitor and 5 CAC-T05-WW case. Great sound
Cons: Not digital

Pros: ok, BUY THESE SPEAKERS!!! the only reason not to get them is if u absolutley need a surround sound setup. they beat better than speakers twice the price, and i think the tiatanium cones on the satellites give the speakers more durability than other brands. they have highs so high it could cut you, and when nades go off in americas army beside me, i almost fly out of my seat from the bass. no other speakers in this price range are better, including the klXpsch 2.1's
Cons: cons? lol what cons?
Other Thoughts: it only says 43 watts, but if no1 told u, u would never know. i thought at least 80 when i heard them.

believe it or not!!!
Pros: IMO best 2.1 speakers in the world. Very nice sound quality, bass, u name it. Handy controller, great design, jus perfect for music.
Cons: Those 2 speakers does not balance as well. So if your a clumsy person u should be careful cuz they can easily tip over by the weight they have
Other Thoughts: thoes bass are CRAZYY with 2 Y's

little speaker big sound
Pros: outstanding sound. Clear frequeny response and no distortion even at high volumes. excellent build construction and solid materials
Cons: narrow bases for left and right channel speakers sometimes cause them to fall over if you're clumsy with them
Other Thoughts: better than my logi** 5.1 system

Mega Bass
Pros: Unbeleavable sound this setup rocks. You cant go wrong with this 2.1 setup the bass Is very deep with only a 1/4 turned up, and the sattilites have very clear highs. Also the P/S for the Sub weighs about 4lb so I want to say Its dependable. Cant beat the design overall.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Dont have any sound cards just the basic M/B drivers and winamp pro. The quality soundrivers that m/b have today you really dont need any $$$ soundcards which Is a plus.

AWESOME LOOKIN
Pros: Killer looks, titanium drivers, strong clear highs, detailed sound, well laid out remote, and did I mention they look incredible?
Cons: Mids are weak IMO, and it is obvious that the sub is tuned to handle some higher than normal frequencies for a "sub". The sub has no problem hitting what I consider obscure notes in an attempt to cover for the satellites' lack of low end. This really doesn't become very apparent until u back away from your desk. Once you calibrate the EQ this problem fades a lot, but the speakers can exhibit a slight tinny quality at times.
Other Thoughts: Great sounding speakers all the same, great clear highs, you don't really expect low freqs from such small satellites, but one can dream right?

Pros: Price, Sound quality, Thumpin' Bass

Kool!
Pros: Excellent Speakers for the price. There Crisp and clear from bon jovi to cher and Call of Duty 2 with EAX3 sounds insane. Paired these speakers with a Audigy 2 ZS from newegg. And this is much better then any on-board ive had plus it saves me 2-3% cpu usage.
Fedex rules! They didnt bring my package late or drop it at my door like UPS did they where early with my Audigy and on time with my speakers.
Cons: None!
Other Thoughts: That guy below me i dont know what he was smookin but these are nice speakers.

Dont be fooled
Pros: Great service and shipping from Newegg. Even if they do only post positive reviews. Read On.....
Cons: Speakers are top heavy and tip over easily. No Mid-range at all. Poor workmanship. I've only had these speakers for 8 months and my left channel has gone completely out. Creative's warranty process is terrible, I recently had my Zen Touch go dead on me. They charged me 24.95 to "diagnose" the problem then sent me a defective replacement, all after over a month. I didn't go through that with these speakers though. I went to Walmart, bought these same speakers, switched them out and returned them. I'm going to do the same with the defective mp3 player that they sent me. Last Creative product I'll ever buy!
Other Thoughts: There are speakers out there that sound as better that don't come from a company that sells junk then doesn't warrant their product.

Great setup for the money
Pros: Outstanding output from these speakers. I upgraded from my onboard sound to an SB audigy2 zs (makes sense going with better speakers)and boy does the sound pour out of these! First thing I noticed was the size of the desktop speakers, in the pictures they look very tall but they aren't which I deem a plus since they offer great mids and highs.
Next thing I noticed was ease of installation (plug and play as most sytems are) but this one has speaker jacks and a remote setup unlike my previous 2.1 system that had bare speaker wire to insert into the sub.
Subwoofer absolutely pounds, very deep and rich bass. Unlike my previous setup (30 dollar altec =\ ) there is no rattle and extremely solid in design! For under xx dollars it's a DEFINITE upgrade.
Cons: Size of sub. I am marking this a con because my desk is kinda small and I can't pull in my chair all the way but I still give it a full 5/5 (plan on a bigger desk anyways ;) ). Aside from that, nothing comes to mind except the added shortcut to add AOL on the install disk.
Other Thoughts: The oem version comes with the card, disk, and game controller adaptor (I don't use) and has everything you need and it saves you a lot of cash. This is one of the better sound cards I have bought for any computer. Add into the speakers and my sound quality went from ok to wow all for under 160 dollars shipped to my door.
UPS still sucks so I went with fedex and got it a day early...go figure.

Pros: Great sound, very crisp and clean.
Cons: None found yet.
Other Thoughts: I am deaf in one ear, so clarity and frequency response are more important to me than having multiple channels.

Great Speakers
Pros: I agree with everyone else. Great sound, especially low end. Newegg rocks!
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: The site lists them at 43 watts, but the box says 80 Watts. I believe it is actually 79. Each satellite has three outputs, and I think they are running at 9 apiece for a total of 54 Watts. This, added to the 25 Watt bass, gives 79 Watts for the whole system.

It's Simply The BEST!!!!
Pros: These speakers rock!! they WAY out beat the currently best rated 2.1 creative speakers. My friend has those and they distort way more thn these babies!!!
Cons: the speakers could have been a little bit better, they crack under pressure sometimes, but other than that...
Other Thoughts: the sub is muh favorite part of this package it is smply the best sub for the best price! And always, thanks again Newegg, shipping was outstanding!!

Banging.
Pros: I just got these speakers and its banging for the price. good speakers and its just just good for its price class, but over all. Sound is great, set up is nice, bass is crazy.
Cons: The only problems might that when your with in like a foot of the speakers at high pitched parts of the songs its a lil shakey.
Other Thoughts: Perfect. Get it.

Pleased!
Pros: Great response in all frequencies, especially the bass and low-midrange. Replaced a set of OEM Dell speakers (complete junk) and I must say I'm impressed. Great sound, capable of very high volume levels with little or no distortion. For the wattage of the set, the power of the subwoofer exceeded my expectations - it's very powerful. The crossover is set just perfect, so the sub and the satellites balance really well.
Cons: The front panel of the sub is flimsy and the cone is very close to it - don't place it under your computer desk and accidentally kick a hole in it!
Other Thoughts: Buy it! Worth every cent.

NICE!!
Comments: These speakers are great!! The sub has an insane sound will definitally rattle the room when turned up. The sound quality is really crisp, you wont be disapointed. Even if you like to blast your music you will find very little to no distortion. For the price these are fantastic speakers. To comment on the other users saying that they had problems with the speakers tipping over, well if you have them in an area with a lot of activity and are likely to get bumped a lot, they will tip over. Ive had no problems with them tipping over though they sit on my desk like speakers should and dont get touched. This speaker set is probably one of the best buys on Newegg. If you dont want a surrond sound set up get these. Also have to compliment the super fast shipping from Newegg.

great speakers
Comments: I was surprised at the sound of these speakers for such a great price. As others have said, the sub overachieves and the mids are very good. The speakers are sturdy and well built, as well as the control pod. Great sound and price for a 2.1 system.

more bang for your buck
Comments: First off, these speakers blow my office away. The clarity is amazing and the bass, as someone said earlier "overachieves" and takes you by surprise.. before I bought these I bought the i-trigue 3400's.. I thought they would sound good with the new sub but when I Installed them all I heard was bass.. no sound clarity at all - returned them and got these.. $$ cheaper and better sound.. the satelittes look sleek next to an lcd and you can hear them clear across the house.. the only downsides are: theres no auxilary input and if no sound is comming through there's a buzz in the satelittes when at high volumebut hey.. the speakers more than compensate for those two little flaws.. trust me: moreeee than compensate conclusion: awesome set for anyone looking for 2.1!

Comments: These speakers are well built and good quality. They look very atractive beside an LCD display. Sound quality is good, especially the highs. The sub overachieves. I took the subwoofer out to see how big the magnet is. Turns out the subwoofer is made bt Cambridge Soundworks. Midrange is pretty flat. Overall a good combination of looks, price and performance.

Great Sound for the Price
Comments: I was surprised how well built these speakers are. I didn't know that the stands for the speakers were made of metal. Also, the sound quality is amazing. I'm hearing stuff in my music that I haven't heard in my old Sony speakers. My only gripe is the sub. Its not the sound or the build. Its the fact that it can't be turned all the way off when the other speakers are in use. You can turn it all the way down, but it still is on a little bit. Barely noticeable, but still a knock on the overall package. Great Speakers overall!

Wooow
Comments: I'll start off with Newegg rocking. As usually newegg and fedex are fast at delivering stuff. Now about the speakers all I have to say this is such a BIG impromevent from my old logitech z-340. This is so good. I am afraid to turn up the volume and the bass all the way in my appartment. Prolly get in trouble. Newegg rocks and these speakers rock. Sound is much more clearer than that of z-340 and there is no zumping sound no more. LOVE EM.

Comments: had monsoons which i loved. lasted less than a year. just as they died came the newegg e-mail with these. i am not a audiophile but can tell sound diferences and expected very little for $80. in the last mont i have bought 2 things from newegg; a samsung 19" flat monitor and these, neither to upgrade but repalce dead units. in both instances i should have throw away the previous units. there is that much difference! anyway, these speakers are money well spent. newegg is so inexpensive, easy and fast (less than 2 days) i can not imaginge using another company. and i am not their shill nor have ever posted a review.

Great sound! Blows away most getto blasters!
Comments: I was floored when I hooked these babies up to my P.C.. The sound blew me away. This is the best set of speakers I've ever owned. I've tried several speakers for the P.C. in the eighty dollar price range and this set will totally blow them all away (combined). The controller also seems to be built a little better than most, since this is usually the first thing to go. I HIGHLY reccomend these speakers, I doubt you could possibly be dissappointed with them. This setup rocks!

Gamers and Dorms
Comments: Bought these over 2 years ago now and this great set is still going strong for me. I have spent the past two years in a dorm and have only encountered better speaker sets for a lot more money and they are usually surround. I am also a pretty heavy gamer running highlevel games on with excellent sound output (Doom3, Day of Defeat, StarWars: Knights of the Republic 2, Call of Duty, Unreal Tournament 2003). Unless you are looking to spend major money on speakers, this set blows away the competition and the price is unreasonably low. Best product quality for the price I've ever encountered.

Comments: Really good speakers for 2.1. I did have 5.1 until someone decided they needed them more than me and "relieved" me of them. I've had 2.1 speakers before and the problem with those was that the tweeters were not enough to balance the fat sub. However these pull it off really well, since there are actually 3 tweeters in each speaker, it gives it a good balance. Overall I love 'em.

Comments: I upgraded and finally built my first computer and its a huge success. I picked up these speakers because they weren't huge because of my apartment but at the same time they are certainly high quality and get really loud as well. Comments: This 2.1 system still amazes me everytime I listen to it. Originally purchased over 16 months ago, I've have nothing but enjoyable musical experiences. Simply amazing sound from tiny drivers - just put on your favorite .mp3 or cd, sit back in a chair, and close your eyes. You are really immersed in quality sound. Crystal-clear highs, and solid lows. You forget the size of the satellites and sub enclosure. Definately worth the money.
Two minor things though. As other reviewers state, the satellites are a bit back-heavy. What I've done is placed a small iron "puck" on the base. Just keep the kids away, and you'll be fine. :=)
The other thing is that, compared with larger multimedia speakers, it does lack some mid/low-mid frequencies. However, you have to remember the size of the primary drivers. You can somewhat remedy this with sub placement. If you put the sub in the corner of a room, you'll get strong and deep bass, but it could overpower the rest of the sound. If you place the sub further away from the corner, and more toward the middle of a wall, you reduce overall bass, but pickup some low-mid freqencies. It just depends on your preferences.
All in all, this is the best 2.1 system I've ever heard. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I luv em
Comments: Great sound at a great price. Upgraded from Altec's and there is a world of difference. A 100 times better than my old Altec's. Lots of bass and good treble. If you dont want to be cluttered with a 5.1 or 4.1 system, then get these. One thing, the satellites do tip over easily. Other than that they are awesome. Neat wired remote too.

Comments: Sweet speakers overall, but since they only have tweeters and a sub, they are missing mid-tones, but the sub makes up for that a little bit, which is probably what people think is missing from the sound profile. Sound fidelity is great though through my nForce 2 onboard sound, although a bit of interference can be heard at high volumes, which is more that likely the mobo, not the speakers. The sub is great, I usually have to turn it down a little when watching movies because the satellites are grossly overpowered by the sub. The wired remote control has proven to be extremely useful, and the included headphone port on it is great for me so I can switch from playing games with head phones and watching movies or something else. Excellent speakers for the price and the pros considerably outweigh the cons. 5/5

Comments: Great sound, great looks, great price, only one small problem...the base on these speakers needs to be a little heavier. They tip over very easily, and with children around the computer, I have had to set them back up frequently. Other than that small blemish.... very good product for the $$$$

Huge sound from such small speakers
Comments: I bought these right before moving into my new apartment. I used them with a CD player during the move-in process, hoping they would at least fill the living room with sound. The truth was they could fill ALL three rooms, and I had to turn them down! They worked for the move-in and the party that night. I really pushed these speakers, and they came through with no distortion. I need another set, and can't wait for the next version! They are holding a contest on the Creative site for the new I-Trigues, it's linked on their front page.

Comments: Not only do the I-Trigue speakers perform, they are cool looking! Superb quality for such a slim, sleek design. Everything I had hoped for: 5/5, would highly recommend.

Good speakers. The subwoofer delivers very well, and since it has only three speakers, you can hook the system up a cheap stereo or TV or gaming setup without a lot of trouble. They sound great but the mid tones are lacking in depth and volume, but still this is MUCH better than my old computer speakers. The clarity is superb. I have a Sound Blaster PCI 16 in my machine and they still sound good (the PCI 16 ain't that bad to begin with). I plan on moving these to my future gaming PC and that will sport a Sound Blaster Live! in it so I'll have a chance to really hear what these things can do. I never had a subwoofer on any audio system in my house before so I'm listening to all my MP3s over again just to hear the difference a sub can make. The buy is worth it if you don't have the room or audio hardware to support surround sound.
