Run's on linux
Pros: Run's well on OpenSuse 10.2, had to install iscan package. Run's with xsane too. Preview option works fine. ADF is good too.
Cons: The button on scanners do not work. Have to initiate scanning from software.
Other Thoughts: Had image quality problems when using ADF, but it's was packaging material sticking on the scanner, cleaned it with can air pressure cleaner, and was good after.

UofA again
Pros: NONE
Cons: I got a replacement scanner for the defective one I had received the first time. 20 pages in the scanner just stopped working. What is the likelihood of getting two bad scanners??? BUYER BEWARE and there is no manufacturer warranty for defective parts...no wonder!
Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

ADF Issues as Well
Pros: The quality of the scans are excellent, however, I had vertical lines through my documents when I used the ADF and Epson has a no return, refund or replacement policy.
Cons: I feel bad for anyone who buys this privately. Epson has no warranty on scanners and I found this out after 2 hours of having three representatives ascertain whether the ADF was defective and it was. They said too bad, so sad.

Great product
Pros: Bought this scanner because of the automatic document feeder...Works Great! Epson software works very well. Easily scans a stack papers and creates multi-page pdf. Highly Recommended!
Cons: none :-)

Apparently Garbage
Pros: Low cost
Cons: Doesn't work, Epson tech support & replacement is terrible.
Other Thoughts: We got this scanner a couple of months ago, and every scan has vertical colored scan lines on ever page we run through the ADF. Contacted Epson, and they want us to send the scanner away to be serviced. In the meantime, we'd be without a scanner till they could fix it. It's a poor solution.

nice scanner. Works in Linux!
Pros: compact and inexpensive scanner with auto-document feeder and lots of accessories. Downloadable software from Epson works flawlessly in Linux and OS X
Cons: Automatic document feeder rubber roles leave black marks on the back of some documents. Cleaned the device once and it wasn't easy to put everything back together
Other Thoughts: If you need an inexpensive scanner with ADF for something else then Winblows, this is your choice!
