Working Well 1year later
Pros: Doing it's job - using mostly as a video monitor
Cons: None really
Other Thoughts: Olevia not a well known name. but it's been in service now for a year. we use it mainly as a video monitor. So I can't speak about the tuner capablilty or the sound quality. but the picture quality has been good.

awsome for that price
Pros: really! thats all i have to pay to get this, is what i said. and then i got it. awsome computer monitor, good quality! no dead pixels. coolz!!! recomend for poor people, i guess.
Cons: the 4x3 stretch is just a small let down, i dont really care that much. as a computer monitor, i said it was good, but only supports 2 resolutions 1024x768 and 800x600. yes... speakers suck, so what!

Just OK
Pros: It was cheap.
Cons: Only a decent picture. For non-hd TV the picture fairly distorted.
Other Thoughts: Only using as TV not as monitor. Would not buy again.

Good value with a few flaws
Pros: Nice picture, no bad pixels, works pretty much as expected.
Cons: Speakers are painful. The only way to listen is to turn treble all the way down and bass up. There is a headphone jack, so hooking external speakers to it cuts off the internal speakers, but there is little amplification to drive external speakers.
Other Thoughts: As others have noted, this set does not have any sort of zoom feature to stretch the picture vertically when the source is in letterbox format. There is also no panorama type compensated setting to eliminate some of the horizontal stretching when 4x3 material is shown at 16x9. You gets what ya pays fer.

Dont delay, this one is great
Pros: Size, weight, the whole 4:3 issue is really not an issue. Compaired to larger LCD tv's, the stretched screen is hardly noticable. My 37" make people fat but not on the 23". Its a non-issue.
Cons: None. Make sure to add real batteries to the remote an not the ones shipped with the TV.
Other Thoughts: New Egg is great. Ordered on Sunday night and received it on Wednesday. I would order more from New Egg.

For use as a PC monitor..
Pros: PIP, if your an MMORPGr is nice when your on down time. I have my games set at 1280x960 w/Raedon x850 and it looks pretty good but only with the DVI connection frfom vid card and on TV. The component adapter w/card and monster cables were was still very fuzzy. same with DVI adapter using standard monitor cable. The picture isnt as crisp as a flat panel but the size of this monster MORE than makes up for it. Again with DVI picture is VERY GOOD, all other ocnnections were awful. Playing MMORPG would have killed me wit hte text so hard to read from fuzziness with other connections other than DVI. Widescreens on games is GREAT! I would much rather have this than a 19' flat panel with a little more crispness in games. Plus the reaction from your friends when they see a game on this monster will make you happy you went with the size rather than a little more clean pic.
Cons: When I first got this and hooked this up with the regular monitor cable/component cable/ or using reg monitor cable with dvi adapter through dvi connection on card I thought I just wasted a few hundred dollars on this "monitor". After I got a true DVI - DVI cable and hooked it up DVI on card and TV, i was VERY HAPPY! All other connections to the PC were sooo fuzzy an old CRT would have been a much better option but the DVI made such a difference. In short, if you dont have a DVI out card dont bother using this as a monitor, but if you do you will be mucho happy with it on gaming.
Other Thoughts: Did I mention the PIP is great when your on downtime in a game??

Worst product ever
Pros: Price, looks and size.
Cons: Already broke down in less than a month. What customer service? This will be the last type of item I will ever buy through mail order.
Other Thoughts: I am a regular customer and it's a shame no one can help and leave you stranded with a giant paper weight.

Great for the Bathroom
Pros: Excellent price. Decent resolution when using vga or component y input. No ghosting with decent graphics card. Remote is much better than 32 inch model (which I also have).
Cons: No DVI, no 4:3 conversion (trust me it makes a difference when watching tv shows that are not 16:9, Courtney Cox looks like Kirstie Alley after cheers). Significant sound variance with built in speakers when switching from composite dvd to tv tuner, but in my opinion flat panels and lcd's shouldn't even come with speakers, it's a waste of space, the best built-ins wouldn't be 5.1 or 7.1, which is the only way to watch the six million dollar man.
Other Thoughts: For the price it's hard to beat. A rarity. I got this tv for $xxx elsewhere, I think it was a price error.

Great Buy
Pros: Great picture, great price.
Cons: Sound leaves a lot to be desired.
Other Thoughts: I use this in the bedroom and it's great for that purpose. You'll need to turn the treble down a lot and the base up all the way for a decent sound.
As always, Newegg is great. Ordered it Tuesday at about midnight and it was on the truck for delivery on Friday morning.

great buy
Pros: CHAEP. low cost for something that should at least be around xxx bucks. Light weight also! Looks sharp. great picture.
Cons: problems with having the s-video and RGB cables in at the same time. I have to unplug the cables of the ones I'm not using. Says tv is out of range for most resolutions. but it can still rock a pc out!
Other Thoughts: still a really good buy!!!

Awesome for the $$$$$
Pros: Great set for the $$$. Sound not bad after adjusting the bass and treble. As for no 4:3 viewing mode, the picture looks great stretched anyway. Sitting on my bedroom wall with mount. Thanks NewEgg.
Cons: Not many for the price. Well, it doesn't make breakfast or wash dishes. It does do everything it's supposed to.

not HDTV ready
Pros: It is a bargain, but beware.
Max PC resolution is 1280X1024@60hz, but this isn't a true "HD" resolution
Great for an XBOX 360 with a vga cable. Set your display settings to 1280X1024 widescreen and it looks nice
Cons: This is a glorified EDTV Component will not output 720p or 1080i. Only 480i, 480p, 576p (EDTV). Why would they limit the component out to 480i or 480p when the native resolution is 1366X768? The monitor goes out of range when you try to set it at its' native resolution.
Other Thoughts: I wouldn't reccomend this unless buying to hook up to an XBOX 360. Make sure you buy the VGA cable and set the resolution to 1280X1024 widescreen. Wouldn't reccomend for PC use because most graphics cards will go higher than 1280X1024

Beware: No 4x3 Video!!!!
Pros: Good price for widescreen video.
Cons: When a 4x3 video source is input, it expands the picture horizontally to fill the screen. There is *NO* option for black bars on the left and right side of the screen. Thus, 4x3 source video looks horrible.
Other Thoughts: There are probably no other models of widescreen TV that don't offer a 4x3 picture option. My guess is that this was a computer monitor (which does offer 4x3 options via VGA) that was retrofitted to also be a TV monitor. This should not be purchased by anyone who wants to view 4x3 video.

$399....for a 23" LCD...how can you go wrong?
Pros: Cheap, cheap and cheap Component inputs and PC inputs are nice. Sound really isn't all that bad for a bedroom TV. Excellent picture when hooked up to a progressive DVD and Dishnetwork using S Video.
No dead pixels, awesome product!
Cons: Universal remote would have been nice, but hey it's only xxx bucks
Only real complaint is that the power connector is on the opposite side of the rest of the inputs but not an issue.
Other Thoughts: GREAT DEAL.

Outstanding for the price
Pros: This LCD is truly unbeatable for the price. Watching Sin City via S-Video input looks absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to take advantage of the progressive scan when I get a component video cable. The VGA connection is very, very clear. Lots of connections for flexibility.
Very sexy design, looks much better in person.
Cons: Takes a couple seconds to turn on, kind of threw me off when I first powered it up. (Not used to LCD TVs) I thought it was DOA.

Good
Pros: Nice Picture, Great for watching movies, love the remote becuase you can switch between inputs easily (good for people with many things connected). Makes a large monitor. Great Price
Cons: Wish you could have resoultion more than 1024X768. Would be nice with more than one component but a lot of TVs only have one component input.
Other Thoughts: I haven't hooked this up to actual television yet so I dont know how that looks.

Great Buy
Pros: This Tv rocks for the price. I didn't really care about brand in the bedroom just a nice picture for a small price, besides I paid enough for the Living Room TV (Sharp Aquos 57").
Cons: Wish it had 2 sets of component inputs one for TV and one for DVD

Only 480i but nice for size
Pros: HD is great once you set your cable box up correctly. Great bedroom or small living room set. Good brightness for low power consumption.
Cons: No tilt feature. Picture quality is good overall but not as adjustable as most others.
Other Thoughts: Makes a great pc monitor also but only to 1024x768. No higher or lower.

Caution
Pros: 1366x768 panel...that goes completely wasted.
Cons: max pc support is 1024x768. max video support is 480p.
Other Thoughts: just keep in mind what you are getting for the price.

Worth the Money
Pros: As a PC monitor it looks amazing. Picture is crisp and clear. Not bad for a TV either, lots of connectivity along with a sleek look.
Cons: Nothing major yet. The only minor detail is it takes a bit to get used to a 23 inch computer monitor.
Other Thoughts: If your going to use this as a PC monitor definetly use VGA...I tried S video and it looked terrible. I got a VGA cable and it looks amazing.
