PANASONIC QUALITY!
Pros: Superior build quality, HDMI (x2) delivers a very satisfying picture, especially when viewing standard DVDs upscaled to 720p. Decent quality graphics/onscreen displays for things you see often like input names. The audio actually sounds good to me - you can adjust the treble, bass or add simulated surround. Effective picture modes and video adjustments such as black level. I have not hooked up my FIber Optic Svc cable receiver yet, but standard def viewing also looks good (DVD via S-Video).
Cons: No PC input - but an inexpensive DVI to Component adapter will work on your video card. Will not accept 1080p signals like some of the other 720p LCDs - but this probably wouldn't help much on a screen this size -26". (Yes, some displays actually look better with a signal higher than their native resolution.) The remote feels too light in your hand, but really cool universal remotes with LCD screens and backlit buttons can now be had for less than $50.
Other Thoughts: I also own a Panasonic 42" plasma which looks more 3-D to me, but the overall Panasonic quality comes through in this LCD model as well. Seeing is believing. I purchased the open box version of this for considerably less and couldn't be more pleased. Although technically invoiced as a "R" refurbished, it looked perfect and had all the stuff included. The manual says that the '1st time setup menu' comes up again if the tv is unplugged but is not true of mine... The fact that it did come up initially might mean this was truly an "open box" and not a customer return. Not sure, but either way it's a great deal.

Its Amazing!
Pros: The Contrast Ratio and Brightness are just Amazing. The speakers are loud enough for a 26" TV (I put it in my Bedroom). Playing XBOX360 on this TV makes you feel like you are in Heaven!
Cons: Remote Control is definitely of poor quality. It feels cheap and buttons are hard to press. You also have to go through each input selection (6 total) to get to the desired screen, although you can label "skip" the ones you don't have plugged in. No automatic volume adjustment when surfing channels. The on-screen menu not very detailed or helpful but I haven't had a chance to use the manual yet so it may not be that bad.
Other Thoughts: I have not yet used the HDMI connections so can't opine on that but Component and Compoiste inputs work great. Although two of each inputs would have been better instead of 1 Component and 3 Composites. The set worked right out of the box and the stand came attached to the TV (hope I didn't get a used one!)It didn't even scan the channels on my cable connection (I have basic channels only so don't know if I'm even using it or the TV's just picking it from air). The Standard Def quality varies from channel to channel but on average you can see the image distorted. But its an HDTV afterall so can't complain!

Outstanding Value!
Pros: Well...1st off I would like to mention that "Migpen" review is way off base. You can if fact turn off the "Active Light Control AI" Anyone who doesn't take the time to look @ the options within the menu doesn't have my vote! 2 HDMI's, Decent remote (really...it's a typical Panasonic remote), One of the best 26" LCD HDTV screens out there! The picture speaks for itself! I have both DirecTV & OTA @ 720P & it's almost near perfect after some slight adjustments. The sound is better then average & much better then 3rd tier (Chinese) LCD makers. Oh..If you want a swivel base the 26LX600 gives you one! BTW...To keep costs down, almost all manufacturers are going with a fixed base. I don't even think that there is a swivel base on any 2007 models in the 26" range.
Cons: Hard to find any really. Maybe the remote buttons are a tad on the small side, but very usable. I use my DirecTV remore all of the time anyway. Can't comment on the OTA thru the TC-26LX600 because I'm using the OTA thru my D*TV H20 receiver.
Other Thoughts: This is last year (2006) model & for this price you simply can't go wrong! People must understand that 1st tier manufacturers like Sony, Panasonic, Samsung etc. need to compete with the Chinese built (cheaper) brands to sell units! So, there needs to be some corners cut. With the TC-26LX600 there is "no" corners that were cut. You're getting a 1st rate 26" LCD for very short money! Trust me, Newegg won't have this set for much longer, so don't hesitate...Grab one now!

A TV, NOT A MONITOR!
Pros: BRILLIANT picture (can't tell you but beleive me, I HAVE ^.^), EVERY option in the book and with subpixel management, EXCELLANT Viewing angles (seemed nearly 180 to me!), easy to get to connections.
Cons: The speakers are kinda 'dry' (but the sound system all together rocks! just use earphones ;p or the optical out), only 1 component, didn't come with ANY chords! (though the last guy just had a bad pull... it had it's manual and you CAN turn VideoAI on/ off... whether it works or not I don't know...), Remote unit IS VERY cheap, oh and no handle and it's not exactly a thin lightweight (good for mounting I guess).
Other Thoughts: I bought this and an HDMI -> DVI convertor. This thing is a TERRIBLE (almost unUSEABLE) monitor! Nothing I could do helped it and I tried/ researched for a MONTH! But anyway it's an AWESOME TV for videos, games etc.

Poor engineering, poor quality
Pros: Black cabinet. Good sound. Two HDMI inputs. No dead pixels. Detailed, highly adjustable picture.
Cons: Cheap remote with poor layout and extremely small buttons.
The blackness level of the top 3/8 inch of the display constantly varies; this is worst under HDMI, but still present under other inputs.
Panasonic includes an abysmal feature called Artificial Intelligence Picture. Apparently on LX600 models this cannot be turned off. What this means is that whenever the brightness of your program content changes, the TV will make its own brightness changes so as to "correct" the difference. In practice, this correction lags; therefore, the picture regularly flickers, especially after scene changes.
Other Thoughts: Mine came with the wrong manual (TC-26LX60).
This is the worst purchase I have ever made.
