Pros: It has wheels. Yay.

Cons: I'll make this short. My 5000 btu Lowe's window ac blows this thing away. Seriously. I've bought over 7000.00 worth of items from Newegg to date and this is the first rating I have made. I've had issues on some of the other things but they weren't worth mentioning. This product SUCKS.

Other Thoughts: Should have been more patient with my purchase of this type of AC. Lowe's and Walmart carry them and they don't penalize you for making a return. My mistake.

Pros: Begins to cool very quickly after powering it on.

Cons: The unit claims to have an EER of 15.15 and a power consumption of 660W/6.3A for cooling/heating. However my P3 Kill A Watt Electricity Load Meter say it uses ~1000W/8.3A for cooling with the compressor on after running for 30 mins. This means a EER of ~10 assuming the advertised BTU output is correct.

Pros: Very easy to install and use. Very powerful fans and cooling power. The first unit went into a bedroom with 2 teenage boys with highend gaming PCs that generate a lot of heat. The room use to be at 78 to 80 degrees even though our home is fully air conditioned to 71 in other rooms. The boys now keep their room at a cool 68 degrees

Cons: loud fan even on the low speed --we have never needed the high speed to cool this room.

Comments: This 10,000 btu ac/heater packs a pretty big punch. any bad reviews you read about this product are cause the users dont know what they are doing. Ofcourse, you cant cool a small room with an oversized ac cause of predefined settings in the ac itself. But, if you need to cool a 200 - 300 square foot room, this thing is amazing. I bought a dryer hose and vented it right into the attick (dont vent in a wall as suggested in the manual! that only works with certain walls). There are a few factors you must not screw up (mostly to do with venting and insulation), but if vented properly, the results are great. This is the perfect unit to run off a generator aswell (it draws about 610 watts). With the compressor always running, it will keep my 220 square foot bedroom 67 degrees constant in Miami summer heat. A more insulated dryer hose actually makes a difference too. the plastic hose it comes with gets blazing hot and you can feel the heat in the area of the hose.

Comments: I bought this to use in a 10X10 room. I cant keep it cool during the day. Don't know how the heater part of it is, but i'm not pleased with the cooling
