The XCLIO A380 is built with cooling in mind, making the jet-inspired looks a happy addition. This case comes with only two fans, because anything more would be overkill. Up front and on the side are superb LED lit 250mm fans set to bring jet engine cowling to mind. To the rear a single vent provides exhaust that could have another fan easily mounted for additional cooling power. VR fan speed controllers for both of the included fans are for adjustments of the micro-weather system within.
All of the A380's cooling potential is not going to go to waist either. Inside, the cooling powerhouse will be well used on the whopping seven internal hard drives, a micro or standard ATX motherboard, and seven PCI expansion slots. Protected by a styling door up front, it has room for five 5.25" and a 3.5" external drives.
Nor will you need to worry about damage to this masterpiece. Xclio went all out by making it out of 1.0mm SECC steel to protect your system from all but the most arduous of life’s trials. Then to be sure it doesn’t become a victim of its own impressive size, they added stabilizing feet.

Best Case I've Ever Owned...
- Pros: Space - space - SPACE! This case has more space than you could need - EVER. I am running QUAD Raptors and a Radeon X1950XT256 on an Asus P5B-E board. The case is extremely quiet considering the fans are so large. They do not spin very fast - even on the highest setting (there are TWO variable speed wheels, one controls each fan). They do not NEED to spin fast given their size. They move LOTS of air. I would recommend, however, getting an ADDITIONAL fan for the rear of the case to help draw (force) the air OUT (120mm @ 80+CFM). All drives (5 1/4 and 3 1/2) are installed screwlessly. The expansion slots for PCI,AGP,PCIe are also screwless - held in place by a bar that snaps down (you *can* screw them in if you *really* want to). There is no need for ANY tools.
- Cons: The case is HUGE, I wouldn't recommend toting it around. Replacement 25cm fans are NOT cheap, and not easily replacable.
- Other Thoughts: Great case, BRIGHT Blue lighting.
A Great Case for Aviation Lovers
- Pros: Cooling is superb, with two quiet 250mm fans blowing air into the case. Adjustable RPM.
Accessory Box mounted in the HDD cage which is handy for storing extra parts. The box is easily removable to make room for more hard drives, a big plus.
Huge vent in the rear that can hold a 120mm fan.
USB 2.0 and Firewire ports on top of case.
Tool-less design, uses thumb screws to secure side panels.
Sturdy construction, almost no bending and very few sharp places (watch the PSU opening at the back, the only sharp metal I found)
Gorgeous LED lighting.
Aviation themed - a flightsimmer's dream case!
- Cons: Instructions that come with this case are *VERY* limited, some patience required with this build.
The case is not very easy to carry around, but this shouldn't be an issue unless you go to LAN parties. Just be careful with it. :)
Both 250mm fans blow air in, but no fan included to take air out. I recommend purchasing a 120mm fan for the back panel to take air out of the case.
Front door opens to the left, which isn't ideal for my setup, but not a big problem.
Side fan made a loud clicking noise when I first turned on the computer. I found it was one of the LED lights getting in the way of the spinning blades. Gently bending the LED away from the fan blades solved this problem. Seems many of the cases come this way but it's a very quick and easy fix.
Tool-less PCI clip isn't enough to hold larger video cards steady. Fortunately, screw holes are provided, so you can leave the clip open and use screws instead.
- Other Thoughts: This is really a fantastic case, well worth the extra money over smaller, cheaper designs. You won't cut yourself on this one, and you'll have tons of room to expand. It's kept cool inside, and it looks utterly awesome. You'll wow your friends with this cool-looking case.
Make sure you have your motherboard manual handy so that you can hook up the top USB and Firewire ports, or you might be kind of lost as to where to place the provided cords.
Since documentation is so limited with this case I hope my review provided a little bit of help in solving some of the "cons" you might encounter while assembling this giant but beautiful case.
Buy this one! You'll love it! :)

Very Nice Case
- Pros: The fans obviously keep it very cool inside. Especially wit the fans blowing right on my 4 hard drives. Very easy to assemble, even though the instructions seem to be jibberish.
- Cons: Very Large, had a difficult time transporting this from one point to another in my car.
- Other Thoughts: Case overall is very tight, and keeps everything cool. But I wish I had bought the black one, but it wasn't on sale.
Ladies can't get enough of it
- Pros: Space is very nice. Plenty of places to tuck cables out of the way. Fans are HUGE.
- Cons: Tool free mounting brackets don't work in the 5 1/4" slots. (they work fine for the 3 1/2"). Case is very heavy. Don't get if you need to move it often.
- Other Thoughts: Turned side fan to blow out. Can collect a lot of dust on the front grille because it has so much air flow.
Amazing case
- Pros: Did every thing I needed it to do for my build! it has been running flawless for a year as did my entire build I purchased from Newegg! Newegg is wonderful!
- Cons: A big and a little heavy, I dont suggest it for people wanting a portable tower.
- Other Thoughts: build:
