Who says that cases have to be plain and boring? In Win's Alpha360 MicroATX case has an elegant silver finish with that wraps all the way around the case, and includes a vented rear panel cover. Underneath the stylish skin is a very efficient interior that makes building the system a snap.
The 2x5.25" external bays have a pin locking system to easily mount your optical drives. One of the 2 external 3.5" bays also uses a pin system. The 2 bay hard drive cage swings out for easy installation. That's not all that swings out. The side panel releases at the push of a button.
Underneath is a patented Vortex air duct that takes advantage of the large perforated area on the side panel to increase air flow to the CPU. There is a 90mm rear fan to increase overall airflow within the case. With the Alpha In Win combines both style and substance.

slick, tasteful, minimalist design
- Pros: Nice and slick appearance, thoughtful and creative handling of front door, like rear door for cable management, like tool-less design. No cheapo, gimpy power supply to have to pull out and toss away. Designer tried an innovative approach toward clean, desk-worthy, functional design.
- Cons: No power supply. Crowded inside; a real finger buster for a ham-handed lug like me. Some mini cases, like the Antecs, have the drive mounts in a basket which hinges out of the way for easier mobo access. Something like this feature would have been welcome here, and if present, I would have rated the case a 5, but then again, the Antec I am talking about is a LOT more money.
- Other Thoughts: Don't like the color? Ever heard of spray paint? Masking tape? Sure it's crowded! If you don't want crowded, for the same money you can get an ugly mid or full tower and then you can do what you've always done - try and hide the massive ungainly lump under the desk somewhere. Too much plastic? Man up and spend north of a C-note and you won't get so much, but chances are, it will STILL have a fair amount of plastic. No power supply? So what? Take the money you saved and invest in a decent quality (though not necessarily super-high wattage) name-brand power supply. Overall, I think this is the coolest small form-factor case I have seen for under $100. And if you are a tinkerer, intending to have your case open a lot performing surgery in your box, you really have no business buying a mini form factor case in the first place.
This case is great.
- Pros: This case is GREAT! Looks great, feels sturdy, no sharp edges and very few screws. The retractable hard drive cage is a welcomed feature, and thank goodness someone made a decent case with not just 1 but two hard drive slots - FINALLY. Looks great, covers up well.
- Cons: Some features of this case are annoying.
You will look at the instruction booklet to figure out how to screw your power supply in and come up with nothing. The key there is pushing the bottom pegs/wedges out of the back (inside the case).
When you go to pop 3.5/5.5 inch face-plates out of the front, don't even bother without removing the cover (which the instruction booklet luckily details).
Side airflow wing thing didn't fit over my hsf - not even close - it was way off.
It would be nice to be able to put a fan in front of the hard drive cage.
- Other Thoughts: Be sure you want this color - it's more of a silver blue than white, the pictures might not clue you into that (I didn't catch it, but I wasn't really paying attention to the color, and it's fine).

My new case
- Pros: A very good looking case and it it doesn't require any tools to set it up.
- Cons: Need more colour choices.
- Other Thoughts: I will be using this case for all my builds from now on.
pleasure to work with
- Pros: - well built and well thought out case. yeah its plastic on the outside, but the quality really shows in the workings and when you assemble your rig.
- clear instructions with pictures
- Cons: - all the manual is good overall, wish they would have told me of the need to pull the rear base panel as well (you need to do this to screw in the power supply)
- Other Thoughts: This is the case I should have bought all along. I'm impressed with the fit, finish, and engineering that went into the case, unusual for a market filled with poor tolerances, unintelligible manuals, etc.
